Oh my!!! The smell was the amazing first impression and then each mouthful was heavenly! Best pizza we’ve had, not just in the mount but in NZ! Thank you - this will be our new holiday treat. Tip. Get your orders in early as these pizzas are well sought after Tony and Heidi new Pizzaroma fans

You have to try PIZZAROMA! I don't normally write reviews but when somethings this good, you have to! The smell alone deserves 5 stars. And to top it off the peanut butter dessert was insanely delicious too...

Very authentic original Italian Pizza, came here twice, cos it was super delicious. Tiramisu was also super delicious. I would eat these pizza every day if I could, unfortunately I was just two days in Maunganui, but if I ever coming back, my first stop would definitely Pizzaroma. Awesome Pizza, that is really rarely in NZ, Highly recommended place!!!

Wow! This place does amazing pizzas. The pizza bases are perfect, the right amount of crispy on the bottom and the dough doesn't leave you feeling bloated. Toppings are just as good with the exact right ratios, so you taste every ingredient. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm at the Mount.

Probably one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, and hey, I lived in Italy for about 6 months and almost all I ate was pretty much pizza. I’d give it 6 stars if I could, 5 doesn’t seem to make justice. I’ll be definitely coming back every chance I get.

Forget every Pizza you’ve ever had... and get ALL your Pizza at the Mount from here. This quite honestly is the greatest Pizza I have ever eaten. Order early and give them as much time as you can to create the greatest Pizza you’ll ever eat.

So surprised to find this kind of pizza in New Zealand. I am Italian too (as the owner), I found this lovely place (plus: all the area around is breathtaking), but never thought to enjoy the food in this way. It was really appreciated because is so rare to eat an authentic product like this outside Italy. Thanks again to all the staff. I will come back soon. :)

So excited we found this authentic Italian pizza place! Owners are super friendly and the food is outstanding. Great authentic flavour combinations! Warning: You might never be able to eat westernised pizza again after trying their authentic Italian pizza!!

Seriously great food. Seriously nice people. The lasagna, perfectly balanced ragu and cheese. Butter knife tender. Don't miss it. We also had the Gigi, prosciutto and pecorino cheese pizza. The base sensational generous toppings. Hands down best lasagna and pizza I've ever ever eaten. Eaten pizza in Naples and this is better.

Awesome pizzas - superb base! We hadn't had a chance to eat here since Xmas - then came lockdown and as we moved into level 3 we wanted to support local.We eat and make to eat, a reasonable amount of Pizza each fortnight - but I have to say these are now our gold standard. Italian owners, their main ingredient (flour) is imported from italy, their pizza ovens and other appliances are made in Italy... What else should I say? This is an amazing, crunchy, tasty, authentic ITALIAN pizza!

This is by far the best Italian pizza you can eat in New Zealand. Well, I am Italian and I can say that this pizza will be top even in Rome! Pizza Parmigiana is my favourite one but also Gorgonzola e Pere and Mortazza deserve to be mentioned! If you are not for carbohydrates, you should try Maiale Arrosto: slow cooked pork shin, simply divine! A place to stop while in Tauranga.

I read the reviews before coming here, and I was impressed before I got through the door by the reviews alone. The girl at the front of house was super friendly and kind. And the pizza was the best I have had in a long time - I had the Gigi, next time I will add some spice but this was amazing! Can’t wait to try more of the menu the base is light and crisp and to be honest absolutely perfection! 10/10 , 5 star no faults what so ever! Perfect :D
