P.A wonderful dining experience. The food was deliciousssssssssssss.
We had half & half pizza - Blue Balyu and Greenpiece. And Kiwi Carbonara pasta. Tasty and big portions.
D.Had their whitebait pizza signature dish. Absolutely delicious, with a crisp base, mozzarella, whitebait, capers, parsley & lemon wedges. Busy, even though it was a Wednesday night in September. Great decor. Had to wait quite a while for 1 pizza, but they were going as fast as they could. Nice fresh garden salad too. Worth a visit.
b.Fantastic pizza! Even though it was very busy the orders came out in a reasonable time. Staff could've been friendlier but certainly no complaints.
Only quibble was the plates we're not totally clean from the self serve area.

A.A great pizza highly recommended had chicken, meat and vegetarian options which were great. Garlic bread was delicious but a very small serving.
G.It is a popular place both for take out and eat in. For eat in order at the counter, get a number and they bring it to you when it’s ready. You help yourself to cutlery, napkins and water. They take credit cards but with a surcharge. They have a large selection of pizza varieties. Many are creative in their ingredient combinations. The pizzas come in two sizes medium ($22) and large ($28). The large is a good size for two people. Large pizzas can be ordered with halves of two different types for $32.
We got the mariner which has a variety of seafood- shrimp, mussels, smoked salmon and fish along with capers and red onions and the Greenpiece vegetarian pizza which has a good amount of various vegetables (mushrooms, spinach, olives, zucchini and red onion) and roasted red pepper pesto along with feta cheese over the mozzarella. It was tasty.
Their salad is very good and recommended.
Beside the indoor tables, there is covered outdoor seating at picnic type tables.
They have dried hot peppers and black pepper to add to your pizza but unfortunately no powdered garlic or oregano (which are standard in pizzerias back in New York City where I come from).
T.The pizza is nice. One of the best I ever tried even compared to other countries. The specialty is the whitebait pizza it taste good even to a person who is Not really a fan of white bait. Ordered Bbq chicken, tomato soup and whitebait. All did not disappoint. The coffee is great.
N.Sauce-full pizzas. They have good based where it’s very crispy when it’s served hot and not too thick. However, it’s just full with sauce which you can’t taste the meat much after a while. Still enjoyable though.
The place has outdoor seating that’s link to the beach walkway. Nice atmosphere with lots of tree and flowers.

Indeed, I almost forgot how much money we paid for it. But the pizza is one of the must-do-lists in NZ you have try.
Besides, the smart tip is after you order the pizza, you can walk to the hokitika landmark to take some beautiful photos, then go back to take out the pizza!!! Nice Job!!!

I see some people here write about long waiting times, but that is unjust. They are just a really popular pizza place. Anyway, the pizzas are worth the wait!

The T-rex was a bit lacking in flavor, we asked for the chicken lick'n without mushrooms but it came loaded with mushrooms! Apart from the mushrooms It had good flavours. Was ok but wouldn't consider it good value for money
K.After a quick cursory look around we ended here and this was one of the best gourmet pizza that we had in New Zealand. The chicken lick in pizza was oozing with cheese and was tasteful. Not to forget the outdoor ambience with the hokitika beach backdrop.

M.Best GF pizza base I've ever had (including my own)! Topping was tasty too even though it wasn't what we ordered 🤷♀️...cranking on Easter Friday and the staff were lovely...highly recommend, super family friendly, plenty of covered outdoor seating and bonus photo op as the garden leads on to the beach and the West Coast famous Hokitika driftwood sign!

I think we were served by the owner, as she seemed hyperaware (while we were ordering) of everything going on around her in the shop but not so concerned with us at the counter. Was a bit strange, actually.
The pizza itself was pretty decent if you know what you're expecting. Not the best we've had (and not the best ingredients) but far from the worst.
Given the dearth of good food in the area, you'll likely be pretty satisfied with choosing this place, but it's nothing special.
Shout out to the younger guy running orders around—he was super nice! Good lad.

Although if you prefer tomato and cheese then go for one of their many other pizzas as this is an egg and white sauce base. A little expensive for what your getting but lovely staff and place to eat

C.We came across Fat Pipis Pizzas by accident. We, as vegetarians, were overjoyed to find a choice of 6 vegetarian options. Pizza was great, and the outdoor seating is totally amazing. This area has a fantastic atmosphere and leads straight into the beach. Highly recommended.

v.Cosy place with nice pub-style garden on the back, adjacent to the beach. The pizzas have nothing to do with proper Italian pizzas; they remind me more of a thin version of Pizza Hut pizza. However, locals seem to like them since there was a waiting time of an hour to eat, even for take away.
A.They provided the goods - which was some really great pizzas! Wait for food at the time was approx 40mins, however it was well worth it. Wish we could have tried some more options as they all looked pretty damn tasty🤤

The pizza tasted bland and the outdoor garden is a nice garden. They did make my wife a vegan pizza.
A.This is a cool little resturant right beside the crashing waves of the Tasman Sea. The beer garden is pretty epic.
The pizza itself was really good Italian style and perfect for the warm evening with a few beers.
