4 stars if my sundae comes with the centre filled and not hollow next time. Brilliant service from the kiosks however!

Considering level 3 and only the drive thru is open. This store has become my favourite in Hamilton. I understand the frustration of trying to keep wait times down. The staff were friendly and happy and polite under the circumstances. Impaitenceness of 2 cars that left the cue because they thought the wait was too long. In these times, manners are always appreciated. Simple please and thank you to the awesome team of staff that worked 2/11 /21 . Food was fresh and hot. Served with excellent smilies. Go Hard Five x Roads.

Tonight i came into the drive thru of five cross roads mcdonalds round 9:35pm. The staff were flat out and they had made a mistake which happened to be my order and also the customer in front. This was time consuming and Normally at this point i would get angry straight away as i had a van full of hungry children as well. The manager Jayden that was running the shift came to handle the situation fast and efficiently and handled it really well. I was impressed with his service tonight and he even pulled himself aside to make up our order himself. Ka pai to mahi Jayden. We will definitly be visiting this store again thanks to his service tonight.

was a long wait through the drive thru but service was amazing for the amount of traffic that day

Slight error in my order; I'd politely asked for the muffin to be heated up but got a cold one instead. Perhaps the staff were too busy catching up with each other. Coffee was weak....3 stars

Beautiful place and really sweet staff. We wanted to have our coffee and muffin at the cafe so our muffin was heated up and the staff delivered it to our table which was very kind. My friend loved the hot chocolate so please try it. They also have a huge sitting area and you can refill your drink as well. Lovely view also have high chairs. Awesome for groups too and they have variety of sitting area. Great parking area and very close to main road and bus stop. There are also many options for sweet items like muffin and other stuff. Thank you for such a nice experience.

I'm usually the first to complain about bad food and or service, my last visit was such an improvement!! service was outstanding and honestly first time ever my food was piping hot and fresh well done

I had difficulty with the self order unit altough I have done it before - a staff menber came and helped so all was ok - My Grand Daughter Loved the Play area

Been there couple of times. Fast service and clean space. Got plenty of carpark, room for meetings and table service. For the kids, a small playground does a good job in entertaining them.

Better than average for maccas. Vehicle access in and out can be tricky. Has a kids playground, McCafe and a drive-thru.

Pretty standard Macas.. reasonable service at the drive through and hot food 👍

I don't usually go to McDonald's, but this one is just great. It has an excellent ambience for a fast food chain, and their McCafe is very good indeed. It is always clean and is easily accessible from all over Hamilton. Great parking. Pleasant, caring staff. I'll be back.

Great service wasn't to much waiting time in drive thru sometime have marked up the orders but was fixed up onces told

Service often lacking at this restaurant. For me McDonald's experience also requires fresh hot chips not many McDonald's restaurants can boast consistency and this one can't either.

It was busy, but the staff were fast and efficient. The drive through was on point. Well done staff. Haha And we enjoyed our Maccuz

I ordered English breakfast tea. It was served to the table. When I opened the teabag and put the water in there was only enough water for half a cup of tea! I had to go to the counter a queue up for more water. By the time the tea was made it was more or less cold. I didn't have time to complain and start again. It gives a hole new meaning to the term "fast food".

Would be 4 or 5 stars if the put on more staff..poor girl was working twice a fast..if i had a businesses would hire just like that..she was great to see working at a,fast paces..place was clean..which is odd..time i was there was about 330pm

I visited here today, cashier deliberately upsized the drinks for the classic 27 sharebox for my order today. I questioned her and asked her "are they 28 dollars now" which she replied "no they're $27. Then she said its because I was getting 4 medium drinks, why the order was $28. So I said I will go with the 2 small drinks and 2 mediums. My order got changed to $27. Then my neice orders after me, she doesn't get asked if she would like to upsize her drinks for an extra dollar, she is charged $28, for a classic sharebox, which costs 27. Cashier is deliberately upsizing drinks without asking paying customers first. We realize this when we collect all our food, that all my neices drinks are medium. We bought 8 drinks and received 0 straws. Also no paper towels, cmon yous want to charge us more and give us less.

