Great pizza! Ordered a prosciutto pizza with extra prosciutto, chilly oil, and olives and boy did they deliver. Best pizza I've had in the Hutt. Love the chilly oil! Very nice. Their other pizza were nice too.

Used to love Pepes years ago, was a pretty regular customer back in the day, it went downhill IMHO and had not eaten there for a few years due to a couple of bad experiences. Well I tried it again a couple of months ago and it's back to its former glory. Pizza is awesome and staff have been great. I think I have had it 8 times in 2 months (i know right!) and has been great every time, such good pizza!

Pizza was delicious but if staff serve with smile.. that will be pleasant and also glasses weren't cleaned properly. We would like to try again as they are locals and we support locals.

Best Pizza in Hutt or I would say in Wellington. We enjoy each slice of the Pizza. Berry pizza one of the best I had ever...love the white choco and berry test.. Gourmet meat lover tast great.. Good service over the counter. Recommend place to visit. Good job Pepes Pizza Parlour..

The best Pizza in town. Bases are all handmade on demand. Can dine in here too and make it a great evening. Try the dessert pizzas, you'll fall in love. Sent an order for delivery, they arrived early. These pizzas are amazing.

The pizzas were delicious! The only comment I will add is the time difference between my friends getting their food and by the time my food arrived, they had almost finished eating. But the quality of the food was high :-)

There is literally no better place in Lower Hutt to get Pizza. The Pizzas are delicious with gourmet fresh flavors. The team are so friendly we absolutely love dining in as it gives you a bit of a chance to view them flipping the homemade pizza bases 🍕

We just got takeaway pizza , it was absolutely excellent. The chef was by himself and obviously very busy, but the food was at the highest standard. The curly fries were some of the best I have ever had. Will definitely be coming back.

All choice of pizzas, and special extras that are all served with amazing style, thin-crust pizza with delicious toppings and sides. Best that makes Pepes different from others is the "Create Your Own" topping option available. We had Gourmet Meat Lover & Garlic is the best but sure I will try one of each my every visit. Perfectly cook and topped. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended if you are craving a good pizza in HUTT! Worth of money $$$$ Recommend to visit and test.

Dined in a few weeks ago and had a very tasty pizza with chicken and apricot sauce/pieces of apricot. Plenty of toppings. Fries were OK could be cooked more. Friendly staff. I will be back to try more.

We went there after a while with some friends of ours who had been going to the place since childhood. Experience - Since they had new staff over the holiday period the service suffered and one of our order was never prepared and only got delivered after an hour when we enquired. Hope it gets fixed once they resume normal hours. Food - The vegetarian pizza was quite with chilli oil on the top which was a nice addition. Starter options were Ok, could have been good to have more flavours.

🍕One of our must go to pizza shops in Lower Hutt🍕 Body responds 'remarkably well' to overeating 🍕Pizza The study asked participants to eat 🍕Pizza until they 'could not #eat another Bite'. A new study has found that the Body responds "remarkably well" to the overindulgence of 🍕Pizza. It found that #healthy #humans can eat twice as much as they need to feel "full" with no immediate effects of losing metabolic control. Researchers with the Centre for Nutrition, Exercise and Metabolism at the University of Bath trialled two groups of men to test their responses to overeating One on occasion, participants were asked to eat 🍕Pizza until they were comfortably full, on the other, participants were asked to eat until they "could not eat another bite". They found the young, healthy men (aged 22-37) who consumed twice as much Pizza🍕 as usual managed to keep the amount of nutrients in the bloodstream within normal range. Lead researcher Aaron Hengist said that though there is known to be long-term risks with over-eating high-calorie foods, there are no immediate short-term negative effects. "We all know the long-term risks of over indulgence with food when it comes to obesity, type II diabetes and cardiovascular disease, but we know much less about some of the immediate effects 'all you can eat places on the body." "Our findings show that the body actually copes remarkably well when faced with a massive and sudden calorie excess. "Healthy humans can eat twice as much as 'full' and deal effectively with this huge initial energy surplus." Participants ate on average 3000 kcal of 🍕Pizza in one sitting, roughly one-and-a-half large 🍕Pizzas. Some individuals consumed up to two-and-a-half large 🍕Pizzas, until they couldn't eat any more. The results looked at the metabolic, endocrine, appetite and mood responses to the consumption of 🍕Pizza. After eating until they 'could not eat another bite': blood sugar (glucose) levels were no higher than after a normal meal the amount of insulin in the blood was 50 percent higher than normal (this hormone is released by the body to control blood sugar levels) blood lipids (triglycerides and non-esterified fatty acids) were only slightly higher, despite consuming twice as much fat participants felt sleepy / lethargic participants reported no desire to eat anything else four hours after the trial, including sweet foods. Prof James Betts, who oversaw the work, said that our bodies are able to "efficiently" store the dietary nutrients of the huge meal and that there are "no immediate negative consequences" in terms of losing metabolic control. "The main problem with overeating is that it adds more stored energy to our bodies (in the form of fat), which can culminate in obesity if you overeat day after day". The research was published in the British Journal of Nutrition.
