L.Amazing service from Hannah, suggested menu items and kept an eye on our table attentively. Dinner was outstanding! Even accommodated a table next to the door so I could bring my dog. Faultless experience and my new favorite restaurant in New Plymouth. Go here you won't be disappointed.

Good value for the cost of food, basic menu but the combination of foods makes it more complex than I initially thought. Reasonable selection of drinks, cocktails and mocktails.

D.I want to thank our waitress on the night. Had a mix up with our meals, one of our party took my meal and started eating it and then when her meal come out I couldn’t eat it due to food allergies so entirely our fault, the waitress got my meal cooked again very quickly and didn’t charge us for the extra meal. The food was super yummy couldn’t fit dessert in afterwards, too full. Meatballs are a good size. Thank you again, we will be back.

M.Great (?), well at least an interesting idea: for NZ$ 20/25/30 you get 2/3/4 "balls" of minced stuff: meat, seafood, veg &cheese, veg. You add your favourite sauce (bolgnese, carbonara, humus, other (6-8 to choose from). You then select the "base" - rice, noodles, veg (again about 8 options).

Portions are large, food tastes of little. Great idea, just lacking "heart": needs more and more sophisticated spices.

B.Food is so fresh and well prepared. Excellent wait staff. One of our mains was a bit late and they were so sorry and made it complementary and added a dessert. We didn’t even have to complain. That’s what I call a well run restaurant. We will definitely come back to try the other dishes.

P.We often go to Polpetta and alway enjoy the great flavours and the style and charachter of the restauran. Now during lockdown, we decided to try their delivery. Food was excellent as usual, delivered to our door for only a $5 delivery fee...which is cheap for delivery. Really cant wait to go back to the restsurant when we can, but home delivery in the meantime is great. We just phoned in our order, then a payment email came throgh which was very easy to use. Couldnt be easier! Well done AJ and crew.
M.Can't fault the place, everytime I come to New Plymouth I have to dine here. Its unique because you basically create your own meal and they just prepare it perfectly, every time.
C.This place is all about meatballs, including vegetarian "meatballs". You choose your balls, your sauce and your base. I chose beef balls, mushroom sauce and vege zoodles. Delicious! I can also recommend the excellent house made stuffed fresh mushrooms and the chicken wings with blue cheese sauce. They were star dishes for our table. Yummy food combined with great service and a fabulous well made negroni. Recommended for sure
S.Polpetta is an otstanding casual dining restaurant. The menu is the most innovative I've seen in a very long time. You can simply mix & natch your flavour combinations to suit yourself and the dishes excellent. Service is prompt and professional and the prices are more than fair. Get a group together and go - you'll have a great night but you do have to book in advance because they are super popular. It's easy to see why!
S.An exclusive meatball restaurant sounds a little peculiar, but you really have to visit this place. The food is amazing. You get to choose how many meatballs you want, what kind of meatball, what you'd like it served on, and what sauce. Absolutely wonderful.

m.(Translated) Famous for delicious local bowl food! I visited there. The balls can be selected from pork, beef, chicken, and seafood. We ordered a total of four of the three balls. However, only two came. And while waitress is a seafood, it's a mysterious ball that only tastes like a meatball. Even more mysterious is that you have to order a ball and ask for a side menu! Say I have no choice but to ask for spaghetti. However, there was only a little thing on the small plate that did not understand why the noodles were too boiled. So 7NZD is surprisingly high. Many customers were fully booked and staff was good, but would not go again next time.

地元で美味しいボール料理で有名！とのことで訪れた。ボールのは豚肉、牛肉、鶏肉、シーフードの中から選ぶ事が出来る。私達は三種のボールを全部で四個注文した。しかし、来たのはたった二個のみ。しかもウェートレスはシーフードだと言うが、ミートボールの味しかしない不思議な味のボール。更に不思議なのはボールをオーダーすると一緒にサイドメニューを頼まなくてはいけない！と言う。仕方なくスパゲッティを頼む。ところが麺が茹で過ぎのなんだかんだわからないような代物が小皿にほんの少し乗ってきただけ。それで7NZDとは、余りの高値にビックリ。お客は多く満席でスタッフの対応も良かったが次にまた行くことは無い。
