A.One of the best Mediterranean restaurant in Orewa.
I tried spaghetti bolognaise, lasagne,smoked gourmet seafood pizza.
Food wasn’t too salty, and moistured.
L.Great food which is a mix of Greek and Italian. Quick service and good selection of drinks.
K.Came from West Auckland to meet friends who had been to this restaurant before and wanted us to try it.
We managed to sit outside it was such a lovely restaurant with very friendly and attentive staff.
It is Mediterranean and three of us wanted Mousacca which was so popular it was sold out.
We settled for Italian dishes spaghetti marinara and Cabanara dishes, all dishes were beautiful and the portions generous, prices fair and a great find in Orewa.
Definitely will go back but before we go will order the Mousacca ahead of time.

N.Best Pizza you will find. The place is perfectly situated in Orewa, quiet and peaceful restaurant to enjoy lovely food. The kindness and heartfelt dedication to serving locals with Italian food is shown in the dedication and passion behind the food itself. Thankyou for making me feel acknowledged when I took my two small children to see the 'pizza man' they were so happy. Will be back often. You will not be disappointed here!
J.We love Vino. Before the pandemic we went there regularly. We've only just started eating out again. It is still as good as it has always been. If you like Mediterranean food, if you like a smaller more personal environment, if you like a family run establishment, then look no further. The staff are friendly and efficient. Portion sizes are generous & the wait from ordering to delivery to the table is just right. Its licensed. Parking close by. We have only ever had good experiences there, no matter what we've ordered. Enjoy!

D.Probably a 5/10. The prawns were out of a supermarket prepackaged, and were overcooked and chewy. Calamari was average. Steak was poorly seasoned, but nicely cooked. Vegetables were not great. Mousakka was average. Wine selection and service were great cute surroundings.
D.We got some takeaway pizza. Great service walking in near closing time, given an accurate estimate of wait time, and the pizzas were delicious. Good value for money. We tried the hawaiian, tandoori chicken, spicy chicken, and pepperoni - all were awesome. Probably the best hawaiian pizza I've had for a long time.

Choc fudge cake for dessert also delicious.

M.Lovely recommended sparkling sweet wine and well made lemon, lime & bitters. Outside decor gives an empty look so a very nice surprise on entering. Relaxed atmosphere, however the music was a little loud. The platter was a delightful teaser to the wonderfully made pizza for the main. Great attentive service.
N.I love this restaurant. It's kind of tucked away and has a great atmosphere..the kind when you want intimacy and to feel you left the world behind! The Seafood Chowder was to die for!!! I will be going back regularly for a bowl of that and to try everything else on the menu. This is genuine Mediterranean food.
R.This was my second visit. After a dreadful first attempt I decided to give them another chance. I asked what the house special was, and was told it was an old menu, and they no longer have a house special. I ordered a spaghetti marinara and it was served bubbling like molten lavaas if straight from the microwave. At no point did any staff member ask me if the meal was satisfactory. If I could give less than 1 star I would.
I decided to return after 2 years. Total transformation. Wonderful service, and very good food. Hard to believe it is the same restaurant.

R.First time to this place, the garlic pizza bread, cannelloni main and the chicken main were a cut above the usual cafe food. Nice atmosphere, plenty of parking, friendly staff and chef. For a Tue night it was busy, always a good sign. Might try their pasta takeaways too but definitely going back to try their fettuccini carbonara.
j.Great atmosphere, very friendly staff...food is very rich, be warned! The small pizza is enough for one, if you try to eat the large you'll be taking some home!

Only comment - and this applies to most restaurants - is that it's probably not the right place if you're vegetarian. Or if you're vegetarian and you'd like more of a choice than two different pizzas. But the pizza WAS delicious!
N.Yummiest takeaway pizza I've had in a very long time. We ordered then ate down at Orewa beach. Everyone loved their pizzas. I especially loved my Vegetarian pizza, real yummy combo of veges and delicious base on all of our pizzas.

A.I was passing and saw menu on outside table. I was wanting a dessert to take back to motel. Asked for Tiramisu. It was lovely best I have ever eaten. Treated so well. Will go back when in Orewa next to dine in.
I.First of all I have to say that I was totally fooled by Google reviews and thought that I'm going to dine in authentic Italian restaurant,that was 100%wrong.
The restaurant leaves you confused because you wouldn't know if you in Greek or the Italian or some other type of restaurant,the music,the paintings on the walls and complete ambient.
As well,meals were edible and ok but certainly not by Italian kitchen,far from it.
All in all 6 out of 10.
R.We had chicken & Mushroom Pasta, Cannelloni and Fish Supreme Pizza, all generous servings with a Greek salad to share, very delicious highly recommended
S.Nice small little restaurant that we make sure we pop into each time we're out in Orewa. It's got a sorta family feeling to it. The waitresses are generally very friendly and helpful. The food has been delicious the past two times we've dined here. And the chef pops outta the kitchen and is always checking to make sure everyone's happy. Had the fish and the chicken dish, along with the gluten free pudding and they were all delish! Well done team it's still one of our favs!
M.New owners took over just before Christmas. And Vino's is now our favorite eatery on the coast. Pizza's are excellent and the food in general is top notch. Highly recommended!
