J.We had a fabulous dinner experience at Miha restaurant. The service was relaxed and friendly. The food was excellent, I had the best fillet steak I have had in a very long time. Definitely will be back.
G.Going back to review this after our Valentine's Day weekend dinner here, and sadly the service really killed what would have been a nice dining experience; while these pictures of our plates look nice, there were issues throughout our meal.
Asked waiter for tap water, but got bottled. Waiter also constantly walked away from our table without asking if we wanted anything else (we did). We asked what citrus fruit is in the gin and tonic, and they said lime but it was lemon. We asked where their oysters were from and they said "Umm ... local." Our plated mains were practically dropped on the table as they said, "Here's your steak" before turning on their heels and leaving. We asked for glass of red wine to go with the steak, but we never got it until we asked someone else. The aged steak ended up being very good, and the maple pork belly was even better, BUT there were two pork belly pieces and one wasn't cooked anywhere close to the other. One pulled apart so nicely, the other had to carve into. Whenever we may be in the area again, I'm sure we may have a second go here and see if it was just a really bad day on a special weekend, but for now, sadly have to give all of this a 3.
J.Nice ambiance. Unfortunately got a different meal than ordered. I was offered to have the meal I ordered but as my partner had his and it had been a long wait I chose not to.
T.Excellent food served in a beautiful setting. I had them make me a special salad combining fresh greens and local fruit. It worked out great. A beautiful evening with torches alight on the deck. A short walk thru the forest from your room. Take the well maintained paths for a bit of night time mystery.

R.I stayed at the resort of 1 week and had multiple meals at the restaurant. All of them were quite good and reasonably priced. The only minor complaint I have is that there aren't that many options on the menu. If I stayed there any longer I would have gotten tired of the variety.

M.Went along to Miha for dinner with friends after a day playing golf and left totally satisfied with the food, service and ambiance. 3 of had the fish and one had the the lamb and this was followed by a couple of shared desserts. Everything was excellent.
The restaurant is beautifully furnished with comfortable chairs and great views over Pauanui. The wait staff were friendly and professional and there was an excellent wine list with plenty of ‘by the glass’ options.
Definitely coming back for more.
M.Could not fault a thing, our waiter Nigel was very friendly and even had the chef make a delicious chicken meal for me as the chicken on the menu has dates which I don't eat, so he went above and beyond to satisfy a fussy customer. Thank's Nigel and the Chef
G.Great restaurant at the resort. It is definitely fine dining done well. Our appetizers and entrees were very tasty. Only issue was my filet was a tad overcooked but we were hungry so I didn't complain. The flavors themselves were excellent. Our desserts were scrumptious. Good bread pudding!!

S.Miha is really the only constant in Pauanui, in the respect that it is reliably open seven days a week, breakfast lunch and dinner. Breakfast is usually great, some à la carte options and a varied buffet. Lunch and dinner can be up and down, sometimes it is top quality, sometimes a bit average but never terrible, inconsistencies can probably be attributed to the nature of the industry and location, staff are generally never permanent and change often, including management.
In saying that the staff have always been very polite and respond well to compliments and criticism, if you are unhappy with something just let them know and they will do all they can to help. The bar and lounge are great, nice place to relax meet new people or friends. Plenty of outside seating, great for when the weather is right. I will return.
C.Nice food but over-priced for some dishes. Overrated "ocean views" and cold air conditioning beating down spoiled what should have been a pleasant dining experience. However, the amenities were tasteful and staff were extra attentive and efficient.
M.Puka Park is a Coromandel Gem.. A beautiful venue for the finest occassion.. Dining top rate.. and a Beautiful view from the Deck while sipping on a Pina Colada.. or whatever takes your fancy.. I love playing live music on the deck and its one of my favourite places.. Mark Taipari.
B.Went for lunch to celebrate a birthday and the food was lovely but the service was very slow and took 2hrs to eat. 😐
This was rectified by talking to the waitress who applied a discount to the bill. 😁
