M.Our family had dinner here tonight. We are visiting from out of town and wanted to eat somewhere not too flash.
Thai Delight was perfect close to our hotel. Small and simple inside but clean with friendly staff.
Food was good quality and generous portions.
They are kid friendly.
So if you want tasty Thai without the flash get down to Thai Delight.
Y.One of my favourite Thai restaurant. Garlic pepper stir fried meats, I always eat them all with the delicious jasmine rice they provided. Highly recommended their slow cooked beef noodles soup, beef is very soft, the soup is the best I had. They have some tables in the restaurant, you can choose to eat there, or take out. A lot of car parks on the street.
B.Basic shop, but food is good, there are tables and benches to eat on site but most people use take away, phone order is available. Staff very friendly
R.Arrived in new Plymouth after a long as drive. Went to the closest takeaway and happy that it was this place! The curry puffs are way better than the usual like more turmeric??? Dunno yum . Got a pad Thai for the kid loved it. Green curry and a duck larb for us so yum . Definitely go again. 👍
P.Once you've eaten at the legendary Thai in Otahuhu (people drive for a long time and it's worth it), the rest all have such a high mark to meet.
The peanut sauce on the chicken skewers was odd, but ok. The chicken chewy. The BBQ pork fried rice was ***delicious***.
We are going to try the other Thai places around here too to see if those are more to our expectations, but there is definitely nothing wrong with the food from this place - we will easily eat here again.
I just like a very peanutty and correctly spiced peanut sauce, and to be honest, that's a high bar to meet.

M.I've given this place a go a few times, and I'm not a big fan. They are Thai, but serve western style Thai. Sure, some people like bland stir frys with lots of fresh vegetables, but that's not what I ordered tonight. I wanted Thai basil chicken. The main ingredients should be chicken and basil in a nice sauce. Disappointed again.

R.The place might look small and low-profile, but don't get fooled, their food is awesome, prices seem not cheap but considering the size of the portion they are actually fine, staff is friendly and fast, and they also keep their kitchen vey clean. I wouldn't recommend for eat-in though, but I don't think they intend to be a place for that, so...just take away and enjoy.
