Amazing food! Small town vibes, but not a "from the freezer to the table" style food! Brilliant! Salad bar was a great add-on! If we come back, will def revisit!!

We had such a great experience at this place! The staff were really friendly and kind from the start. We had a bit of an issue with our meal and they offered us a discount and gave us both free drinks! The food was great and if we're ever back up that way, we'd visit again for sure.

Great place to eat. I would have given 5 stars except we weren't told until after we made our selections that many things on the menu were not available at lunchtime. We then had to choose something else. Maybe a lunchtime menu and a dinnertime menu might be better.

I visited this spot during my Northland trip. We were welcomed by a very friendly staff. I must say, the interiors are great and the ambience was good. The food was amazing and so was the presentation. We had Oysters which was extremely good! Their Salad table had various salad options. My banana ice cream was also yummy. They also had some decent selection of wines. Would definitely visit this place again in my next Northland trip and would highly recommend! Cheers

We had a table for three in the evening. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food arrived very fast and was excellent. The portion sizes were larger than usual for food of such high standard, which we greatly appreciated. The self serving salad bar was great, too, as everyone was able to create their own starter of choice. We'll gladly go again in the future.

In order to give the most accurate and most informative Google Reviews, I am one of the few Google Reviewers that judges my reviews on the following 6 points. 1. Service; The service is friendly, personable and quick in this Restaurant. They also have a cocktail bar next to the Restaurant where you and your friends and family can enjoy a beer, wine, bubbles or one of their signature cocktails before dinner, or even after dinner. I think the staff went out of their way to make sure my experience was memorable, personable - and due to the time I left, the Bar Manager gave me a lift to my accommodation. Extraordinary care and service in my opinion-and saved me on getting a cab or uber! 2. Coffee/drinks; The cafe'has a wide range of signature cocktails created by the bar staff, I tried the Cosmo, my favourite and also one of the signature cocktails by the staff - all were good and refreshing. I did not have a coffee on this occasion, so I won't rate them on the coffee, just their wine, cocktails etc. 3. Food; I had the roast with vegetables, which was scrumptious, cooked to perfection and delivered within a good time frame. For dessert, I had the apple pie with cream and ice cream -because I was on holiday. This was also delicious, warm and the pie was home-made! 4. Vibe; The diners were all local, and on this occasion, I enjoyed my meal with a friendly elderly local from town, who was dinning alone. The Restaurant has a friendly, welcoming and chilled vibe, servicing the locals and out-of-towners (like me). 5. Cleanliness - all tables were clean, the environment looked well looked after and the amenities that I used were clean and well stocked with supplies etc. 6. Point of difference; The Service, their cocktail menu, their care for the safety and enjoyment of their diners and customers, the food and dessert - Kaitaia is on the map due to this Restaurant. Based on all of the above points – I give this cute place in a small town in Kaitaia New Zealand a 5 out of 5! I will be back!!

went there with 7 of us together, expected to be busy there, but hardly anyone so lucky we order and food came very quick. Nice salad, great home made Mayonnaise, Oyster very fresh. I thought Pasta is not much in the bowl, but very filling. We are all happy. Would go back.

If you like a salad bar then you'll love this! Help yourself and refill at your desire. Such a range and everything is fresh and top quality. Seafood is primo. Mains are a little bit expensive but you can have 5, 6, 7 servings of salad bar so who cares
