I have been living in Hamilton since 2018 and I’ve just heard this restaurant until last week. The environment is amazing. The atmosphere looked great and sleek, with fair prices compared with the quality presented. Staff were friendly and amazing. Specially SEEMA Excellent service!!

Exceeded my expectations. The staff were extremely friendly, professional and efficient. The food we ordered all came out at the same time and within 15 minutes. All of our meals were absolutely delicious. Admittedly I ordered pizza, which I don’t believe is very Turkish, however it was cooked perfectly. Thin and crispy, not too many toppings, fresh ingredients. 10/10 Would Babaganush again.

Very lovely and kind staff. Felt very good as we were greeted with a beautiful smile. We were 10 people and I must say, they took good care of each one of us. The service was very fast. Coffee was amazing. It costed me only $4.50 for Latte glass, it was beautiful with 2 coffee shots. Pizza was big and dessert was nice too. $11 for any dessert. Nice place for groups. You can sit inside or outside. Good location as it is just on the main road in Hamilton East.

The food was amazing with good portion.The menu was good, lot of options to choose. The ambience was not outstanding but alright. The staffs were extermely friendly. There's only few tables, so if you planning to go in group it's recommended to book a table. The price seems reasonable, not really expensive. I had chicken and avocado pizza, it was awesome.

I had ordered a grilled chicken iskender. It was nice and the portion was enough for a single person. It had chicken and rice with sauces (of your choice) on it, with salads and hummus. It was well cooked and I loved it. Worth trying.

Visiting from Auckland. We went Saturday night 12.09.20 the place was busy hardly a spare table onsite which tells me this is a popular restaurant. Food is "D e l i c i o u s" tasty hmmm hmmm. So much so we went back Sunday 13.09.20 for lunch. Michelle and the team at Babaganush give fantastic service, our Compliments to the chef. Affordable, delicious, oh my word try the dessert menu. If your in Hamilton why not visit you won't be disappointed 😉

Love their Babaganoush dip served with perfectly made bread. If you're going in spring/summer, do try their lemonade. It's refreshing & taste really much better unlike lemonade syrup drinks. Their pizza are delicious with very good thin base.

Service was good, fast and friendly staff. Setting was nice and did look authentic. Unfortunately, food was below average. We've been to Turkey many times and we know what Turkish food tastes like. I had mixed meat iskander, my wife had falafel salad, both meals were tasteless and small portions. We also ordered hummus from the dips list, $4 and serving size was like two table spoons and no bread with it. That was really disappointing. I would strongly recommend the other Turkish restaurant, Sultan's Kitchen instead.

So they've been in business ~10 years and even though I've had business right across the street, this foodie only noticed them this past weekend. Perhaps they could use better signage? Anyway, glad I discovered them at last. On Saturday I had a takeaway chicken and date tajine. It was a little disappointing, needed a bit more flavour. Lots of almonds, which I love, but perhaps they should be toasted as they didn't taste of anything. Not many dates. A healthy meal, though, with a nice salad. Went back for a proper sit-down meal the next night and shared the Sultan's Platter with my friend. This was much better! There was a generous sample of every dip they do and all were great--normally, I don't even like babaganoush! Staff very nice and didn't bat an eye when I asked them to combine three juices for me.

As the name suggest- This restaurant is a real baba. i.e. like a don I would say. Great and clean restaurant in Grey street. Whenever my friends were decided to eat outside the first place which comes to my mind is Baba ganush. I have posted some of the vegetarian meals photos as I am a vegetarian. The taste was so delicious. I would suggest to take the sultan meze platter and iskender kebab which are really worth for money. Also I heard from my friends the chicken kebabs are too good. Hot drinks are quiet reasonable price. I always prefer the chai latte from this restaurant as they use honey to prepare this I believe. Specially the Turmeric latte was also good. Good place to grab the quality meals in Hamilton.

Family gathering. 11 people. Unbelievably fast service (10 - 15 min) after ordering. I shared a ham and pineapple pizza with my wife and it was great. Everyone else appeared to love their food.

Good food, good price. Went here with friends and we ordered from the lunch menu. I got the Turkish wrap which was ok. It was filling but I feel lacked flavour. My friends got the panini and meat on chips combos and both of the meals were both huge and really tasty. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere tastey to eat and don't want to spend too much on lunch.

The food and experience was enjoyable, even after an hour long wait to be seated, but I was really disappointed that I was overcharged for my food. Unfortunately by time I noticed it the restaurant had closed and not living in Hamilton I didn't have the opportunity to go back and pull them up on it. Excellent customer service and the younger staff are particularly competent. Originally I thought the prices were a wee bit expensive until I saw the amount of food they give you for the money. My you do get a lot of amazingly tasty food, and the ability to tailor your sauces to your particular tastes is great. Meat was cooked all the way through and just delightful to eat, with a healthy supply of salads to keep you fit. I highly recommend going, and even better if you take a few people and share the variety of dishes they give you. Overall a lovely experience and the atmosphere reminded me of my trip to turkey.

One of the best places to bring guests in from out of town, grab a coffee in the morning, or to go for a night out with friends. The atmosphere is casual but well done, the staff is more friendly and engaging than most places, and the food is delicious and affordable. The spreads platter to share is a great way to start a meal with lots of unique flavors to try, and everything else on the menu has been just as good.

Probably the most delicious and moist falafels in the southern hemisphere. Old Turkish mate gave us his tips in how to make them. I am not sharing, it's not my place to. If you go and he shares with you, you are also a winner. Plenty of delicious vegan options in the dips and the menu happily modified to suit the client. Nice atmosphere, quieter outside when busy, friendly multicultural staff. I think this is our 5th time, sometimes we have missed out as not open on Mondays. I am sure we will be back again as we often want fresh, tasty food.

The wait staff actually let you talk and didn't interrupt your meal every minute asking if you needed anything, and were there if you raised your hand for them. The place is lit well, the chairs are comfortable, there's plenty of room at the table. I'll definitely be going again.

So, lesson learned, the Garlic Pide is noooot a single person entree. I normally have the Donner Kebab, which is delicious but a bit of a pain to eat. Too big to be picked up like a smaller wrap, but eating with a knife and fork ends with fillings inevitably everywhere. I say normally, as I had the Beef Moussaka recently. Between the sweet chili sauce and kumara it's quite a sweet and savoury dish, almost Mexican when you include the rice and sour cream. Also quite large and filling, but the staff were all too happy to put the remains in a doggy bag. The only reason this review isn't a 5 star is that the Turkish Coffee machine was having issues, and we ended up having staff come to our table three separate times informing us that the coffee would be just a bit longer.
