K.Totally beatiful would 100 percent recommend.. down was that took an hour to come out to us but that was ok.. it was well worth the rate ... I could of just eaten a bowl of fries just by themswlves they were that goof loved the chips
P.Been drinking Mike’s since the 90s and it’s only got better and better.
Great food (even something for the vegans!) and wonderful staff. I feel comfortable and welcomed here… love this place.
Also, they support worthy community organisations.

M.The food was very nice..Brittany was our waitress she was very good but she was the only one on that day and it started to get busy..we were there at 12.30pm.
r.Staff were attentive and lovely. Food was well presented but sadly some aspects let it down, garlic pizza starter had far too much jared minced garlic, so made it salty and bitter, was not pleasant. Main meals were decent and dessert was delicious, however there was baking paper left on the bottom of the cheesecake.
B.Loved it. Had one of mikes hazy beers, was good. I had the brisket was fantastic, other people at the tables meals looked good to.
f.Great ambience and stellar space. Feels like I'm in a beer garden but indoors. Amazing staff to top it off too.
J.Huge range of good beer from around NZ including Mike's own (oldest "craft brewery" in the country bless him) but staff didn't seem knowledgeable or engaged like their local competition, so fell a bit flat.
k.May I recommend the Melculambicus? Belgian Honey tripel with lambic souring barrel ale. Great friendly service. Would go back if I lived here. Will come back one day.
K.Had date night with my husband. Absolutely loved the meals. Staff were friendly and accommodating and ensured the satisfaction of the customers. Definitely recommended!

M.Good place if you like beer. Lots of choices & you can taste before you buy. Didn't eat so can't comment on the food, but who needs food with all those beers on tap. Good service from the staff, it wasn't busy but they were very pleasant & a nice atmosphere. Worth a visit definitely 👍.

A.Great food, fantastic service, great price and beautiful venue. We enjoyed our delicious smokey chicken and beef burgers that were served with the yummiest chips and aioli. Our hostess was welcoming, friendly and helpful.

J.We stopped by and ate here twice this week. Was a nifty place with great food. We had the pumpkin veggie burger, the Mac and cheese and the pizza. All were very great. Staff were helpful and friendly and we especially liked the couple board games t were there.
Obviously a lush beer menu to choose from however a did not have any drinks while there.
S.My John Dory was over cooked to an extent that I could not finish it. The staff did not ask if there was a problem my meal. The other 3 peoples meals, 2 steaks and a chicken were good.
M.Went to Mike's on our last night of Americarna before heading back to Kaiapoi. We were with a group of 11 and I would have given 5 stars apart from it took an hour for our food to come out. However, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our panfried tarakihi! Perfectly cooked and just melted in my mouth! The staff were great especially young Jasmine who mentioned it was only her second night working there and she fielded a few tricky comments with ease from a couple of people at our table. Will definitely be back next time we are in New Plymouth!

H.Google tracked my location and asked if I would like to leave a review for Mike's Brewery. To be honest the only reason I stepped inside was to take a dump. I must say though, the bathroom was in immaculate shape: sparkling clean, ample choice of stalls, nice little touches such as a selection of colourful hand towels. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Food is well known. Great pizza and 'pub grub' that's good on its own.

R.Been here twice whilst staying in New Plymouth.
They have a wide selection of their own brewery tap craft ales, so you should find something you like. Speaking from an English Real Ale view some of the ones we tried were a bit cloudy and "unusual".
The food menu was OK, but nothing special. We had the sausage & mash, which was nicely presented as good honest pub food.
Overall a nice experience but a bit expensive.

S.Good service from friendly staff. Large selection of beers not only brewed by Mike's but also from around NZ, also had a tasting rack with 4 drinks. From the drinks menu I enjoyed the mango mule, but I also noted they had Mocktails as well 👍.
We chose to go with the haloumi and ciabatta which seemed different and was very tasty with good balance of flavours. For our main we shared the mixed meat plate... forgot to take a photo cause it all looked soo good. Meat was very tender and tasty, ribs fell off their bones. (We would normally be large eaters and felt like this shared was just the right amount).

D.Stopped in for lunch and had the fish burger and my wife had the Kiwi burger. The fish was a couple of crumbed fish sticks that I suspect were from a packet and the Kiwi burger was underwhelming. The redeeming feature was that Mike's beer is up there with the best.

J.Beer was great, nice decor. The DJ was terrible, playing really depressing music on a Saturday night. When we let Mike the owner know he gave us a free round of beer which was much appreciated! It seemed to be the consensus that DJ AL needs to go.

Cooler Brew Bistro, nette Bedienung, sehr gute Bierauswahl (diverse IPa, Weißbier, Pils etc...) aus eigener Herstellung.
Essen war auch sehr gut (ich empfehle das Beef Brisket mit Mac‘n‘Cheese und 2 Fried Eggs) und die Preise sind nicht übertrieben!
