Good food. Good ambience. Would come back here for the pizza. The crust was just the right texture and thickness. We had the Neapolitan. A little too salty with the anchovies. My husband and I took some of them out but it might be a preference thing… I would prefer if the pizza didn’t have too many toppings. It makes it too complicated and too many different flavors going on. However, I was still pleasantly surprised by how the pizza bread turned out so I would definitely come back and try the other pizzas on the menu. Tiramisu was also not too bad. Most importantly, the servers here were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the drive all the way from napier for dinner :)

I've been to this place twice (once inside and once outside). Loved it both times. Amazing Neapolitan pizza, good cocktails, and great selection of desserts. If you feel like you can afford the calories, i would recommend Nutella Pizza as a desswet, it's amazing. The place has a really nice atmosphere. They do not take bookings and seem to be always full so I would recommend plan the visit before you get actually hungry, as you may need to wait a bit. You can do that sitting at the bar sipping on one of their Negronis.

Had a takeaway meal from Alessandros. Awesome service, very fast. Had the pizza focaccia, meatballs , lasagne and calzone. All were really yummy, good size meals. Will definitely be going there again.

Best woodfired pizza I have experienced since coming to New Zealand from Europe. It was nice to see authentic ingredients on the menu. The flavours were stunning and came together really well. The right amount of garlic balanced with the tomatoes was a delight. Travelled here from New Plymouth and would travel back again. Only thing that matched the pizza was the customer service. Banging restaurant.

Our waiter went beyond all expectations, nothing was too much trouble, serving with genuine happiness. The gnocchi was sooo delicious. Also the rest of our vegetarian meal. I look forward to another visit to Havelock North so I can revisit this place and enjoy more of the delicious gnocchi.

Was here to celebrate a birthday dinner and wow our pizzas was definitely authentic, well made, cooked and tasted incredible. Was a little bit of a wait but it paid off. As we were here in winter, do recommend bringing something warm as we were outside and the heaters weren’t doing it for me. Great night otherwise

Fantastic experience, absolutely loved the evening for a large group booking for a birthday celebration. The team were very accommodating and the food was delicious. We were blown away by the price too, such good value!

Beaut pizza place, really lovely staff and an exciting atmosphere. We visited on the second day of the traffic light system and they had clear signage, no fuss about scanning in and sorted us out quickly. Great menu with lots of choice, we chose a range of pizza and we're not disappointed. Would recommend.

Excellent proper Woodford pizza! The dough was 👌🏻 Easily the best we have had in NZ! We find it hard to find amazing pizza similar to what we get in Southern Italy! This is it! Friendly staff, gorgeous atmosphere off a little secluded strip of restaurants. We had the Napoletana (minus cheese) and the Sicilian. Don’t hesitate to come here & eat in or get takeaways! The pasta menu also sounded incredible.

This is probably the best Italian restaurant you can find in the whole New Zealand! They make incredible pizzas, fantastic pastas and lasagnas and wonderful desserts and cocktails 💫👌🏻😻😋 mindblowing delicious wood baked pizzas! The taste of those pizzas really make you feel like you've just visited Italy! We decided to take a little detour on our way from Palmerston North to Tauranga just to visit this restaurant 😹👌🏻 that is how good it is 😉😉

I was left feeling somewhat underwhelmed by my experience. The pizza is certainly delicious. My brother visiting from Whakaktane was the main catalyst for my visit from Napier. He had been told by a friend it was the best pizza outside of Naples and after missing out last year he didn't want to go home without trying. So we drove to Napier for some pizza. It was very good no doubt and I would like to try and go eat in some night, but certainly not that great to warrant a 40min round trip. Vincis in Napier is just as good if not better in my opinion. But if I lived in Havelock it would be a regular.

The pizza is great. We had a lovely server as well. I think we may have just gone at a busy time as I did feel rushed, when we finished eating, to have to leave our table for next people. So my friends and I left pretty quickly. Price is more expensive but worth it for the size and quality of the pizza.

