B.Pretty busy place, ordered a couple of double cheeseburgers add may and a banana thickshake. Quality was on point. They dont add much salt to the pattie which was interesting and it was still delicious.
B.Greeted by friendly helpful staff member who was patient as we were having problems w finding our vaccine pass. We pre-ordered our kai @ those press button stands n didn't have 2 wait long @ all, kai was yummy reka delicious! V Clean tidy place including rest rooms staff member hardworking keeping premises a place I wd gladly eat in again n again! Well done maccas frankton! 😀
A.My 2nd time here in a year! I'm surprised and satisfied. I was looking for fast food as I missed brekkie and lunch so ended up here. Drive thru service was great and delivery was fast. I had the Grand Big Mac. Loved it, was fresh, tasty and grand. Highly rate it if your really hungry.
L.Ok for a maccas, some of the staff were full of attitude and quality of food only ok. Not the cleanest but I could also see they were stressed and short staffed. Great wheelchair accessibility and their McCafe when open is good coffee
J.Couldn't fault the food. But the service was a bit meh. Partly our fault as I forgot to ask for sugar for my mums coffee. We parked up to wait on those and some crispy wraps. Asked the girl if we could get sugar and she was like yeah its inside somewhere. We went through the drive through first a reason. So we didn't have to go inside. Mum never drank her coffee and I tipped it out back home in TA. She did however enjoy her crispy chicken wrap. Thanks. Ps mum is 77yrs and struggling with anxiety. It's hard to get her out in this weird world we now live in.

M.The largest Mc Donald’s store in Hamilton. Heaps of parking. Fast service, helpful staff. Playground was remodeled and has plenty of room for kids to play and run around. Open 24h at drive through. Dedicated cafe serving area. 10 automated order screens. Worth bringing children in a good weather.

D.Stopped here after 9pm on the way back to Rotorua from Auckland. Traffic was busy but it was easy to pull in and parking was good. Playground looked impressive at night. Place is huge. It wasn't too busy. Lots of room to sit and eat. Self Service pods we tried were not working (same problem in Rotorua outlets), so had to go to counter. Service was prompt and polite. White choc icecreams were huge! Totally impressed by this. They were actually delivered them to us, while we waited for the rest of our order, which wasn't too far behind. Our order off the favourites menu was correct. Won't think twice about stopping in next time.

m.Place is great. There are many seats inside. Playground is great as well for kids. The only con is that sometimes through the driveway they forget to put things in the bag. For example, Pancake syrup, butter or sweet and sour sauce just to name a few from past experience. Always good to double check ur orders before leaving.

D.I find this McDonald's a bit hit and miss with wrong orders or missing items sometimes. Same with staff too with some being friendly with personality and some simply never got the memo!

J.Used to be real messy on the evenings that we would go there, but has completely flipped. Staff are friendly and i felt bad for them because we rocked up real late and stayed there for about an hour nland they didn't complain about us once. I was grateful that we could walk in to the restaurant after midnight.
B.This store is very nice, plenty of space and room to move. Staff friendly and efficient. Loved the coffee. Didn't eat there so can't comment on food. Child friendly.
P.Good location and fast service. But they really need to sort the tech of the self ordering system. First 3 we tried didnt respond. Finally got one to work..but didnt print validated voucher. Very fast at taking the $$ from bank tho. Staff seemed rather used to glitchs tho.

B.Two drive thru entrances to take orders. Absolutely love how they have greeted me in Te Reo Maori the last couple times i have been there. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food has been served quickly and hot. They were happy to give me a voucher for getting my order incorrect.
m.Staff here very friendly and I noticed kept the dining tidy. Came in around 7ish with my family. Was busy and received our food hot and fresh.

S.We went through the drive thru and were told to wait in a parking spot. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes until going inside and finding out that it had been done already, but was forgotten about. They gave us two apple pies as consolation but honestly, I was feeling full already and couldn't get to the apple pie immediately and so had to wait and it wasn't as hot as it should've been. The Kiwiburger was quite disappointing, probably because of the wait time. It was very squishy. I could hear the wet mushing as I bit it.

k.I have only 1 complaint. There is no where for pedestrians especially as this is suppose to be children friendly food hub.Lots of over loadind of car parks .I found it hard trying to get 2 little ones in the door you know they get excited about the park and don't care about running across the road to the door.I can't be the only one who has

A.It’s a good maccas overall, they don’t miss items that I order, they’re open 24/7, but does get VERY BUSY especially drive thru during peak hours. They’re on Uber eats if you want delivery

D.Always good service here at this very busy maccas. Sometimes the toilets are a little manky and could do with more regular cleaning, especially while covid still lurks. I like the ample parking, seating, playground and different entry points from the road.

