A.Wow was one of the best Chinese takeaway meal. Had nasi goreng sweet n sour chicken chicken chow mein egg Foo Yong n chips all the dishes had heaps of vegetables awesome. Would recommend any day.

M.I have been here on many occasions, first time I dined in. Had a lunch date with a couple of friends. If I'm eating out I like to sit down and eat and order a menu not from smorgasbord as sometimes the food could be sitting for half n hour.
I ordered duck roast pork with rice, which was cold and put in a takeaway container where as I was dining in
I also ordered a tray of spare ribs, what I got was chopped up bite size spare ribs with a Peking sauce with sesame seeds
The dine in area looked beautiful except it was dark during the day

$12.90 Pork on Rice. Nice but not great. It's China Palace and the portion was generous. Ate in the restaurant and we're eventually joined by other diners.

P.The food in a restaurant as well as in takeaway is beyond of expectation for such price. It is really delicious and worth-to-try. During our two-day stay in Gisborne we have visited there twice – once for lunch and next time for breakfast! All four of us were pleased wit the food. We did experience some delay in service as the man, who served us, was busy on the takeaway side as well, but we still were treated with great attention.

g.The takeaway bar I'd give 5stars as the food is great, prices are cheap and the customer service is clear. The all you can eat dine-in is also great. The only let down would be the desert options however it is still yummi, also cheap and the drinks are cheap aswell!! The big tables make it great for groups. Glad to see this place pumping

R.We just arrived in Gizzy from Wellington late at night, wanted to grab something to eat and found this place went in and ordered egg foo yong and chicken chow mein, corn soup.. oh man it was one of the best chinese takeaways I've ever tried in my life! Portion was great, price very good and a lady at the counter was super friendly. Highly recommended!

T.For a fast, cheap and yummy meal, I recommend China Palace. My family of 4 adults and 2 children dine here every Monday night and love it. We always order from the take away bar and eat in the restaurant, our kids love it and they even know how to order their own. You have a choice to order from the blackboard or they have featured meals and a smorgasbord.

P.China palace Stargate 2019 I would have given it a 5 star but cause they change the sizes of their containers you get less for your money now where's before in the first original containers it was great value for the money that's my opinion
K.When I want something easy and affordable I go to China Palace they have dine in and takeaway options and you can also book in for functions. My favourite is the Won Ton Soup it's yummy but each to there own they have several options to select from.
N.Str8 up the best dining experience of my life. 3x Michelin stars. If you dont go here then you haven't experienced Gisborne in it's fullest.