Our latest meal here wasn't as good as usual. The wait staff was brilliant, the pizza - usually excellent - was pretty good... But watching the (presumedly head) chef make our food with his mask down on his chin, and another chef take it out of the oven with his mask under his nose? Not so great.

My husband and I go on date nights quite often♥️ We came across Alessandros and even though we didn't have reservations they still opened their doors and welcomed us inside. The service was fantastic and you felt like you where in a real proper Italian restaurant 😀 The waiter offered the wine we chose to me first and then to my partner which was something I haven't actually experienced! We ordered and it went smoothly. Food was properly presented and tasted absolutely 👏 amazing 👏 Hands down I will recommend going here for a fantastic meal 😋 I have already recommended Allesandros to a few of my friends. Thanks!

Great pizza and fantastic service, highly recommended to lovers of great food. The pizza base and crust is out of this world! I also read the bad reviews and on that basis would suggest that anyone looking for Dominos pizzas stick to Dominos. These guys use quality products for a quality meal, not highly processed meats and sauces on a cardboard base. Keep it real guys!

Even though my dish was inedible because it was way too salty I’m still giving this place 5 stars! It was the most amazing service and the chef was very professional about the feedback on the salty dish. However the rest of the dishes were amazing the cocktails were awesome too. Definetly need to get the tiramisu!

Pizzas were ok, no major didn't see the hype. Pastas was better though, recommend those over pizzas. Gets really busy and the service levels drop significantly, namely forgotten requests of plates, cutlery and sauces. One waiter stood out though, guy running around, very friendly, unfortunately forgot his name, but 5 stars for you my man!

A guy from southern Italy with us had faith in it, and when we arrived the Italians in our party spoke Italian to the staff, who seem to largely be Italian themselves. So needless to say it was the best pizza I've had here in New Zealand

First things first, the Pizza is really delicious, with an authentic Italian flavor, basic Italian pizza at it's simple and best. Some slight innovations and changes are there as well but the at its core the old combinations remain unchanged. Second the new place is larger nicer and the outisde with the "food court" with the neighboring two restaurants has really a nice Mediterranean flair, honestly a place you actually enjoy sitting outside!

What a great little pizzeria. Obviously popular by the amount of people there. If you're a pizza fan this is a destination you shouldn't miss. These are not cheap pizzas but you can see that they are the real deal with an Italian making them. Great drinks and lovely atmosphere. I will go back there again.

Always reliable for real Italian pizza, don't usually have the pasta but the amatriciana was pure yum! Went well with the Albarino white wine from Portugal on the menu. Add the courtyard atmosphere and it is a recipe for a great, relaxed dinner out. Oh and don't forget the staff, don't miss a trick, spotted my husband getting sun strike and came over and popped up a sun umbrella.

Very good, authentic Italian pizzas. We loved the rucola (arugula) and prosciutto crude pizza, and the sausage pizza (somewhat more spicy than the usual) was excellent as well. Ice cold Peroni was welcome on the very hot day, as was the air conditioning. We enjoyed ourselves at least as much as at the fancier, pricier vineyard restaurants, but there’s a place for both.

Absolutely dynamite! My wife and I visited one evening after a long day of hiking. We were famished and mowed down Doci e Pere & Capriccosia pies. If you are hungry, you can take down one per person and the flavors are amazing. I wanted to go back and try another couple pies the next day, but we didn't make it back. A couple options for outdoor seating and a cozy dining room. There were lots of take out orders and the place was recommended by a local. This must be the place they frequent!

(Translated) Very good pizzas over a wood fire and good service. Just lacks some heating inside but there outdoor terrace is heated. The dough is quite thin and the edges thick and fluffy. The size is average, to share if you have a small appetite but good size for one person. (Original) Très bonnes pizzas au feu de bois et bon service. Manque juste un peu de chauffage à l'intérieur mais là terrasse extérieure est chauffée. La pâte est assez fine et les bords épais et moelleux.
