After several years of walking past this place, we finally decided to try it. We got 4 different types of dishes, and each was delicious and authentic in its own way. Loaded with quality ingredients and for such a reasonable price. I'm glad we've found a new local eatery

Best Malaysian food in Hamilton! it's also a lot cheaper than other places

Awesome Malaysian takeaway at Grey street, with meat, chicken and seafood options for all tastes. The owner takes care of the clientele and give good suggestions for first timers in his store. The sweet pork is delicious and tender. Worth the visit and will repeat again soon.

Best Malaysian in Hamilton. Get the char kway teow - it's so good. Really fast and friendly service everytime 🙂

I had just tried the wat tan hor （Flat Rice noodle in chicken soup based egg gravy）. The Best in NZ. The noodles has a sheared smoky taste "wok hei" imparted on the noodles. Super yummy. Crave for malaysian food, this is the place for authentic wat tan hor. So soooo nice!

Without a doubt one of the best experiences I have had in Hamilton. Amazing traditional Malay food, knowledgable and friendly chef. Definitely coming back!

Nice, mid range pricing but decent portions when I went. The staff were very polite and friendly, and the food was tasty and nutritious. The only negative was that the eftlos had gone down, and we had to pay with real money, like cash! 💵 💵 💵

Now, this is a charming addition to cuisine n Claudelands! It has recently arrived, with fresh, sparklng, modern ambience. The different styles of seating is invitational, but they also provide Malaysian take-aways. I had delicious Nasi Goreng: it was a large helping and it smelled and tasted like I remember from Kuala Lumpur. Friendly, efficient service. I'll be back. 😀

I am here on vacation from Colorado, USA searching for great asian fare. So lucky to find Red Pot on Grey St. We ordered some AMAZING kolok mee. It's was so delicious!! Noodles had the right texture and the mince on top was delicately flavoured. The mee goreng was delicious too. Thanks for a wonderful experience. Will defintely come back soon!!

Best Maylasian food I've ever had and price is cheap

Great honest food. They are very quick as well at the moment. I reckon when more people find out how good they are they will take longer to cook so get in now while they are unknown.
