I came in on a Friday night around 7.30. Once I got close to the front of the line a man that works there (sorry I forgot his name) was absolutely amazing, and got me in and out so quick. Helped me when I tried and used the self serve, and when I couldn't do what I wanted he helped me get exactly what I wanted at the front counter. I really appreciated it because I know you guys are very busy and I can imagine you guys have better things to do. So keep up the great work, greatly appreciate the amazing customer service.

The staff are good & the food is good but the service is so slow. Maybe its staff shortages, but there is always only one cashier open. Even their new order system is broken down.

Awesome got KFC finally. Yummy 😋🤤. Aucklander mentality though twenty minutes early wait in the drive thru to make sure I was first. Lmfao but the rush must be over down here. The only one in line hahaha 🤣.

Line moved fast for peak hours, food was great, only problem was the drive thru operator not double checking and confirming the order- we ordered 2 Zinger box meals and they were only going to give us one.

Nice, not greasy. I was blessed to receive another drink when I realized I didn't order enough at the pay window and I was politely served. Quarter pack delicious!

Management need to improve their processes to get orders through quicker. Only very limited range of the options they offer are shown on the drive thru digital menu. And customers need to make up their mind what they want before ordering! Some chronic waits at New Plymouth store, even with a few cars in the drive thru.

Great service, fast and friendly. Very clean restaurant too. Staff were very good in clearing and cleaning tables and making sure the bins werent overflowing. Very impressed. We could see why they are a popular option. Nice work KFC New Plymouth!

Often believed that food would take much longer. However they already had the food ready before I even paid. Quick service and relatively friendly staff. Food was also decent. Love the gravy though.

Waited awhile after ordered, 30 plus minutes, tonight. A few impatient, angry people waiting in cars from drive thru orders as well as those inside with me waiting. The ladyt handled the jandel tho. Some of her staff, young males, walking around aimlessly. Got meal, happy with it, move out.

It was awesome super quick service, nice food ,but no signage for exit apart from drive through very confusing still did not solve the riddle and while we sat and eat our nice meal we seen several other people looking for exit out of carpark as well

Went through the Drive Through this time. I'm usually rather nervy when going through the Drive Through but this visit was a breeze. The young person talking to me was extremely patient and very kind. Thumbs up KFC. New Plymouth.

The food is always pretty good and the wait is always pretty long. That seems pretty typical of most KFC locations that I've been to in Taranaki though so shouldn't be surprising.

5stars if they could take orders correctly and faster, waiting at the order box for the car infront of you to recieve their order and leave is abit rookie of a city fast food place 🤣 then the Upsize combo you pay for is forgotten and takes multiple team members to chat to figure out what happened before you get your correct order

The food was great, staff were friendly, but I did discover a strip on latex (glove?) in my burger. The refund was swift and the apology sincere, so I will probably still return at some point when I get over it. Again, I hope to high heaven that this is the freakiest or freak accidents.

KFC well its good. It has its moments, its quite enjoyable to eat but the wait time or the drivethru que just makes it impossible . Some nights you wont be able to drive to the place at all as the drivethru traffic blocks the road so we have too give it a miss multiple times unless you are happy to wait anywhere upto 1hour. Short staffed when i last went but they were super friendly. I will still go there at times when it the correct time of day with minimal wait

Down for a long weekend (Easter) and fortunately this place was open Good Friday. Very busy though, not their fault. Usual yum KFC, friendly team considering the pressure of a long queue.

Getting better with your service use to find that this KFC was really slow with there service wasn't a fast food place more of a Slow service you have the quality but not the quantity need to improve at been a faster service then you be primo KFC

Prompt service and hot delicious food .. but tables needed wiping. They were very busy so I guess no one was available to do the cleaning. Seat also dirty had to wipe it myself. I'd still go back.

I come to KFC some times very week. I come to KFC for the memory of a mum and I came together. Mum has passed away on 6 years next June 23 2020.It good memories of the time we came here for lunch together. It makes me feel good thinking of my Mum.

They are very nice person's. And make feel welcome in KFC. I go to KFC a lot. My Mum and l go to KFC a lot. For our lunchtime. But my Mum have passed-away on the 23/06/2014. I still go to KFC to it is a nice place. I can think of my Mum when l am my eating my food. And I have a nice smile on my face when l am thinking of my Mum. Thank you for good food. And a place I can go and thinking of my Mum. Go and a great meat at KFC New Plymouth.

The drive-through was packed when we arrived about 30 cars in line. We went inside to make our order and we only waited 10 to 15 minutes. Faster servive inside then the drive-through people especially on a Friday night.

So slow for service. No one works quickly which means the drive thru is always 7 cars deep, wait time is approx 20-30 minutes. Even going inside means you have to wait ages.

Repeated my order twice but still got it wrong, as with most KFC’s there’s always a massive wait and it’s only really good if everything is cooked fresh. And yet I still find myself here way too often haha

Can't go wrong with the crowd pleaser but sometimes what you order it ends up not being a crowd pleaser. Often get nice moist tender chickens but more often you end up with dry and over battered pieces. There Krusher machine seems to be breaking down everytime I go through and order one.

KFC NP is always very busy at peak times and this means very long wait times both at the counter and in Drive Thru. It is quite common to wait up to 20 to 30 minutes in the drive thru just to get to the speakerbox to make your order. Then another 5 to 10 minutes before you're at the window. Always check your order as things tend to be missed. Good luck!

Service was at a snails pace, shocking really, queue was out the door only one till was operating. Customers were very irate. 45 mins to be served.

For the best k-fry, try South Auckland. If you are in New Plymouth, this is your only choice. The wait is long, and the food is average. I suggest going just before the lunch time rush. You won't wait as long, and the dining area won't be in a mess.
