This place is great! The man running the restaurant was so kind to us and offered suggestions for best dishes. He even let us dine in even though they were closing in 20 minutes. We had the lunch special - curry, rice, and a drink for $10. Also ordered some naan. Curry and naan was hot, freshly made and very delicious. Chicken was more tender than the lamb, but both were good. We loved our experience here and would be happy to return again.

Beautiful butter chicken however I got a large to share with my daughter and were lucky to find 5 bits of chicken...left with almost a full container of just sauce.

This is our go-to when craving curry, always pleased with the consistent delicious quality of meals! Dinner special price for two is great and the waiters are always polite. The decor is nothing fancy but who needs that when the meals are always spot on!

The place was buzzing for takeaway if we had not checked their address again would have ended at another Curry Guru at Tweed Street. We ordered Paneer Butter Masala and Dal Makhani unfortunately both tasted the same. The butter and garlic naans were too good. The girl managing the takeaway orders and the restaurant was too quick and her service with a smile compensated the average curries we got. Unfortunately our preferred food Dosa and Uttahappam were being served for lunch only since it’s relatively free compared to evening’s pickup, so some other time

Good Curry's in a hurry. I ordered takeaway. Reasonable amounts for the price paid. Service: the fella was pleasant and the women equally so. The cheese & garlic naan bread was great. I'd be more than happy to return here.

A nice filling delicious South Indian dinner to compliment Sunday evening. The restaurant did full justice to a hearty dinner. Great service by courteous folks. Masala Dosa with sambhar and different chutney all together has really taste of Indian food with good spices flavour. Best South Indian food we have had in Invercargill. I wish they could do some weekly meals for people who busy in working and make their life easier. Definitely coming back.

I really experienced the typical Indian food mainly the South Indian Biriyani last week. Me and my family ordered 2 chicken biriyani and one vegetable biriyani and some naan breads, we really enjoyed a lot our food mainly the veg and chicken biriyani. Good value for money but the sauce needs improvement. Rather than filling the container they should focus on quality.

Had take away, two different curries. Ok but had better. The curry seemed more like lumps of meat in curry gravy. Other curries elsewhere have more texture to the sauce, more bits (onion, pepper, tomato, whatever) in it - this was more like it had been run through a blender. Tasted great and the prices were not bad and would use them again.