S.Food was good. But with the new ordering system it took a very long time. Also found myself waiting holding a very stylish but very heavy Mc Cafe mug while waiting for my food. Rather awkward when I had 2 kids and a baby to deal with as well. Thank fully a lovely staff member helped us get down to a room so I could be in quietly with baby while the boys played.

Y.We were there quite late for dinner at 8.30ish. There wasn't a long wait and the kiosk function is convenient for us. Only critism would be on the burgers we had - they tasted fine, ingredients as expected, but they were just lukewarm. Would have been nicer if they were cooked a bit longer is all.
D.Well, couple of times I ordered through Uber and the food that I received was cold. But 4 stars for the 24*7 service :)

d.What is there to say... the thing about McDonalds is convenience, familiarity, and predictability... slowly getting used to Kiosk ordering system. Miss the free refills... Have eaten here many more times than I probably should have - sorry heart and pancreas... Today... Today the food was great... Burgers had plenty of sauce and were fresh, chips were fresh, crisp, and not over or undercooked. service was timely.

E.I usually get custom orders, extra patty, extra cheese, those kinds of orders and i am yet to get one supplied correctly from this McDonald's.
When I get it fixed they are always great, friendly and quick to deal with. It would just be great if it would be right first time.

k.A McDonald's is a McDonald's. Reasonable service speed. Instore or drive thru. Largest playground in the country as far as I know. Recently developed. The self order kiosks are pretty convenient
K.My order took 11 minutes and 48 seconds. That's 9 minutes and 48 seconds above drive thru time. Pretty bad considering I was the only car in drive through and no one in front counter. (After closing time ) plus some machines were down so I couldn't have my order tailored to my request. E g steamer was being cleaned. But I can't complain. It's better to be cleaned regularly than to create a hazard. Not an entirely bad service though. The workers were pleasant and apologetic. Most workers I've experienced are usually sarcastic but this guy was genuine ecen offered an alternative solution so 5 star to him. But 3 star to the overall experience. It's a fair rating.
V.It is definitely one of the cleaner MacDonald stores in Hamilton. Acoustics are not so good, voices carry. Service good and staff willing to help.

H.Nice and spacious McDonald with sizable playground for kids. I took one star out because the air of indoor kids play area was not fresh and good. It smelled a bit damp and seems to need air circulation there.

C.Hit and miss here. When it's really busy, orders take a while in drive thru and tables aren't cleaned/cleared often enough. When it's running well, it's running well. Ice cream machine seems to be reasonably functional

V.Greenwood St Frankton was busy as usual but the staff were Very friendly and Super helpful - A lovely staff member helped us use the electronic boards to complete a large order - she also gave our large group a room which was usually used for 'parties' - Our Food was delivered to the table - All this was Wonderful - sorry I didn't get the staff member's name but she was a Credit to MacDonalds - Thank you
t.Quick service, awesome customer service and lots of seating, also the indoor outdoor park is perfect for kids and parents to view while eating 😀

Second time ever being there and the first time i went,i had a poor experience but this has guaranteed that i will most definitely be back.

L.They saved my life after i collapsed in the bathroom corridor, both lungs full of blood clots, they were wonderful. And the food is always fresh, hot and served with a smile. I once saw a homeless old fella wandering around so asked staff for any food that was good but going to be thrown away, the cafe lady cut a fresh, thick slice of banana bread that was going into the cabinet. He was very grateful, and so was i, i had no money to buy the fella a feed but Frankton Maccas stepped up even in that small way (& yes, i did see you pull money from your pocket to pay for it yourself- you lovely young lady!) Big ups, my fav store.

