The best fish n chips in the Far North, service brilliant, cost amazing and they even brought it into the tavern for us next door. The best birthday feed ever. Would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Doubtless bay

We are here on holiday at our Bach. The food was beautiful! Perfectly cooked! Fish burger was fresh, using fresh lettuce! I'm gluten-free and they kept my fish separate, cooked on the grill. Awesome work ladies.

Originally came for hoki and after seeing the price for one piece, I assumed they were fresh. However they are frozen, so we opted for burgers. The burgers and chips were nice and there were a ton of patrons waiting for orders. I thought the pricing was definitely on the steep side.

The hoki was cooked to perfection and the food was well presented. The batter was crispy and the chips were a great golden colour. Definitely worth detouring here on the way to Kerikeri to have a feast ☺

Really nice discovery. I really enjoyed the fish and chips. People are kind. The restaurant is not very fancy (on the inside) but the outside is really cool. Also the old school architecture of the hotel is a plus.

The best! Miles better than that other place along the road. The $22 special is enough for 3 people, and it's so yummy! And the staff are cheerful and friendly!
