Awesome yummy Vietnamese food here with Pho being quite popular. Busy restaurant with a great ambience in a quite parents on Broadway with plenty of street parking. Open from 11 to 2 pm and 4.30 to 9 pm. They also have dine in & take out. Food comes out pretty quick. The platter is my favourite with wantons, spring rolls, batterd prawns & salad.

What a great find this is, king prawns were divine the first time I visited and yesterday the won tons were amazing. Vietnamese pancake pictured and the vietnamese chicken salad was sooo tasty. Will definitely go again

I love this place. Disappointingly, the ribs are no longer on the gluten free menu but the lamb shank and mash are always a good go to kiwi favorite. I personally never eat anything but Pho.

Friday night and it was crowded. We were lucky to get a table outside so worth making reservations that time of the week. Good entree but the Mains we had were even better. Ample servings. The Chicken Curry was as advertised - not hot but subtle in flavouring and spice levels. Excellent service.

Visited during dinner time and the waitresses were very happy and cheerful, although busy they kept their spirits up which made the experience more enjoyable, they ran out of blueberries for a fruit smoothie but one of the waitresses brought over a substitute which was very nice. The food was scrumdidlyumptious and the atmosphere was peaceful, i would like to pass on my thanks to the waitresses that made this a happy experience :)

Food was good and the live singing was really good. Ventilation for the restaurant needs to be improved as it was extremely warm inside. It got too uncomfortable so we didn't hang around much longer after finishing our food

Came here for Dinner on a Friday night, walked in without a reservation and was seated at a table. My partner had vermicelli salad, the meat was delicious, I had the chicken curry, very tasty. Good service and tasty food

A new restaurant and bar in Terrace End. Had an extensive menu and was around $20 for express lunch and had a beautiful IPA for $8 a pint. Was an excellent ambiance and even had great outdoor seating right on Broadway Ave. This will definitely be my go to place in the future and with any new establishment there is always teething problems so I would disregard the negative reviews and give this place a chance.

Loved rhe experience at Saigon Restaurant. It was the first time my friend and i had tried Vietnamese food and the help and advise we got from the waitress staff was apsolutely awesome. Karen was exceptional. Going through it with so much patience and pointing out what each dish had in it. Thank you Saigon for making our first experience memorable. Will most certainly be back.

I’ve had a few Banh Mi in my time, the one I had today from here will take a lot of beating. First time in the restaurant and have to say the service, cleanliness and friendly banter was a good as my lunch. I’ll be back to try the dinner menu out for sure.

Had lunch Mon/ Tues this week due to grandsons request. 9 years old. I had beef Pho, lovely flavour with added chillies. Would have liked maybe some fresh herbs on top, eg Vietnamese mint and Coriander as they do in Vietnam. Fresh spring rolls were fresh and flavorsome. Wontons were devoured by grandson and friend, then Bah MI which seemed to go down a treat! Worth a visit.