M.Very busy at all times. Long wait times. Went to get raspberry & custard pie but they said it was finished at 6pm. Very disappointed. Advertising a product that is limited addition but it is out of stock. Rather you keep the raspberry and custard pie on the menu forever and get rid of the apple pie. Which is not delicious.
G.Great playground for the little ones, is usually quite busy but the self service kiosks really speed up ordering. Has decent presentation of food compared to other mcds around Hamilton

G.Coffee was good, but the place was far too noisy- constant beeping from the kitchen, amongst other things. Customers can be noisy, but these were things other than them. It was a relief to get outside again. Is this a plot to keep clients moving on?
L.Clean and tidy however the young girl who served me was not very friendly didn't greet me and didn't smile. The outside play area was also tidy and has a table you can eat at while the kids play. It was bloody cold though so think about wrapping up warm.

R.I have been here 3 times since my last review and I must say I was very impressed by the turn around. There were people coming and going and the staff were quick to cleaning there areas. The new play area is a great hit for the kids and I was happy to sit in comfort with relaxing music and fresh air from the air conditioning. This place is really great for the family. Available are hand sanitizer dispensers, extra order machines, electric outlets to charge your device and there is free wi-fi. The food is very tasty and more affordable than most takeaway restaurants.

J.Best one in Hamilton in fact haven't come across a better one yet..I like that it has ample parking and the facility is quite spacious with plenty of seating. From my experience its usually well maintained with workers always ensuring tables are cleared. Serving time is ok haven't had to wait very long during the rush periods. And a nice change having gotten rid of the old playground and replacing with a more modern one...would have liked to see an outside extension to the playground as well where it has seating available but hey that's just my opinion.
R.Amazing coffee and the cafe staff were so nice and friendly. Was there with my little baby and they tried to make it easier for me by doing my coffee in a takeaway cup even though I said I was having it there. They also made my coffee in the most incredible time and had it ready by the time I had ordered - I was so impressed with the level of service! Thanks guys I'll be back.

m.It's ok overworked and understaffed dont be to harsh on the workers their trying they do make stuff ups but you can't blame them for whoever's running the place being to stingy to hire more workers. I've spoken with some staff and their working really long shifts and are tired it maybe just making burgers etc and seems easy but they got alot of people and their 24/7 so allow them room for error coz your McDonalds is still gonna taste like McDonald's lol

G.Usually very busy when we arrive. All ages seem to hang out here. Service is mostly fast. The volume of people to serve mekes it difficult to clear up behind the lazy ones that do not dispose of their takeaways. Pity! Nice atmosphere and facilities. Currently the playground area is under construction. Looks like a huge playground coming. Hope it will open soon

R.It's a great establishment when its quiet, very relaxed atmosphere, But once weekend comes around or more to the point Friday evening then it gets a little crazy.. You have to make your own judgement. As for the food, well it's a fast food restaurant what more can one say

An update from this review... This morning I was served in the drive through by Natasha. She was very polite, asked questions to make sure I was happy with my order even asked if I was happy, she spoke clearly and professionally. Thank you Natasha for the great serve and making my morning.
R.ordered a medium fries, sundae, and a bacon and egg mcmuffin. when waiting for order was told to wait in carpark one with my sundae which was rapidly melting while a waited. was a long wait and others were waiting as well. i should have been told this at the drive through then would not have waited. home in five minutes with cold chips and poured the sundae down the sink.

K.We went on a very busy day. Balloons over waikato in the Saturday. Although it was packed, the tables were cleared quickly and still kept clean and food was out as quick as possible with influx of people. Playground was very cool
S.Beautiful. Very clean. But the floors are a lawsuit waiting to happen. Like walking on ice. Love the big play place but was terrified my kids were going to slip and break something.

A.Clean and modern facility, but very slow inside service. Waited 25 minutes for a 3 person order at 6am and the place was pretty much empty. Would recommend drive thru if you're in any sort if hurry.
R.I ordered in drive thru. Theres usually a long line at about 5-8ish, and they can mess your order sometimes so double check you have everything. But yeah all round fantadtic service. I'm a regular customer.

i purchased 2 x 2 chicken big mac combos and 2 drinks i received had no ice and it was room temperature without any bubbles in it. i guess they gave us the drink which sit outside for at leat an hour.

