Awesome, Train station cafe at the National Park Train station, cozy ambience with hearty food, great coffee and very tasty big breakfast. Well worth a stop if you’re passing by. Reasonable prices and Gluten-free options aswell.

Wry picturesque location. Plentiful parking, coffee a bit weak for my taste. Food very good though

Popped in for a lovely bottle of Chardonnay, would have had five stars if they had a rose. Where else can you chill out on a railway platform and talk the night away

If you like a unique experience, this could become one of your top places to dine. One-man show of waiter, bar tender, and chef magically delivers a dining experience of high standards. Excellent plate presentation, serving all people at the table at the same time, friendly, picks up on the small things, unforgettable tasteful food, and a charming atmosphere. If it wasn't far from home, we'd be here regularly. In my top 5 list of restaurants in NZ. To the owner: keep up your stunning service!

Pretty good for restaurant in a smaller town. Service is quick despite only having 2 staff working. The food could use a bit less oil but it doesn't detract from the taste too much. The crème brulé was surprisingly decent. Not a bad place to dine if you're in the neighborhood.

One guy working and was running the kitchen and front of house all by himself and still had our meals out quicker than an Auckland cafe. Really impressed. Good hot food to fuel us for our day of walking. Good portion sizes and coffee.

Great coffee and delicious Eggs Benedict & bacon. Helpful and friendly staff
