S.Pretty much the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. The snapper is simply delicious and legit double dipped chips that aren't soggy. Yes will come back again. The friendly staff had our dinner ready in a record 2mins and they delivered quality.
M.Totally yummy! Wanted to try the Matakana local fish and chips while visiting- wow amazing! Family had fish burgers - fish pan cooked was just so tasty , nicest chips I had eaten for years and the tastiest salt and pepper squid plus a side of coleslaw. Thrilled we found these guys in Matakana !
M.Thumbs up to the staff and service but the price for the portion size was a let down ($17.50 for a small piece of snapper and a scoop of chips). You also have to pay extra for condiments which again are priced very high.
L.Delicious fish and chips. Nice large portion of chips. Have had the extra bit of fish added in as well. Partner loves adding sauces to the fish but this was so fresh and tasty he didn't bother.
L.Burger was delicious although I couldn't justify spending 15$ on something so small. Fries were cheap but aggressively mediocre.(edit) Chips are decent now and the burgers are bigger and really nice.

D.Really good food. Fresh fish and the portions were well above what I expected. Staff were friendly and they got us our food (a large order) exceptionally fast. It tastes like they change their oil frequently as well. So good.
They also offered a garden salad which I enjoyed too. Will definitely buy from here again.
