A great mix of the old standards and some more interesting things. Me and my work team like to go here for lunch a lot - they offer a smaller lunch portion which is a perfect size and very reasonable for the price. Don't worry if you're a greedy guts like me - you can still order a full portion! Day or night, I would say this is a great option to pick up one of your favourites or try something new. Either way, you'll be welcomed by AJ or one of the other chill, friendly team and made to feel like one of the family.

Perfect start - we were met and greeted at the door, before being shown to our seats. Excellent service throughout. The food was nicely presented, and flavoursome, with succulent meats. Friendly staff, who are prepared to go the extra mile. Rangoli, with it's colourful decor, never fails to please! Well recommended.

Beautiful food, great service. We had kheena and garlic nans and large kalmirch and Tikka marsla curries. This was heaps for 3 adults. Everything lovely fresh and of a quality we just can't replicate at home, and my son is an epic sous chef. Cheap really. The decor is a bit dated and could use a bit more lighting but hey ho the food is the bomb. Loads of gd options.

This is the BEST authentic Indian in Kapiti hands down. They use a proper charcoal oven which gives the chicken a proper charcoal taste like in India. I have tried many Indian restaurants and this is the best. The staff are awesome too and very friendly. I highly recommend you try this restaurant or takeaway as it’s definitely better than the rest.

I’m always nervous when going to eat Indian food because it’s usually over priced for what it is. I was totally wrong about judging this place before I tried it. The wait time for food was perfect, enough time to natter, and eat our entrees. The samosas were to die for! They were on a shared platter, with onion bhaji, chicken and beef, and dipping sauces. Delicious. Next Butter Chicken...DELICIOUS...Mango chicken...DELICIOUS. I am sold. Best Indian on the Coast and in Aotearoa by a curry mile! Food is consistently delicious and beautifully presented. We frequent here weekly for our fix of Kadai chicken, samosas and garlic naan. Their butter chicken is also divine and never disappoints. A special mention must be given to their top-notch customer service. All of the staff are extremely friendly, polite and they make the effort to get to know their customers’ names! Much kudos.

I have eaten there on at least 40 occasions over the years and have held birthdays there etc etc. It has always been consistently excellent and my favourite Indian restaurant bar none. The lamb Madras and chicken tikka masala are excellent, but all dishesare delicious. Despite changing chefs they all follow the same recipe so amazing consistency and I have never been disappointed, which says a lot in over 10 years. Very highly recommended. All guests I have taken there have always been impressed. Excellent service too every time.

Since we moved to Otaki I couldn't find anything like it UNTIL the chef from Rotorua moved to Paraparaumu and took over Rangoli Restaurant!! He's changed the recipe!! It's soooo good and it's so clean if you wanted to eat in!! We go there at least once a fortnight!! I looove to get Medium Hot and everybody else gets mild but I love both 🤣🤣 Trust me!!
