X.It is overrated with 4.6.I would say 4.0 is appropriate rate. The restaurant doesn’t have a big space but the food is delicious. I ordered lamb vindaloo with rice. Rice isn’t basmati just normal rice. I like the curry,saved my hungry tummy.I shared it with my husband,cannot eat it all by myself. They are in large amount.
L.Food is good and quick gave it a 3 star purely for the price abit expensive, for 1 small rice 1 medium curry with meat chicken ect and 1 naan was $21.50. Curry is full of sugar as well.
W.I would like to suggest this restaurant to each Indian food lover for Delicious Indian food in Kaitaia . Their own style of serving food is simply special. We are more than pleased by the behavior and attentiveness of their staffs.
R.I've tried many Indian restaurants but Mani's is hands down the best butter chicken I've ever had. The tomato gravy is the right amount of sweetness and the rice is perfect. Not too dry like most places I've been to. Highly recommended!!

My mother in law ordered the Fried Rice & the Sweet & Sour Pork.
Butter Chicken:
Was soooo good. Creamy & not to sweet. & the rice was cooked to perfection. Light & fluffy. Was also a really good serving. Fed me, my 2yr old daughter & my 9yr old son with some left over. The garlic & cheese naan was also yummy. Right amount of cheese & garlic. Nice and crispy.
Fried Rice:
Was ok. A little bland and way to much mixed vege.
Sweet & Sour Pork:
Was really really good. One of the best ove ever had. Pork was cooked well & the batter was also very crispy. The sauce was just amazing and topped the dish off very well.
Deffs go back of we are ever in Kaitaia again. Awesome experience.

G.This is by far the BEST Indian AND Chinese Takeaways in Kaitaia! Definitely reccomend this place!!! My family and I have literally tried every food place here in Kaitaia and this is the only place where we eat and never get sick of! Its that good we HAVE to eat from there at least once a week lol.

Try this shop and you will be amazed with the taste. This is a takeaway shop and has 6 seats, which allows you to have yummy hot indian food. It has public parking space available right infront of the shop as it is located in the commerce street. This shop closes around 2100, you can order your food till 2030.must appreciate the customer service too, friendly staff. Good place to have tasty Indian food.
M.Amazing value. I just picked up a lamb stuffed Nan, a vege dish, buttered chicken and rice. Tasted great AND all for $23!! Back home down south this would have been double the price and not as good. Thanks so much
