I.Local gem, great idea with the self serve drinks fridge. Pizzas are tasty and good sized, and didn't skimp on top quality ingredients. Highly recommend the mushroom blue cheese one. $150 for 4 people with drinks, very reasonable.

Haven't been back here for a number of years, still same funky decor, same tables, same same.

W.Finally got chance to try the pizza from Pipi after friend’s highly recommendation. I’ve got to say that every penny worth it, it was just so good. Always love authentic Italian pizza, the dough was soft and moist just at the right place. Blue cheese made the whole flavor even better. Definitely gonna come back to try more classic style! Thanks a lot for the welcoming service too!
S.My avocado smash was very elegant and tasty. The layout is spacious. I especially like the artsy copper lights in this smart café. Great cabinet food too. I would have liked to see a vegetarian sandwich option.

V.A little bit of a wait on the pizza and dessert otherwise probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. Has a romantic ambience inside so perfect for date night.

V.Pizza is often a mixed bag for me but Pipi does it just the right way, absolutely brilliant. Lovely staff, good wine selection, great value for money. I will surely come back, highly recommended!
N.Was over in the Hawkes Bay over the long weekend and stumbled upon Pipis. One of the highlights of our trip! Lively atmosphere, friendly service and DELICIOUS food. Went back twice since they had run out of the meatballs the first night. Only regret- not trying the gnocchi. Next time!
L.13 of us for a birthday dinner at PIPI yesterday evening - Large groups aren't always fun (or often made to feel very welcome) for restaurants but I was genuinely impressed with how awesome the team at PIPI were - Nothing was an issue, everyone had drinks + their order and a great night was had by all.
Thanks Alex for allowing us to bring a birthday cake! Will always come back to Pipi.

Pizzas were awesome too. The leafy green pizza was great, and as pretty advice tastes much nicer than it sounds!

O.Oh my word! The blue cheese pizza was amazing! The crust on these pizzas is phenomenal. We also tried the calimari and parfait. The parfait with home made flat bread was my favourite.
B.Pizza was tasty but very disappointed that the Olives had pits in them on the Pizzas?? - makes it very difficult to get the flavour combo when you have to eat them separately.
J.Amazing tasting pizza. Great homemade bases. Perfect for birthdays and dinners. Great Italian scene and atmosphere. Good customer service. Is a little bit expensive but would pay the price for the pizzas. Sometimes a long wait for food, if busy. Overall the experience is amazing.

K.Pizza without cheese? Well it does sound weird ...isn't? But the toppings on this pizza was quite unique and well thought of. I had Vegan turmeric,spinach,potato and tahini pizza. I liked this combination,just one concern, the turmeric flavour was quite dominant. I will come back to try other vegan dishes for sure 😊

I have been here many times, in fact I try to visit whenever I am in the vicinity.
It is VERY pink but do not let the colour influence your decision to eat there.
The food is fabulous.
They have indoors and outdoors seating.
Try the area in the back, it has a lively ambiance.
I had the sole (fish) and had a bite of the blue cheese pasta, my-o-my!!!
They have a good variety of dishes, including vegetarian and fabulous pizzas.
Go early as the place fills up quick regardless of the day of the week.
The service is great and they even serve kombucha as a drink option.
D.Great informal atmosphere (get your own beer selection from the fridge) and good food menu. Pizzas a specialty; delicious and not like the fast-food chains. Can be a bit cramped when v. busy but everybody gets along OK. Fairly wide wine menu if you don't like beer with pizzas.
D.Bloody loved it at Pipis. I booked the back tent for a little group of 12 to celebrate my birthday. The pizzas were hot, huge and quick to appear on our table. There was a nice heater above the table which was nice as it got chilly out there. Top spot. Lovely folks. Get in my belly !
D.My wife and I visited Pipi for diner during a weekend away in Hawke's Bay. We were staying outside of Napier but travelled to Havelock North especially as a friend recommended we go. The restaurant had great atmosphere and was incredibly cosy. We really enjoyed the locally made Aperol on their drinks lists (we went a bought a couple of bottles in town the next day) and the pizza was so good we ordered one to take away as well.
S.What an awesome place! Simple food made to taste fantastic through a combination of pride in their work, quality ingredients and excellent service. The place was full to overflowing but there was no sign of stress or pressure....just smiles all round.

T.Great pizza. The place is usually packed solid and its a no bookings policy. But if you have to wait, it's worth it. You get packed in like a sardine so if you don't like that maybe avoid, but I find it a fun part of the whole dining experience. A must visit in my opinion.

S.Such a happy informal and fun eatery. There was a large group of us who needed feeding and wining in a relatively short space of time. We are delicious pizza and made it to out flash mob venue with 15 minutes to spare. Thank you Pipi Café.

G.I so love what Pipi is about and how welcome you feel as soon as you walk in, it's like you own it, like it's your place. Alex and the great staff are fantastic, food to die for, atmosphere that just soaks into you and I love how family orientated it is, very happy memories each and every time we have been there. They also have the Pip Truck which turns up all over Hawke's Bay and New Zealand as well as your place if you so desire and their pizzas are the best.
B.Came here the other night just for hot drinks. Some of the friendliest service I've ever experienced, and they turned on the outdoor heater just for the two of us. And the drinks were great value - got about two cups of hot chocolate and three cups of pomegranate tea out of each teapot!

D.One of my highlights in the Hawkes Bay. If you haven't been, you must go. A cosy pizza place with so much character. The pizzas are absolutely amazing. It can get busy and you can't book a table so get down put your name on the list and then head across the road for a drink at the bar. Inside poetry shared tables and a romantic atmosphere set the stage for the best pizzas

Operation extremely friendly, small good card with a separate card with varying specials.
The pizzas were delicious. Choose from 3 sizes small, medium and large. We were very hungry so both ordered a large. These were actually too large. But completely eaten because it was so incredibly tasty.
By the entire ambiance and quality, definitely recommended.

Bediening uiterst vriendelijk, kleine goede kaart met een losse kaart met afwisselende specials.
De pizza's waren overheerlijk. Keuze uit 3 maten small, medium en large. We hadden grote honger dus allebei een large besteld. Deze waren eigelijk té groot. Maar helemaal opgegeten omdat het zo ontzettend lekker was.
Door de gehele ambiance en de kwaliteit, zeker aan te raden.
