J.Hardy St Eatery is definitely my new go to breakfast place in Nelson when I stay. Had some avocado on rye with a whole lot of other tasty goodness. I would have to say if you want a good Honey, lemon and ginger this is the spot. Drop in for breakfast you won't be disappointed.

R.What a shame, turned up at 2.07pm to be told the kitchen was closed so they could set up for dinner service. Such a beautiful day for dining in sunny Nelson too. We enjoyed our lunch here so much last time that we thought we would return. Not to be so after 2pm it seems. Very disappointed. Maybe it's a good idea to let customers know your kitchen closes at 2pm? I have amended my 1 star rating as you are correct the food was amazing on our first visit.
L.Fantastic avocado on rye sourdough. With tahini, dukka, amazing Italian tomatoes & basil. So soo good. Best brunch ever. Great coffee too.

R.Hardy St is probably the best eatery in town at the moment. The coffee is totally on point. The donuts are to die for! So good. Not the usual sickly sweet over the top stuff you get in other cafes. They are just absolutely divine. I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered here. The staff are efficient and friendly. Lots of sunny seating indoors & out. Plus a fire for our cooler days. The vibe is relaxed and you never feel hurried.
