C.Extremely friendly wait staff. we were seated and served quickly. The food tasted great. Especially the chicken pizza. it was huge and quite impressive. Will definitely go back.
J.We had the steak meal. It was mediocre. I asked for medium rare, it came over done. We've had much better steak meals at home. An excellent place to drink with your mates or co-workers though.

This was a very filling meal, however a little on the saly side & contained a lot of black pepper. Could benefit from some pulses, like chickpeas or white beans for boost up the protein content.
J.Fantastic food and service. Have dined out a lot locally this week and this is the best service we have had. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, very busy for a reason but still a quick turn around with food and could maintain efficient friendly service.

K.Quick and easy to choose one of their best selection from the menu. Its menu is devided into types of meals and price range. The food is quite good and come in nice decoration like the steak I have and the soft crab. Crumble apple is delicious. It's 2 pm and many people are still coming - sitting, standing, gathering around. What a warm restaurant!

I had the steak cooked well and presented nicely, but not seasoned at all. And no salt on table.
Caesar salad was nice, well presented and flavorful. But bacon was stone cold as was the chicken. Unfortunately I expected it to be warm.

L.On Saturday 20th November my wife and I celebrated our 47th Wedding Anniversary, just the two of us here for dinner.
The menu was absolutely delicious and the service was awesome. Highly Recommended. A+++

B.When my grandparents booked, Jarks was very accommodating. Made room for our late notice booking of 10 for her 80th birthday. This was how we were welcomed. Was a nice touch, thank you. Staff were absolutely lovely. Food was tasty and filling. Definitely looking forward to coming back when we are back in the area 👍

V.Customer service was awesome all staff were very friendly, took us in straight away even tho we never made a booking so we were very lucky, timing on the food was great, my partner ordered the ribs he absolutely loved it, I ordered the green Tai curry prawns was nice but it had no sauce to the curry was more like thick paste the taste was good but other than that I would've given a 5 thankyou so much for having us

K.My husband and I are visiting Hastings for a wedding from Brisbane, Aus. We called at around 8, not sure if we were too late for dinner to be told that it was not a problem and to come one down. Upon arrival we were greeted by wonderful and very pleasant staff. Waiting for us was a lovely welcome note (see pictures). My husband and I both had the Bistro Beef preferring our meat cooked medium rare. Both meals came without much wait and cooked perfectly. Definitely up there with the best steak I've had. My dessert was also to die for. Chocolate Brownie, warm and gooey centre. So lovely. Thank you to our wait staff, especially Connor. Will be back and will recommend to all.
O.This place is amazing awesome excellent. Had the best experience there with staff who cared were prompt and helpful. Ordered the loaded BBC bacon and cheese fries as entree, and couldn't finish it that's how generous the helping was. For main I ordered the Beef eye fillet steak and cooked to perfection. If I could make a suggestion it would be more mash underneath steak as this was drowned with the steak and gravy juices. Would highly recommend trying this place out to everyone who reads my blog.

L.This place is dim and quiet on the streets but filled with locals inside. Thankfully we arrived early for dinner and managed to get a table. Looks like alot of seats are reserved.
Our favorites were the garlic cheese bread to start and the seafood chowder was delicious, generous with chunks of seafood.
L.Mushroom sauce had about tablespoon of mushroom and tasted like packet gravy not nice and cost $9.50 wouldnt return for a meal there
G.Friendly and welcoming service. Food was out really quickly even though the place was busy. Surf and turf that I had, everything cooked to to perfection, and the chicken and bacon pasta my partner has was seasoned to perfection. Add in a great local wine list, can't not give the place 5 stars.

We didn't make a booking but the manager /owner was very accommodating and found us a nice table by the fire. Meals were great service was fantastic. Really great to see such great team work within the waiters and waitresses, great vibe and atmosphere!! Highly recommended
K.A very popular restaurant, food is good however quite overpriced and small servings. When you're paying $25.50 for a 'large' fish and chips I would expect more than 10 chips, no need to be tight with potato! They were good but not at that price. Not much fish either and after waiting an hour for our meal wasn't impressed.

P.Have been twice with group bookings. Our orders are taken once everybody is present, drinks while waiting, food served out very quickly, taste and presentation on point, staff attentive without being intrusive, menu varied and very well priced. Our group will be back yet again.

A.What a great place! We went with a group for a special occasion. The service was wonderful, special thanks to Lindsay for being super attentive. Meals good and very generous, classic pub grub. We had a long wait due to a big group putting their orders in before us but were kept up to date and looked after as we waited. I really think that was awesome, and we really appreciated it. T.LOVED this place. We didn't have a reservation but the super friendly staff managed to find my family a table. They provided colouring in pencils and pictures to amuse the children and bought their meals out slightly earlier which was great. Meals were very tasty. I can highly recommend the lamb dish. Excellent value for money. Atmosphere was wonderful and staff were exceptionally efficient. Will definitely be back. Good work, Jark's!

Service 4 out of 5. First waiter (he was from Ashford, Kent) was fab 5+ out of 5. The next waiter, I think it was Jack had little or no personality. He barely spoke and didn't say please or thank you. The rest of the staff were nice, although we didn't have a huge amount of interaction with them.

L.The steaks never disappoint at Jarks, been here for dinner several times now and the boys steaks have always been on point. Can't often say that about a restaurant. I always choose something different and have never been disappointed, the brisket I had last night was spot on👌.

It was a bit hard to hear the staff at times and noisier than other restaurants I have been too. but being saturday night it was expect to be busy. Good place for older kids between 8 - 16,
Suggest to make reservation ahead of time and not sit under mezzanine floor, as it can become very noisy.
In Summary it was good experience, if you haven’t been to jarks it is worth going for a drink or staying for a meal.

J.Came in while it was quiet. The staff were nice and the food came out promptly. While the food on offer is pretty classical and very good I waent very blown away by what was on offer. Also the garlic bread was pretty average.
S.The staff were extremely busy while we were there as a group that had booked for 12 ended up needing a table to seat 30.
Even though they were rushing around the team were all very friendly and the kitchen put out some great, uncomplicated, food.
Large TVs scattered around the bar would make it a popular place to eat out while a "game" was on and it was certainly loud when we were there but we enjoyed our visit.

K.First time dining in jarks, what a warm welcome we got, even thou it was packed the staff were calm and very on to it lol, they sat us down and we had 2 $15 steak meals 😍 it was served within a good timeframe (15mins I think), unfortunately our steak were undercooked, what blew me away was the DM, she came on over and done her job awesome 😍 we didnt mind coz the timeframe was good so we just sed yes plz recook them that's ok :) most delicious steak I have ever had 😍 the DM also gave us a discount and we left HAPPY 😍 thanku jarks xo hope today is going to be the same 😍😍😍

J.The service was really good and the staff were really friendly but thats were it really ended, the food was very much lacking, for the price of the food half our staff went home and had more for dinner the steak which was meant to be medium rear came with the fat not rendered which made the steak taste like eating candle wax and the meat was sat on the chips so the chips became mashed potato, the restaurant and our seating felt like sardines in a tin and the place was so hot our staff had to keep taking breaks outside to get away from heat.
