A long wait at the drive through. Had to park up. Not following covid protocol that other McDonald's follow with windows up until food on shelf. No signage that I could see to remind customers. Maybe it's not required and other McDonald's just do it as an extra safety precaution for their staff.

Always do good food, sometimes burgers are a little messy. Only occasionally do I get bad chips. Most of the time is hot and crispy. Never had an ice cream machine failure One thing that does stand out at this place is the service at 5am. When they're changing to the breakfast menu, they will tell you to come back 15 minutes later and when you do, it's extremely slow in the drive thru. Extremely slow. I've done it many times at this hour and I've seen many MANY people honk horns and yell at the staff for their insane slow service at this particular time. Other than that, restaurant seems to be clean, a little crowded but overall not bad at all

Same as every other. They look clean and then you start noticing the table smeared by the 15 year old staffer, the small hole in the roof which is dripping water (?) onto seats, and the tatty furniture. What's with the two sets of doors to get into the place?

Generally not too crowded. The drive-through is as quick as can be expected. No nasty surprises. Sometimes the kids playground is a bit of a mess, but I think that's about par for the course.

Well it's all good and well to have fancy ordering screens, it's another thing to use them if you were brought up ordering off a "person". (Shock horror shop assistants can't engage with the public). What a dagg Of course we got it wrong so instead of getting the food at our table, I had to wait at the counter like a naughty school boy while my wife sat all alone at the table waiting for me. Oh well we might get it right next time.ha Food was OK but you can't get a breakfast menu after a certain time which is a pitty as I like sausage mcmuffins. Not overly keen on their hamburgers. Just have to get there earlier eh.

I went there on the 27th of September 2020, about 3am alone. This was part of my spiritual journey. The people i meet on my spiritual walk on my way to McDonalds, were nice. One of them asked me which song they should play. I said Poker Face. and he said, he like that. 3 of them were lovely people. Love and Light goes to them. I ordered salad burger, chips, coke and chocolate sundae. Everything was perfect. the burger has hash brown in it and other salad. That was yummy, and healthy. The lady who served me was very nice. Love and Light goes to her. The food was prepared in a clean way. People involved in preparing my food did good job. Love and Light goes to them. One of the customer looked after my food, while i went inside the toilet to wash my hand. He was very nice guy. Love and light goes to him for looking after my food, and also telling me you can place order on the counter instead of using that online order system they had in the store also.

One of their baristas makes the absolute BEST iced moccha. A nice place to eat in as they have some nice seating options. My go to food place in Palmerston North when I need to be in town.

Ice creams have same base just different toppings. Price difference between cone and sundae is not justifiable. Though you can get same chocolate one with cone in less price... :(. Tried Mcdonald ice-creams in different countries they have more good. In NZ feel McDonald ice-cream is more flat.

It is understaffed the bottom line seems to matter more than the customers and staff. If you're implementing a new service try a novel approach and make sure your teams have adequate staff. Oh and dont blame middle management. Upstairs should be made to do two weeks straight in the same trench

We visited for a birthday party. It was exceedingly cramped in the party room with adults and children in the one room. The party staff were very nice and made sure the children all had a lovely party, no one missed out on making their own ice cream cone. Small parties would be best.

Not very good service today, was handed over my order asked if my apple pie was in there and told rudely by the service girl that I should check before asking as I could have gotten a free pie, i dont know how many times I have left maccas without some of my order so now I always ask if I haven't seen it placed in the bag. The server didn't need to talk to me in a condescending manner, and to top it all off she forgot to put order in the free share bag so had to ask for that too which she begrudgingly gave me. She must have had a bad day, I hope she was nicer to other customers!

It's always fast and easy. But when it's busy the drive in is a bit awkward as the line of car's gets pushed out to the busy insersection.

Nothing too special about this Maccas, nice semi-clean store. Staff are doing what they have to do. Sometimes there will be a wait on food if you go in store so I usually go through the Drive-Thru. Long story short It's a good ol reliable Maccas.

Cheap drink/frozen coke. If you fill out a survey using the maccas app you can get a pack of small fries with that for free. However when they fill up your frozen coke there are so many air pockets so when I stirred it and never had a single sip of it the actual quantity of coke in the was 3/5 of the cup size. They also put only like 15 fries in that small fries packet. Still friendly staff though.

What i really wanted to review however was the lady that was there cleaning tables/floors etc - what a wonderful asset you have there McDs rangitikei st!! She is friendly, courteous and works her butt off! Ive never come across a person in this type of role that goes above and beyond like this.

Waited in drive thru for 12 minutes. No menu boards until you get to the order station. Which is okay if you know what you want. Not as good menu boards as BK. Servers were very polite.

This McDonald's has a drive-through and a McCafe. In my opinion they have nicer frozen coke than the McDonald's in The Plaza too.

Just went for a coffee at McCafe as other cafes in area were shut. Coffee was fine but arrived spilled in saucer. Probably should come with sugar sachets rather than having to collect sugar from condiments station as McDonald's are charging the same for coffee as any other cafe.

I don't recommend dining in on a Saturday night if you're used to a quieter environment. The choose your own playlist/ instore music had been turned up very loudly by a large group, making it an uncomfortable experience for my hearing aid wearing 10 year old who couldn't escape the amplified noise. It was a long wait for frozen cokes and sundaes to come to our table due to the large groups that arrived at the same time we did. The crew were flat out.

My burger was supposed to be pickle free and it was printed on the front of the box. It had two kerkins in it. I hate those things.the whole meal was nice and fresh did return the box and pickle to the serving counter.

Called into Palmerston McDonald's for a coffee. Very pleased for the staff member whom served my hunny and I. He was very well mannered, sincere and a great communicator. He apologised there was no chai latte and approached immediately at the table we were sitting at to inform me. He asked if there was something else I would like to order. He repeated my customised order to me to ensure my order was correct before returning to cafe to make. Another 😊 to see staff take pride in maintaining clean environment.

McDonald's Palmerston North is the cleanest one In the manawatu wanganui region, the customer service is even better. Can not rate the toilets, I did not go to Burger King before hand.
