This is a great spot to sit for a couple of drinks, with a great view of the marina. The wine selection is comprehensive. While the Lucy Liu menu promise a range of delights what shows up on the plate looks great but is closer to pub quality than asian fusion restaurant.

Food and service great. Mask wearing with staff was disappointing - lots of noses out or masks missing altogether. Shout out to big bearded beer brewer/drinker/server guy, what an asset to the place - super friendly. Try a local brew, you will love it!

First here in a long time. Food was great. Way more items on the menu than ever before. All the staff were great,very friendly and no negative from this visit.

Friendly service with a great view. Relaxing environment with delicious wood fired pizzas! The Pizzas menu isn’t your average list. They had a delicious duck pizza and Margherita! Great music and sunset views

The wife and I went to Shed 2 on Saturday 28th. First impression was not to good. Then MACY turned up at the table. Macy you're service turned things around. We ordered the Farmers Platter with sides of chips, salad and garlic bread. OMG the food was great. Thanks to Macy and the food should be 4.5 stars. Thursday 20/5/2021 my wife and I returned to Shed 2. Thoughts of been before and would like to enjoy the same food as a year ago. But this was not the case. We had overcooked ribs and beef kababs, dry pork strips and dry chicken strips. The only thing that was the same was the garlic pizza bread. Sorry team as I told our waitress if this was our first visit we would not come back. I've gone from 4.5 stars to 1.5 stars.

Great atmosphere, great scenic port views, various seating areas to accommodate all moods, the servers were helpful and polite, the food was top notch too and we didn't have to wait too long either. We ordered from the Lucy Lu menu and were not disappointed, would definitely return to try some more dishes.

Been there twice now. First time to try Lucy Lu menu. Probably better off going to a Thai restaurant for value. Took an hour for the food to come out & the place was empty. Went back to watch rugby so wasn't in a hurry to eat. This time all the food, appetizers and mains came out at same time after 20 minutes. Raw Tuna dish was tasty. Pork belly skewers were cold and dry. No sauce. Dipped in kewpie mayo that came with tuna. Seafood pasta was tasty and seafood was fresh Had the massam curry again. Now coming with a beef short rib instead of lamb shank. Delicious and served on a massive dish but accompanied by the smallest portion of rice I've ever been served anywhere in the world. Service good but place a bit hit and miss food wise. My review's fanciful? Ok. Didnt have a great experience the first time so gave you guys another try before writing a review. I didn't trash your place like some other reviewers. Great attitude. I'll let the readers make their up own minds.

The food here is a revelation! Great selection of beers and wines. Only taking a star off as the day we visited a lot of the beers weren't actually available. Service was nice and friendly too.

Most of our meals were delicious however we were very disappointed with the seafood platters that were ordered. The food was not drained enough and very greasy. It's not often that the boys can't get through a meal but they struggled to stomach this. Service and atmosphere were lovely.

Four of us booked for dinner but ended up having a disappointing evening. While the staff were friendly the service was slow. We had to ask twice to be served. The resturant was not busy. One meal was only just warm as it came out on a cold plate. Ordered the pork belly and scallops. The pork belly was dry and they forgot the scallops. Overall a disappointing experience.

Took a long time before staff actually got around to taking our order and they generally seemed disinterested. It was not the best setup for a large group being quite cold and crammed but the staff offered to move us later which worked out much better. Food was good once it came out. Probably would change my rating (made my rating before relocation + food) as the staff moved us and the food was descent but the childish word play on my surname below doesn't help either...

We couldn't have had a more perfect night sitting outside this most wonderfully restored shed on West Quay eating dinner over sunset in a maritime environment. Decor is warm and inviting. Menu is great. Staff are very friendly, courteous and polite. We had greenlipped mussels cooked to perfection. Lovely deserts. Very reasonable prices. For those that venture a little down West Quay by foot you will not be disappointed with this iconic gem.

Attended a Birthday celebration here in the Function room and the food was superb. Service was very good and staff attentive. Very good selection of popular and craft beers as well as spirits. Very enjoyable.

Always hard to get a table around the open fire on a miserable winters day. We were lucky to have drinks around the fire last Friday nice way to spend a few hours with friends.

One of the best service experiences I have had in New Zealand. I was in a relatively small spot of bother from an adventurous outdoor afternoon and the team took care and discreetly help me get fixed up and made me comfortable before getting in with our meal. We grabbed an inside table to watch the sun set over the marina beside us and settled in to watch the game on the big screen. Quality food and superstar attentive team!

Atmosphere is lovely, beautiful view watching the sunset during an evening meal. The meal crispy chicken pad see ew was bland and dry. Needed some flavour perhaps more sweet soy. The veges were yummy and overall reminds me of a home cooked meal.

My partner and I aren’t from Napier and was up to visit family and just went into the closest cafe for brunch along the waterfront where we parked. We were delighted to find that the service was excellent from staff, the food and coffee came out amazingly quick considering the amount of people there and the atmosphere with the sun and solo singer/guitarist was lovely. Def would return for more in the future. Thank you :) Dined for brunch 20/04/19.

Not a good RANGE of craft beers... a couple of mainstream ones but also some lagers lumped in with them to make up the ‘range’ :( Shame, they’ve got a big enough bar so could have made a proper go a stocking a range and be THE craft beer bar in Ahuriri...

I was there this evening, I had the lamb rack, very tasty, presented really well, dessert was delicious, most of the servers were excellent bar one, who when I pointed out an error with my dessert was rude, after explaining the error, even starring at me later while I was eating my dessert giving me a filthy looks multiple times, very unprofessional and in need of re training, sadly leaving a sour ending to a great night.