Went for lunch with some mates, and had a great meal. Service was fast, as we used a kiosk, food was hot, and we'd definitely come here again.

Shop was clean & tidy inside & out. My burger was very average as it was lukewarm with no dressing. Staff were very busy so that probably led to rushing to get food out.

Update: visiting in Aug 21, do not recommend the standard hot chocolate, watered down. Is this a thing at all McDonald's? Visiting right now, lovely young woman with glasses is directing customers. Polite and very helpful.

Rhea was fantastic, super lovely and bubbly when we were making our order. Gave great customer service and even made us smile after we'd been having a pretty rough time as we had just put our cat down

Table's and floors need to be cleaned more often as majority of them were dirty. It wasnt that busy there either. On the up side the food was good.

Was stupidly busy, whilst the staff were coping ok, there was no customer care, food bags were screwed up, drinks machine was empty. Don't think I will go back!

Waited 25 minutes for our food, it didn't seem busy, but the drive through may of been busy? Lots of people who came in after us received their food before us. The only reason I've given 3 stars is because we got our meal for free due to the long wait.

We take my special needs nephew here every Wednesday for some dinner and a play. Staff are kind and supportive. We really appreciate it :)

Now they dont do steam buns only with the fillet of fish. Always good fresh food (drive thru) sometimes the fries a super fresh but that depends on the staff working veaides from that food and rhe order are reasonable good.

The service was good, with easy to use self service terminal. Facilities was tidy and neat. Staff was friendly and it was not overly busy with queues and long wait time. Food was typical McDonald's, always been disappointed with the size of the Big Mac, and adding bacon to it does not really make much of a difference.

It's always a bit hit and miss at Maccas. Today was a bit of a McDisappointment. They missed an item off the order (frozen coke) we realized at the 2nd window, and we were told to either drive back thru or go in and pay because it wasn't charged. This message was relayed to us from the manager, we felt it was a bit rough. Found an extra hash brown in the bag tho which made up for it. The cheesy chicken burger tasted good but not quite up to expectations size wise.

Food was hot and fresh, they also cook a fresh batch on request. Helpful with their mistakes on the order. Handy with two drive thru lanes.

Very friendly great customer service

Used to be one of the best MacDs in NZ. Consistently started dropping standards last few months. Still- not the worst by a long shot.

Wonderful place to eat, friendly staff. The play area is a great place for the children to play but can be quite drafty and cold on a cold day so good for the summer. Could do with more seats in play area. Baby high chairs need cleaning regularly, Its great they also clean on request.

This Mcdonalds runs a tight ship. I went in for breakfast and waited no longer than 5 mins. The food was delicious and surprisingly the coffee was a lot better than most cafes I've been too. Kudos! I will definitely be coming back.

One of the few McDonald's left in town with a self-serve soda fountain. If you like mixing and matching your drinks this is a McDonald's you could do so in. The place is spacious and relatively clean, but oddly enough usually quite empty. It does sit opposite to a BurgerFuel which may explain the lack of customers.

The friendly and helpful staff here will ensure your food gets to you quickly. The food made here is your classic MacDonald's, made well and delivered hot. When I visited here there was a slight system error on the self order kiosks, but a helpful staff member was quick to resolve any issues. Restrooms were tidy, as was the rest of the place. Good parking and a very accessible location makes MacDonald's 5 Cross Roads a great place to grab a bite to eat, whether getting takeaway or eating in.

Its a McDonald's. Not a lot to say. Reasonably prompt service. Burgers were acceptably tidy. No complaints to speak of. Not mind blowing though.

Fast, efficient, orders correct, it’s McDonald’s!

I used the drive through they were very friendly and kind.

