Our first time at Solera for a birthday celebration, certainly won't be our last. Great drinks menu, AMAZING food and an awe inspiring brigade. The food is innovative and interesting but most importantly delicious. Highly recommend sitting at the chef's pass.

Insane food! 🔥 definitely a must if you’re in the Mount. Also was upgraded seats which was the icing of the cake. Service was immaculate! Would highly recommend! 👌🏼

Great ambiance and dining experience! Will definitely come back and try other food on their menu. Sharing plates at a reasonable prices. Offers wine by the glass that usually sells by bottle at other places. Sat at the Chef’s Pass and had a show!

My husband and I went to Solera last night for dinner and we loved everything. The food was incredible, delicious and visually appealing. We actually sat at the bar and it was great to interact with the chefs, watch the process and enjoy the evening. Fantastic wine choice and the wait staff were attentive and informative. Will definately be back. 👍

Outstanding restaurant in the heart of Mt Maunganui. The vibe is cute wine bar that serves cute food, but don't be fooled, these are delicious dishes all washed down with one of the best wine lists I've seen in a while.

Both the chef and the wait staff here are brilliant. Fantastic menu, fantastic service, highly recommended. My only small piece of feedback would be that the soy sauce that is used contains gluten. There are lots of top quality gluten free soya sauces available now which would make more of the menu available for people who are gluten free. This is important as it’s usually the celiacs who decide where the group will eat.

A bit pricey but TOTALLY worth it. We were actually satisfied after eating, unlike other fine dining restaurants. Food is super tasty and fullfiling, don't be a Farid to try something new, you will not be disappointed. 🙂 GREAT place, staff, yummy food and delightful drinks. Everything was perfect. Will certainly go back soon.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience, great ambiance, food, staff and of course beverages! Smoked cauliflower and beef short-rib were highlights. Highly recommend.

I don't know where to start, everything is great about Solera. For the reduced space they have, they've made wonders with it. Nice, inviting, cozy place. Amazing food, mostly cooked over the open fire, designed to share. With a menu that changes according to what's fresh and in season. Most of it is sourced locally. The service is great. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, both front of house and kitchen. And a beautiful, hand-picked wine list for every taste and budget. A must if you're around the Mount! 100% foodie experience.

Great menu of sharing plates and the staff are helpful with a recommendation. The beef tartare small plate and the whitebait individual servings were highlights for sure. Seated at the chefs pass we got to see a lot of the dishes being plated which was great. Only gripe is that the air conditioning was blasting cool dry air which made it a bit chilly but not enough to knock a star off a great meal.

Fantastic place. Food is so interesting and executed so well, flavours were amazing. Love that they have 2 sizes of wine by the glass so you can try a whole lot more!! Great service, will definitely be back.

Easily the best eating experience we've had in the Bay. Creative and intelligent menu. Sharing plate concept so you get to try a variety. The savoury cheesecake dessert is truly inspired.

A wine bar that you must not miss. Food, service and the wine is great. Nice to have a second restaurant in the bay that’s worth frequenting.

Loved the whole experience beginning to end. Also sat at the chef's pass and thoroughly enjoyed watching the magic unfold. This team work seamlessly together to create taste sensations. Oh my goodness seriously amazing. Wine selection was excellent. The food was ridiculous!! So good. The apple and pear tarte tartin was incredible. Ngaa mihi nui.
