A.Wow! What a wonderful place to go! Taken here for a Mothers Day dinner. Waiter was awesome. As for the meals, they are to die for. Would definitely come again. Going to recommend to all my friends and family! My compliments to the Chef!
M.I'll start by saying I loved the food. We were on the fence about going, but drove past and it looks a lot better in person. It was great to see a local restaurant selling so many Hawkes Bay and NZ wines. The food was full of flavor and the portions were of good size (too big according to the people behind us, I reckon better that than going home hungry). Time flew by enjoying our meal and watching the sun set. In the end we were there for over three hours but it barely felt like half that. Very much worth looking past the few rough edges, the meal certainly makes up for them.
C.Alistair is the MF bomb! Seriously! Cannot believe what an amazing dining experience we had with him...twice!
We had to experience Trio Nouveau jazz and swing band on the Thursday. Zero regrets!
Tom in the kitchen is wonderful! I'd love to steal him! His apprentice Billy is also going places! Amazing food!
Must try's are the pork belly, chicken filo and crumbed Camembert!
Just go! You'll thank me later.
