J. C.We order snapper and chips for mum from here from time to time and it's always beautifully cooked with decent portions. Chips are lovely as well.
G. G.This takeaway has had its ups and downs over the years, with some owners letting quality slip. The folks there now are on the ball, and work hard to produce decent kai. For those who complain about having to wait a bit or the phone being off the hook, don’t they realise how hectic things can get? It’s great that it’s so busy - it shows they’re getting things right.

T. D.Their hot chips are not that great and very oily. However, their chop suey and chow mein is excellent! The sweet and sour pork is the best I've ever had I kid you not. Though a bit stingy with the meat in the chow mein. 4 average size pieces of chicken in a chowmein for $13. The place needs a revamp as looks old dark and dirty. Mega language barrier - it might pay for them to get orders right, or, english lessons!
R. V.My first fish n chips back in NZ after 5 years overseas. Thanks Coastlands for making it everything i remember. Great hot dogs. The fish (we got hoki, not tarakihi, or snapper) was divine, cooked in a light yet crisp batter. I wish I could have paid on my credit card (debit only) but hey, the lovely young lady on the front desk was awesome. Want good take aways? You now know where to go.
