Lovely little winery to taste local wines only available from here. Had a fantastic cheese platter with some salami and fruit and a bottle of Sauvingon blanc. Views are spectacular and the staff are very helpful.

Stopped in here by chance. Had a great wine tasting, so much so that we just had to get a glass of the chardonnay each. The olives in lemon oil complemented it perfectly. Great location to sit out, soak up the sun, take in the fabulous view and enjoy the delicious wine. We purchased a bottle if the chardonnay to take home and are only sorry we didn't buy more.

Fantastic place to stop for a bite to eat. Wine tasting. Sit outside enjoy the view with a cheese platter and drink. Kids young or old can feed the donkeys and play with the puppy's. very nice Honey and pickles also available for sale

Very surprised to find such a great range of wines from this unassuming Little winery. Kent was spot-on and knowledgeable, handling questions with truth and flat answers instead overselling the wine. Mum walked away with 2 bottles of the Riesling Dry 2014 to bring back to Cali. Highly recommend this winery.

What magical experience. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the cheese platter was delicious. I was torn between the Riesling and the Sauv Blanc, but both were good. This place is family friendly as our kids loved feeding the Shetland pony and the horses, even the donkeys got in on the action. Overall, this is perfect spot to sit in the sun and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains as you enjoy a nice drop.

Lovely winery, very friendly owners and the little dogs are cute! Enjoyed all of the wines we sampled, my favourites were the Mother In Law (low alcohol), the Chardonnay and the Liquor. Coffee afterwards was exceptional. Nice assortment of home made cookies, honey and skincare products.

Take the time to stop and enjoy an informative wine tasting and create your own platter with amazing selections of cheeses, meats etc. The wines were great also. Breath taking views and Conrad and Sam provided exceptional hospitality. Don't drive past well worth a visit.

This place is great!! The owners were really friendly and approachable. The cheese platter was fantastic and the wine was amazing too (even lots of non wine options for those of us that aren't huge wine fans!) The animals were also fun. Highly recommend 🤗

Great place to stop . We only had time for a quick coffee but the coffee and views are wonderful and so is their wine. We bought a bottle of sauvignon blanc, which was less acidic than Marlborough wines. It would have been a good lunch stop I think if the timing had been right.

It was our wedding anniversary. While visiting Hammer Springs, we were looking for somewhere quiet for a drink. Decided to try Waiau River Estate, they made our afternoon. The hosts were very accommodating, the food was fantastic, the views across to the river - amazing. Highly recommend as a venue or a getaway.

This winery featured beautiful views, delicious wine, and friendly staff. I can't say enough about how welcoming Conrad and Sam were. I could have spent hours here visiting. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

I am in LOVE with the sweet mother in law reisling (made every 3 years). Just got myself my annual case of it. See ya next year.

This Place is Magic. I just stopped in to check it out and Im glad I did.. Although not much into wine these days, the Prosciutto and apricot honey were superb and of course lets not forget about Conrad, a man with panache and personality!