N.We ordered a couple of the toasted ham sandwiches a smoothie, coffee and a mocha. The staff were a bit cold to start off with but we're helpful with our selection and one particular member ended up taking our photos to commemorate our off site meeting. Thanks Mc Dees... although it's not my preferred meeting place, the staff on this occasion definitely made the difference
A.Staff were very happy to cater for my dietary requirements. I eat keto and it is often hafd to explain exactly what I want to order. I asked for stuffed lettuce, which this store didn't have, my server gave me other options to fit my needs. Very helpful.
W.They tell people the ice cream machine is broken nearly every night. Sometimes say they don't sell boss burgers after 10:30. Workers look disinterested half the time.

T.Some maccas i go to, the boss burger is sloppy as and all over the place. Today qhen i visited this maccas it was super packed (school holidays) my boss burger was presentable, everything was in the burger and not on the sides and it was good. Service was very good, the cleaners were polite and cleaned diligently for the new families.

Praises to the night staff tonight, staff are amazing and insperational. Spite the crowded rush our meals were served in good time, staff were so polite and friendly though the pressure was on...mostly because we sit eating witnessing staff cleaning and all stations were hands on an awesome example of how a good team should work. We walked out of the 5 cross roads Mcdz because we were so disgusted with the hygene levels and staff wondering around doing absolutely nothing so, Great work frankton staff tonight, well done, bonuses for all gets my vote...
T.Staff were very friendly and helpful Clean premises Easy to order automated machines and of course yumi fresh tasty food I ordered 10 chicken nuggets pack and a short black coffee which was excellent Well done
S.Service is a bit hit and miss but overall not too bad. Food tastes fine but always pays to double check your order. They snuck sugar in my coffee last time. Not ideal.
H.I'm not a huge fan of McDonald's anymore but this has been a great place to eat and get some computer work done when I am travelling through Hamilton.

J.Just a standard mcdonalds, handy being right off the bombay off-ramp. The drive through is a tight squeeze so it's sometimes safer to walk in if you have a wide car or car and trailer.

I know they say that all McDonalds are the same but some are just better than others and this one is one of those! The playground for kids is large and sheltered. There is little rooms and a couple of booths you can enjoy if you're looking for a bit more privacy or a more like a cafe feel.
The drive through is always fast and efficient and accurate!!

S.Hell slippery floor.. very dangerous, there was only one or 2 signs saying slippery when wet for the entire floor space and because it had rained and there had been fat or oil spelt on the floor some where, my shoes and even my parnters shoes were very slippery. It was that bad that standing at the urinal, both my feet were sliding apart. I can not beleive that they were not trying to mop the floor clean.

K.The best without doubt McDonald's in NZ. The staff are amazingly friendly, helpful and polite. The playground for kids is tops and safe. We travel from TeRapa to Frankton just because this is the best. The McDonald's in TeRapa is disgusting with rude staff and it's only 3 minutes away but wouldn't bother.

T.Sometimes the cashiers can be a bit slow and this place builds up quite some traffic at times. They have I wide range of options from pies to burgers, water to shakes, sundaes to ice cream. $2 deals, more bang for your buck. They are building NZ biggest playground. Lots of seating. Order it yourself kiosks. Lots of parking.

N.Great playground but serious rubbish issue yesterday. When customers approached staff member to tell them rubbish bin was overflowing staff member coldly brushed off the request for assistance stating they were on a break.
P.Amazing and very friendly staff, who often help with meals up at the ronald McDonald house for families staying there. Over and above, absolutely highly recommend this place to others.
R.I've been to the Frankton McDonald's at night and it's sometimes not the most wonderful. Middle of the day Sunday, January 27th 2019 it looks like they've got some corporate trainers in on the McRush team. Energy levels are up and the coffee was beautiful from the cafe.
D.This is our usual place when we take a small stop up north or headin back south, usually busy but today even busier due to school holidays, very slow on delivery for coffee, two staff at the coffee area with one coffee machine, just a suggestion, why not add another backup machine and roster more staff on for school holidays, i can see alot of aggrevated moms waitin for there coffees. You are a billion dollar business, you'd think u got it sorted?
P.Better than Mcs in auckland. Staffs are friendly the shop is standard size. Taste is good as well.

R.The service was grate I don't go there very often. But the 3 times I've been this year some one has offered to help us with our orders on the self service machines and it was grate.
