Clean, dine-in premise. Quick service. We liked the chips, there was a lot of mayonnaise in the coleslaw which some liked and some didn't. The chicken was tender and the outside was crispy. There were lots of types of chicken to choose from (eg sweet and sour and honey soy). We had a whole chicken for 3 people and there were leftovers so good value for money. Would be great for kids birthdays or watching sports.

It was my first time visiting yesterday and honestly, WOW. I am simply blown away. I have tried different Korean fried chicken over the years and I can't believe I've found the best in my hometown of Paraparaumu, it's truly a blessing lol. It is pricey but it is 100% authentic and worth every penny. Please go get you some asap!

This chicken is mad man ting, cooked fresh so small wait but the half chicken portion is a huge amount. Sweet and spicy is probably Paraparaumu spicy... to protect the lips of all the grandpa's out here but it's not hot. Didn't try volcano but that's probably the heat level you want. The whole team all say bye 👋 to you when you leave the shop like an episode of curb your enthusiasm. It's a nice touch

Awesome chicken and super friendly staffs! It’s authentic korean style chicken, believe me (I’m korean as you see my family name) I strongly recommend Sweet&Spicy. My fav is Volcaino cuz it’s super spicy… I’m so happy to have this in Wellington region, not in the central though

Tried the sweet chiilli chicken burger yesterday and it was nice and a meal in itself. Only mistake I made was to get a takeaway to eat in my car but it was a bit messy so had to go back in to wash my hands. I will be back for the volcano chicken. Edit 6 Nov 21 I went back for the volcano chicken and discovered it's the same cooked chicken but it's the sauce they use to give it their flavors and NOT a marinade. Volcano chicken is just a terribly hot chili sauce and not enjoyable at all.

The fried chicken was amazing, we shared a half and half sweet and spicy and honey soy between 3 of us and it was the perfect amount of food with some chips and pickled radish

Wow. Best fried chicken the whole family has ever had. 2x crispy chicken and cheese burgers and 2x sweet and spicy chicken burgers. Got them all as combos and the chips were awesome as well. We will be returning, probably our new go to takeaways.

One of the best crispy chicken I've tasted in my lifetime!!! Crispy on the outside, tender and moist in the middle. The chips were just as yummy! The service was great! Will definitely come back and recommend to family and friends.

How was K-Chicken Bistro? Well damn, this was amazing, hands down the best takeaway on the Coast. Great value too. I think my life expectency dropped maybe 15 minutes eating this, but it was worth every second.

They got my order wrong today...my half serve of crispy chicken came out as a sweet and spicy instead. Luckily I liked that one too. The Volcano is also excellent with a decent amount of spice - equivalent to the standard "Indian/Thai hot" you'd find in generic provincial town eateries. As my grandmother always says - "no point in paying for ambience". Wise words, as otherwise you'd be missing out on some great eats. Very limited menu but that's a good thing - focusing on their strengths and delivering it consistently is a great strategy

K-Chicken Bistro is your authentic KRISPY Korean Fried chicken. Each order is cooked fresh and can be eaten plain and crispy or choose from honey soy (Korean classic), sweet and spicy and Volcano (spicy Korean Hot, hot and hot). Coleslaw was good but you can get really authentic and choose pickled radish that is sweet and tart. They also have options for a chicken burger which I will be coming back for the next time I swing by the Kāpiti Coast. Best eaten while watching your favorite K-drama specials!

had the honey soy burger last night. 10/10 would recommend. the bun was perfect and the chicken perfectly crisp. The young lady named Danika served me and she was very nice> She also helped me choose what to get.

Awsome place to have on the coast, great food, friendly staff. I had the crispy chicken and cheese burger combo with a side of volcano sause, very tasty and was nice and spicy left with a sweat on always a good sign. Great K pop tunes on in the back round also.

Unreal! Everything is cooked fresh when you order, definitely worth the 10 min wait. Got the boneless honey soy chicken and it seriously ticks all the boxes! 11/10 would recommend 👌🏼

Oh my golly, this is absolutely amazing. We were going to get pizza for lunch but saw this place instead. Got the half boneless sweet and spicy chicken. I don't know how they got the coating so crispy and the chicken so moist and tender. The Korean sweet and spicy sauce was perfect - tasty and not too hot. Will return (probably tomorrow).

Great chicken which was both crispy and really saucy at the same time. Shared it with one other and my 2 year old who loved both the crispy and the sweet and spicy chicken. Would say that the half chicken is a bit to much for one person but not enough for two, so would want to add a side or go for 2 half's if it's for two or more adults.

I can say it now. I (just) had a Chicken Burger and was recommended the Sweet + Spicy sauce and I can legitimately say it had to be the best Chicken burger I've had. The Chicken was fresh and moist, the chips were crunchy and everything flavor wise was spot-on.

Chicken was really delicious. It really tastes like seasoned chicken that I ate in Korea. It took 45 minutes from Wellington, but it was worth more. Highly recommended!!!

After a very simple phone order, I made my way out from Tawa to Paraparaumu to get this amazing chicken that I’d heard good things about, during that time, Westpac decided to have an outage (I know, it’s not their fault) and I wasn’t able to transfer money in order to pay for my family’s food. After 3 or 4 failed attempts to fix the issue, Danika and her kinds family agreed to tell me to take the food home, they would text me their acc details and I would transfer the bill as soon as I could. This in itself was a giant act of kindness, so of course I’m checking Westpac online every few minutes when I get home and sure enough, we get back online after a little while. I get a text from Danika with our total and their acc details. Paid them promptly and I can’t express how grateful I am for their kind offer of take away before pay. Equally important - BEST K-fried chicken we’ve ever had! Wife is very happy with her honey soy and I’m still on fire with the amazing Volcano chicken. We will 100% be back time and time again! Thank you for your lovely food, and most of all, your generous offer to have us pay afterwards. See you guys soon!

The sweet and spicy chicken is very good. Ordered a whole chicken. Price competitive with other offerings in Kapiti.

First time we have eaten here and must say the taste of the honey soy 1/4 chicken was fantastic as was the seasoned chips although we thought for $16 we might have seen a few more. Will definitely be back to try some other flavours. Would like to see the snack meals also come without the soft drink to keep the price and the carbs down.
