This is our favorite pizza/pasta restaurant in Hamilton. Amazed by the service and the quality of food every time we visit. The pasta is so flavorful! And their pizzas are crispy and fresh.

Husband and I went here for date night. We called at 4:50 to see if they would have a table for 2 at 5:30 and they said yes, to come on in. Didn't take our name, so we figured there wouldn't be an issue. When we got there they seated us no problem, I didn't even mention that we had called ahead (and we ended up getting there around 5:15). So, even if you don't have a booking this place is worth taking a chance on walking in. Food was great. We ordered the focaccia entree and the carne pizza (no mushrooms) as well as the Kit Kat Waffle for dessert. Be warned, the waffle has nuts on it - not sure if it was walnuts or macadamia or maybe something else, but they were good and I usually do not like nuts on my dessert! I really liked the focaccia, well, I should say I really liked two of the dips with the focaccia - though I wish they had included a bit more oil with the balsamic, but it was still good and the pesto was delicious as well. I like hummus but it didn't do much for me with the focaccia. Husband loved the pizza, toppings were just the right amount. And we didn't expect to enjoy the dessert as much as we did. Overall, we felt the prices were a little high on the entree and dessert, but we were happy and plan on coming back to try more items off the menu. For some reason my pics won't upload, but I will try again later.

Lovely staff and the food was excellent. Food came super fast.You gotta try that KitKat waffle, oh my god. The atmosphere has a modern/industrial vibe. The top 40 pop hits and TV really doesn't lend itself well to the atmosphere. It brings the vibe down to more of a typical fast food restaurant like McDonalds. But Mizzoni is so much better than that!

Chef always goes out of his way to cater to my husband's gluten free dietary restrictions & serves the most amazing salads. Highly recommended! Love the Gnocchi , Pasta, Aranchini & Pizzas as well!!

My family and I went in last week. It was by far and away the best pizza I've had in New Zealand. The Chef and his wife the maitre d were amazingly nice, they spoke to my family and I at length, explaining his extensive French training and his love for pizza. Exceptional.

Wow, what a revelation this place was. As a local I figured that I knew most of the good places to eat in Hamilton. I have driven past Mizzoni many times, I have had many meals in the pub next door. I always assumed that Mizzoni just did amazing wood fired pizzas and that was it. How wrong was I. Behind a fairly unassuming shop frontage is a gem of a place to eat. Upstairs is a lovely seating area. My family of 7 all ordered something different. Rib eye steak = Amazing Chicken parmigiana = Amazing Mushroom Risotto = Amazing Carbonara = Amazing 3 x different pizzas = Amazing The focaccia starter was a glorious sign of things to come. It’s unusual for all 5 of my children to agree on anything, but the voting was unanimous, they all loved eating here. We will most definitely be coming here regularly from now on.

My wife and I visited this restaurant several weeks ago on a Sunday evening. The food was great, but there were flies flying around which kept trying to get into our food. While the food was great, the service and atmosphere could have been better. It was a restaurant, but did not feel like one and more of a takeaway joint. It almost felt as if this place does not know what it is trying to be. The service was alright, but I feel they could have been a bit more enthusiastic with their approach. This is not a bad place, but they could be better.

One of best massa in Hamilton!!!The Gnocchi Pomodoro and the Carbonara was amazing! Great flavour, full of cheese and taste! Strongly recommend and 4sure I’ll be back to try the pizzas and other options in the menu!Also the staff very kind and always asking what we think about food, the order take a bit longer and they gave us a free garlic snack while we waited! Actually one of the best places to enjoy Italian food in Hamilton. Friendly staff the pizzas are fantastic!! Cheesy garlic bread is a must have!! Cheap mojitos and great upstairs dinning area. Highly recommend.

Came here on a Thursday night with the missus and it was great 👍 the food was really good and the service was quick and friendly. There is a Mezzanine floor which is where we sat and it was cool. There is indoor seating on ground floor and some outdoor seating. Pizza was fresh and pasta was nice, would recommend 😁

I'd say this place is definitely one of the best, most consistent restaurants in Hamilton, probs even nz! 😋 The Woodfired pizza is always good, never had one we didn't like 👌 we've been here at least 4-5 times in the last couple years. Crust is perfectly salty, crispy and light... they just updated their menu to have pasta! AND a lunch deal!! We had lamb shank gnocchi and it was delicious! Would 100% reccomend! Always happy after eating here! Cool staff too (:

Found this wee treasure accidentally while having a drive around Hamilton. Popped in to get a coffee. The smells are delicious so 1 coffee, 1 steak and chimcurri pizza and 1 lemon cheesecake later😋😋.food was Devine, best pizza ever, good cheesecake and the staff were friendly and very helpful. This place is one of our casual sunday lunch place after swimming. Always welcoming vibe and good temperatured place! We had prawn pasta, chimicurri and steak Pizza, chicken rissoto, Medi.. salad today. Foods are stunning as usual and good service and care. We will come back again:)

Our favourite place to spend a Saturday lunch! We loooveee their pizza, pasta and the cocktails are yummmmm!!! I tried their new Spice Margarita today.. omg! Delicious!! The staff are soooo amazing.. definitely our favourite weekend eats and drinks!

Outstanding. Ordered x2 nights in a row, that's how much we loved it! I had pasta both times, the Prawn and Sausage Diavola and the Carbonara. Both were outstanding, delicious and flavourful! My partner had a Tikka Pizza and second night the Chipotle Pollo. We also tried the Caramel pretzel shakes, ordered Mediterranean salads for tomorrow's lunch. We also tried the waffles. Everything was exceptional and delicious. If we had the money, we'd order daily! Yall have to try this!

Best pizza in all of Hamilton! Maybe even the North Island! The team is always so happy and welcoming every time I have been there. Tonight I placed an order online and asked for them to draw a birthday cake on the box (as it is my partners birthday), the team went one step further and gifted us a free dessert and wrote happy birthday! You will not regret eating here at least once a week. Not to be missed!
