Hawera has a young lady on the counter who is polite, with a beautiful personality as you go up to the counter it's the second time myself and hubby have travel from eltham to hawera to buy our tea from KFC and she was the same girl whom served me and I couldn't believe the serve with a smile she gave to myself and other customers before I approached the counter. She is very fast and so accurate in her possession I'll would recommend this young lady a worker of the KFC company in Hawera. That wish to thank her so much by letting you know how proud I am to have been severed by this lady, I can't remember her as I did look a her badge but just can't remember her name, I think I started with a N or maybe a I not sure.

Lots of parking, but walking to the restaurant dodging cars entering and queuing in the drive-thru was not easy. Social distancing spots for queuing and waiting are marked on the floor. Menu is well displayed above the counter. Signs on the tables inform customers that the dine-in area is closed due to Covid restrictions. The staff member behind the counter was friendly and helpful, personable service to each as we stepped forward, not just a number.

Good and hot food. Friendly and polite staff. Well done.

The chicken is crunchy, tender on the inside and the seasoning is great. I love it. Thank you

Drive thru - forgot items in order Go here and they've got no chicken. Wicked wings or original rep.

Best service from a KFC I have ever had... Consistently each time I call in over the last 10+ years. Fast service (unusual for a KFC) and piping hot food. In, order, eat, out in 16minutes.

The food itself just the same as any other KFC. This branch usually runs out of cole slaw 2 days b4 new orders gets delivered. Service not too bad but can be better.

Sometimes you just can't drive passed. hot wings mmmhhh

Very friendly workers, and one of the few KFCs that didnt mess up any order I've made here so far.

Every time I go here, the food is greasy, wasn't bad this time. They left out the potato and gravy from my order, and I ended up with a small coleslaw after ordering a regular.

KFC Hawera is much like most things in Hawera, that is they are in Hawera. I went to this KFC and the person serving me had a smile, so straight away I was concerned. Turned out she was a nice human. Also turned out she got me a yummy burger. They also have parking (for your cars) but (and I wish I had known this) you dont need to bring your own chicken. They have it there!! and its mostly cooked too. Well done Mr KFC, well done

Service ok. Chicken tasted as though it had been in warmer for ages. . Chips- discussting, too salty soft and broken.if I lived closer would have returned. Disappointing Hawera KFC.

The staff member we had was down to earth, and politely listen to our order, and offered chilled water when we declined the fizzy part of packs. The order was handled quickly, and the dining area was clean and tidy. Overall 10 out of 10 from me.

Chicken always cooked to perfection,would get 5 stars but was only allowed to order,1 order per car thru drive thru

Everything is fine and very well. But I have seen KFC's customer service but here little bit disappointment. That is it. And that's why I'm giving 4 stars..

The chicken was small. Not outlets fault but not a fat enough chicken. Piece and Berger pattie were not hot, warm but not hot or crispy. Clean & fast polite but no smiles

We got KFC for dinner at work, order was accurate and delivered quickly, and tasted great.

I've searched for many years looking for a man that satisfys my needs and that's when I found the colonel, the feed he puts on is spectacular, the speed at which the food is produced is rather slow but you can't rush perfection, highly rate thanks hdub

Counter service was very slow at 12.10pm today. Not helpful with only one till being used inside the store, at this busy time.

Oh my God, how much slower can the frount counter work in this place, it's the third time in this place trying to get chicken where I've waited more than 15 minutes while watching cars flying through the drive threw. I'm sure they put one trainee on the counter with very little experience..........

Food was yum, drive throu service the cashier needs a lesson in service. Asked if i was able to add a coleslaw .....3 times and just tottally ignorned me didnt give a dam attitude. If you dont want to sell food go here

Apparently they stop cooking chicken by 9:15 but stay open until 10, so if you come late good luck getting chicken, they were all sold out of chicken by 9:30 tonight

Got dinner at 7pm tonight and it was really good! Best KFC I have had for year's. Keep it up to that standard guys! 👍

Great place. Haven't had kfc this good in a long time. Got it take away, everything was hot and crispy. Order got done in a short time, good friendly staff. Would definitely come back again.

It's OK.. Staff take a while & no staff that I have seen, have people skills. I guess they see that they don't really need to up their game. Maybe their sales are good enough.

It's a k fry. Staffs good. Foods good. Place is clean and the location is good whether you're passing through or local.

Like most KFCs, the tables could be cleaner and the toilet floor was covered with pee.

Easy for a quick meal

Its okay as far as kfc's go, but if doing drive thru, check tour.order is correct. Oh and dont hold your breath for salt on the chips , veey hit and miss on that one.

Went last Thursday contactless pickup and the potato and gravy large was nice and hot with lots of gravy and nice coke.

Hawera KFC is by far and wide the best KFC in New Zealand, i travel weekly from Wanganui just to dine in this fine establishment and sometimes to treat the middy

Friendly staff , but the few times I have been there is no eftpos in drive through or have run out of chicken

Quite often the tables need clearing. Chips usually half cold, chicken pieces are small, only thing that I really enjoy is the wicked wings
