K.Nice food and the lady at the reception is nice. She took our order even though they are busy with other big order. It was helpful for us because everything was close at that time. Thank you so much 🙏👏
A.Coming from Auckland, we didn't consider practically everything in Kaitaia closes around 9. We needed to get dinner last-minute (10-15 minutes before they closed) and the manager Amit was VERY helpful & accommodating - confirmed our order for takeaway, had the staff stay longer & prepare what was possible, apologized for the outspoken chef (which I didn't mind; we were late, not their problem), talk to them about customer service... was pleasant to speak to.
The food was all fresh - the Butter Na'an & Chicken Tikka Masala were absolutely AWESOME but the Biryanis weren't exactly your typical Biryanis... plus, their Medium spice actually gets a lot of chilli, specifically in the Biryani it seems like... especially due to the lack of Raitha, which didn't help in our case. However, they were appreciable quantities for the reasonable prices and even in all the hurry, they didn't forget the plastic cutlery & tissues.
All in all, though, a positive experience and I'd definitely recommend this place... if we're ever back, we'd like to dine-in as everything seemed very comfortable, looked welcoming & appealing and had a really good atmosphere.

B.There was no-one there when we entered😿 but it was five, once it was around six fifteen other people came in😺. The food was super good😸, some of the cups and plates were a bit dirty though🙀 and I found an eye-lash on the side of the plate. 🙀🙀
R.Beautiful food, we had the Butter Chicken, my wife’s favourite, and she declared it the best she had had. I had it as well, and I have to agree. It’s a small intimate restaurant, with a friendly touch. Would definitely eat here again if we are back this way.
S.We stopped over at this restaurant to buy some chai (tea). Although it was not on the menu, the staff was courteous to make it for us. We ended up ordering some veggie pakoras (Veggies encased in gram flour) dish.
The tea was amazing and so were the pakoras. Good experience!
K.Always love their food and hospitality. Sad they are usually shut on Friday afternoon from their lunchtime opening till 4.30pm as some off us out of towners like to take their good food home 😁
P.The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious. A huge variety of dishes available. I often had Indian food and it all tastes the same. But at the Copper Chimney every dish has its own character and flavor. Also does take away. Portions are big.
I.The food was amazing and the service was great too. The food didn't take long to arrive either, which is a big bonus! The butter chicken and the naan are extremely tasty and I recommend that anyone in or around the kaitaia area goes.
k.One of the best Madras curries I have had and the wife's butter chicken was exceptional. We are from Vancouver and have had curries in Scotland, Europe and various places in Canada and this is definitely top 3. We will not rank so we do not upset our other favourite restaurants
A.Live in Melbourne, Australia. Came here for a holiday and saw this average looking indian restaurant. Thought there would be average food too BUT holy smokes once the first piece of food went in my food. It was probably the best food I've ever tasted in an Indian restautant. Would definitely recommend. Really really delicious.
K.My first time coming here for dinner with my friends. It was amazing! The staff was so friendly and the food was amazing! If you go here I recommend that you try the chicken Korma, it is one of the amazing dishes you can eat here at Saanchi's Copper Chimney.

D.First time visit.... First impression as I walked in the door was great, nice tables with clean white tablecloths, very clean and modern looking. I was grabbing a take out so i was straight up to the counter where I received a friendly happy greeting my order was all ready to go. Got home first thing no leaking containers awesome, all dishes filled to the max, good portion of chicken in each, we had butter chicken, tika masala, naan & samosa's all items were beautiful. I would note that mild is exactly that, great for the kids, medium was only just spicy so if you like your curry spicy make sure you tell them.... in my case I don't so it was perfect.... big thanks to the copper chimney team.... see you next Friday ☺
a.I was at this place tonight with my family. We our on road trip from Masterton to Cape Reinga. We had our stops in Napier, Taupo, Hamilton, Rotourua, Auckland, Pahia and Kaitaia. I must recommend this place to all the Indian food lovers. So far the best Indian food I had during my road Trip.
I think if someone doesn't like food from this restaurant, they really don't know anything about Indian cuisine.
Best part is the food is reasonably cheap when compared to the quality served.
