C.Best Butter Chicken in Southland!!! I ordered a "chefs hot" curry and a mango mild curry from A.R Indian and it was THE BEST curry in town! I was very impressed with the bold authentic flavours in both the meat and the sauce. I also ordered Garlic Naan which was delicious full of flavour and the size of the naan bread was perfect!! I have found my new favourite place to order a Curry.. The service was fast and friendly with a complimentary Popdom while I waited Thank you A.R Indian Well-done!!
M.Best Naan Bread & Chicken Madras in town. I'm here regularly, only once we had an incident with the lid not staying on a Dahl dish . I let them know and the owners insisted on giving us a complimentary dish next time. They even reminded me!

a.The way you want, they will get it ready for you, delicious food, awesome quality and taste. Some people say it's a bit far from city centre, but I think, if they have the taste alongwith superb food quality, then I will go no other place but AR Indian Restaurant. This place is good for singles, couples and a very good place for families. You will get an awesome environment inside because the service from them is a 5 - star hotel category one.

O.One of the best place to have appetizers and main course in Invercargil.Tried the tandoori prawns and it was heavenly followed by Lamb Rogan Josh and some cheese and garlic Naan.The naan served here at made in an authentic way as compared to other Indian restaurants in the town.

S.Giving 4stars because the service was slow. Staff didn't came back to check out our experience with food. No smiles to start with.
Food wise would give 5+ stars to vegetarian meals. Waited for desert, which never came. Mango lassi was delicious. ( bit too sweet for me, will ask for less sugar next time but my daughter loved it). Malai kofta could be better it was worth 3 stars compared to other restaurants i have eaten in. Paneer chili was delicious, reminded me of the marriage functions, we used to eat this snack. Was worth the spending. Will definitely visit again. Good luck for getting better at service and please keep serving the delicious meals.

s.5 stars for a reason. Decor is dated but the classic recipe are sure not! Made to order dishes, just call up and ask. biryani is the winner. Easily the best Indian in Invercargill. Best kept secret in Invercargill's growing culinary seen.

Service terrible. Needs more staff and please treat all your customers the same. Very annoying when you have been waiting ages for your takeaways and in walk some of your regular customers and you treat them with the red carpet treatment meanwhile your loyal takeaway customers are ignored and have to wait twice as long!
