Reviews of The Original Thai Restaurant
R.I always go for a Coconut Red Duck Curry with Lychee when i eat Thai. First time I went to this place and I really liked it. Lady was lovely. it came out looking lovely. Even a candle underneath to keep warm (which I thought was a great idea.
Only thing is when I asked for Mild, it did come super mild. So just bear that in mind. when trying to gauge how hot something will be (I am a woose when it comes to heat).
G.We were quickly seated, delivered our drinks and our order taken. The restaurant was clean, tidy and well presented with authentic thai decorations.
The food arrived and looked delicious. My mussaman had a little candle under it to keep it hot and it fancy dish. The boat curry also turned up in a nice boat shaped dish.
All the meals were absolutely delicious.
Service was great.
We would definitely go back.

J.I must say that I was not blown away with the taste of the food, the sauce needed more flavour. At our table, some loved their dishes and others felt plain mediocrity. Evidently, not all dishes are created equal. However the presentation was consistently lavish, every dish at our table was beautiful. The staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient.
B.Absolutely lovely food. We stayed at Novatel and this restaurant is literally across the road, so handy if you don't want to walk or drive. We had takeaways 4 nights in a row.
