A.Good to get a hot meal when we really hungry. Ordered the “Kiwi breakfast” which was decent. Maybe ask for a couple extra grilled tomatoes to balance out the saltiness of the bacon and eggs?
I was pretty grateful to find this spot on a road trip up from Hamilton at 2.30pm, way past my lunchtime!! So thanks for the food, Gordonton.
R.Fantastic place, especially the owners and the servers. With lots of peaking available, this place provides a good coffee and fish and chips for my need. Good place to have a break.
1.Well-priced tasty food, tidy dining area. Toilets were passable but extractor fan was quite loud and toilet needed a bit more TLC in terms of cleanliness. Coffee was a bit strong but OK. Staff member who served me, likely one of the owners, was pleasant but not friendly per se. Overall decor was simplistic and in need of updating. Would visit again. Place feels like it could be more but lacks the enthusiasm and vision to take it up a notch.

Throughly enjoyed the super breakfast 🍳 with bacon 🥓 eggs 🥚tomato 🍅 mushroom 🍄 and toast 🍞.
Loved the kiwi 🥝 strawberry 🍓 Fanta drink.
Found the chairs comfortable unlike so many cafes elsewhere.
And they do a good wedges dish also.
Definitely worth going to.