A cooling relief & eat from the blazing sun. A long tall coke stacked high with ice quenched the burn thirst. Chased down by a burger of considerable size & nutritional value😋

Mc Donald Franchise outlets Or Drive through Nz are very messy service now. Your combo's order greasy on the buns lettuces are outline more brownish not fresh even if you ordered a salad combo not fresh. Very sloppy on the meal value pack. Chips are soggy or warm. Mc Donald staff need to be more aware of food hygiene. Buying combos or on it's own is very expensive. Not worth the price.

the amount of times i’ve gone here and they hadn’t been able to make a coffee frappe kick (most likely because they didn’t want to clean the machine) is really frustrating. otherwise would be 5 stars.

only go there for takeaway menu. Always nice and quick. Never dine in there due to a very unwelcoming atmosphere - from the facility to the customers. I don't feel safe when I'm there. Period.

Sometimes they rush orders in order to get food out during rush hour times, quite frustrating when you want to enjoy a good meal

Decent amount of seating available aswell as a drive through. Digital ordering machines in store make it easy to order with less lines.

Don't use drive threw very slow mc donalds even ordering inside slow service will re visit store in the coming months

Bagel was stale, hashbrowns stuck to packaging and waitress gave my macchiato to someone else. Pieces of lettuce in both our hot cakes packaging. They did replace and refund coffee. Wait time was 10mins on a quiet Sunday morning ( hardly any dine in customers)

Visited Sunday lunchtime. Service was fantastic from the crew member who helped at the order process, through to tray presentation. Smiles everywhere and staff at McCafe delightful. Restaurant clean and tide, a pleasure to visit. I'll be back for sure.

It's a McDonald's... Same everything expensive tasteless food. where you have to wait for in a filthy restaurant. Served by hard working staff who clearly have over endaulged in the product they sell

Heard gunshots and saw 4 police cars fly past while waiting for my order however the soft serve machine was in good working order so full marks

The children like Maccas but getting expensive for teenagers appetites. Very busy at counter. But the computerised order system does help,Maybe it works better for Maccas but encourages to buy more. You can pay with your card and pick up at counter or pay at counter. Food can be delived to your table now.

Went through drive in ,food well prepared and handed over hot.

Drive thru service was exceptional, nice friendly clear voice, actually listening rather than pre-scripted. 3 cars in front of me, 5mins from ordering to collecting food. Happy mum, happy kids. Keep up the good work

Had mouthy, rude teenagers in lobby ruin the atmosphere. No parent to be seen. Sadly staff did nothing about it. We left pretty quick where we would normally have stayed for dessert, because the way they were acting if they weren't careful my baby could easily have been hurt!!

Pretty good place for meal, really hope for vegetarian customer, they can swap the meat patty for hashbrown or egg. Thanks

Service was good but I had a concern for an employee that burnt himself and was not sent to get medical assistance while I was there. Make me wonder how much they care for their staff.

Good good and service as usual, but seems that you can only order via the touchscreen menus now at this outlet so a star off for not providing a walk up and order from a human being facility for older folks with an aversion to all things electronic!

Quick drive through service. But they got my order wrong. Received a sriracha wrap in a happy meal instead of a cheeseburger.

Only drive thru is open 24 hrs. I got into town and need somewhere safe to go till my class started so went by taxi to this maccas. Taxi left and maccas was shut. Shouldn't be advertising 24 hrs.

Nice forecourt polite happy staff friendly advise maybe offer table delivery service for all customers eating in, eliminate the who's who standing around other highly reccommended

Having to order your food on the touch screen can hold up the line especially for customers that aren't familiar with the new system. Having both the touch screen and the people out front to order from provides two systems that work for most of the customers that come into the restaurant.

Used to be horrible and all my orders done wrong. Now with new manager and new staff (exept one) it's much better. The location is excellent and many parking spaces.

I've been to a handful other meccas, but these guys are totally different, they've always been kind and lovely to deal with, they work as a perfect team. Smile is their magic trick.

Located on Five Crossroads roundabout in Claudelands suburb, conveniently not far from the Claudelands Arena. This site has a big restaurant area for eating in. It is also very popular due to its location.

The food was good, my happy meal was sub optimal, how am I supposed to play with a transformers toy with no arms? So insensitive

Good enough... didn't feel welcome though. Girl in charge only seemed interested in talking to one of the boys. None of the others seemed interested in being there.
