Full credit to the staff for pumping out all the orders at top speed. The drive thru was already backed up then a couple of sports teams of children arrived filling the restaurant. I stood and watched the team of staff as they efficiently got each and every order out correctly and quickly putting a smile on each customer as the delivered their orders. Well done maccas Oamaru You were certainly impressive to observe. As someone who has owned/operatored in fast food takeaways hats off to you all

Quick service as was really quiet when we were there. Friendly staff. Food was good. Just a bit slow at cleaning up tables after people leave.

Restaurant was busy..but clean..wasn't asked for vaccine pass and staff didn't notify our order was ready to collect. Plenty of staff to do all of this instead of standing looking into space..wouldn't highly recommend

So this is a good and bad review ! We stopped on way home for a banana thickshake that was yummy best we had for a long time 😊 but I'm concerned about the safety side ! We parked in the carpark at the back and walked to the side entrance as directed. It is narrow you can't walk two people side by side there is no room and there is no railing along the whole piece so that a child could shoot out very easily in front of a car because the driveway to come in from the other street is right next to it ! And we had to move to the side so other people could pass and they need to sort it out ! It's a accident waiting to happen ! ☹️

Can't go wrong with maccas. Haven't had too much trouble here. Apart from hot drinks sometimes they get orders wrong but apart from that they're sweet normally

We were on level 2 lockdown and I was very impressed with their service. Distancing rules were applied and as soon as someone ordered or left their seating, there was someone with a spray bottle of disinfectant spraying and wiping all surfaces. Kiwiburger was delicious and fries were hot and fresh cooked. Thank you for a job well done 👍

I am from out of town so haven't been here in a while. The restaurant looked lovely and clean and I liked the set out. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. I enjoyed the experience and would happily return!

It's a Maccas so you know the score. This place is usually busy with drive through orders. Which they prioritize. The in-store experience is invariably one of a random grab bag of: slowish service, filthy conditions, full to bursting rubbish bins and loud intrusive radio stations playing in the background. Which is I'd suggest probably 100% the same as you'd find in the average car using this places drive through.

Well we got our meal wrong drink wasn't a big deal got it sorted thank you to the manager of that the on this particular day she was very apologetic for the mix up but said she must try my ice coffee which was iced caramel latte with soy milk whipped cream and caramel drizzle give it a go its wonderful on these hot summer days enjoy 😊

I regularly go to the Dunedin Andersons Bay maccas and I thought that was aight but dayum if you could get Michelin stars for fast food this place would definitely get one, very good speed and customer service and they actually put the sauce packets in!!! Would definitely recommend this maccas if your looking for a McSnacc 👌

A school sports team was there; only one staff member was manning (womanning?) the tills although there seemed to be loads of staff that could have assisted (one was even up a ladder hammering at something) Coffee was a little over extracted and sour, & I thought $3 was rather a lot for a smallish hot cross bun. A typical fast food experience; nothing outstanding.

Only been through the drive thru and they service has always been friendly and with a smile. Food is always warm and cooked in a timely manner. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Outside is kept clean and tidy.

Nice clean restrooms. Staff a bit slow but helpful when they forgot a drink off our order. Lots of motorcycle rides call in on way to Burt Monroe at Invercargill. Parking out the back but if not familiar can be over shot as you need to turn the cornor before if Southbound.

Came here on a Sunday lunch. It was busy with lots of kids. Some of the customers seem annoyed waiting around for their orders. Our order took a while too. Typical Maccas food.

A good McDonalds which opens nice and early on the weekend. Parking appears to be no problem as its located on the edge of the main shopping area, Oamaru's CBD. Staff were friendly and helpful and prompt with the preparation of the food. As of all McDonalds there is a a reasonable variety of food which is regardless of what other folk may say quite tasty and filling. If you want a good McDonalds I am sure you won't be disappointed.

I stopped into MacDonalds Omaru on my way home from balclutha cause I needed a break and was hungry, I had a mcchicken combo and it was the best one I've ever had, the chicken was moist and bun was fresh and my fries were nice and crispy, way better than I've had in chch! Was so satisfied.
