Super nice service and really good pizzas! Saved our rainy day in Picton! We went for 2 x large pizzas: chicken cranberry and funghi with smoked ham. Good sized pizzas, tasty stuffing and nice crust. Highly recommend!

Don't be put off by the signage outside. Was I confused with the sombreros on the signs for a pizza place? Yes. But inside feels a bit more Italy and a little less Mexico. The pizza is pretty good and the wine list decent. Would recommend for a food stop in Picton.

Excellent! Quite unassuming from the roadside, but has a lovely courtyard and nice atmosphere.. absolutely delicious pizzas and great service

Great friendly service. Fantastic menu options. Wood fired pizzas are loaded with toppings and delicious. Dine in or take away. Plenty of comfortable indoor seating.

Fantastic food and value for money. Pizzas were delicious and don’t miss Wednesday night “steak night”. Customer service always good and great for a family or special occasion.

It was ok , maybe a bit too much cheese on the margarita for my liking , you need a good toppings to bread ratio and this one was a bit heavy on the toppings , also garlic bread had been left too long in warmer , we only arrived about four mins after we were told our takeaways would be ready but by the time we got home the garlic bread was crusty and smashed to breadcrumbs as we tried to eat it . Keen to try again next time we are down

Pizza amazing with an authentic taste. Pasta was amazing, good serving size, plenty of scallops (some places cheap out). Dessert was amazing. Staff were friendly. Highly recommend

Food was pretty good (pizzas were a little scorched in places) and the service was friendly but a little slow, even though there weren't all that many customers in the restaurant. Would definitely eat here again though.

One of the best pizzas Ive ever had! Can really recommend this place. Friendly staff. Took long to get the pizzas, but was definitely worth the wait.

Can only speak to the wedges as it was all we ordered, traveled the entire south island top to bottom & back with this place having both the best & biggest serving of wedges we found along the journey at a very reasonable price of $8.50

About 20 of us enjoyed a lunch together, for the Welcome mat group held 1st Friday in each month. Food is so great it's hard to choose what to have. I can recommend the mouse traps so yummy. Good coffee too. We also have had scrumptious pizzas delivered to our home.

Great pizza I got the pork one. Cheesecake dessert was good as well bit of a small portion but very delicious 😋

The gluten free base and vegan cheese are delicious!! So good not having to miss out on pizza night - highly recommend.

Best pizza ever! The beef steak pizza is tasted full of flavor with thin crust and steak is so tender which melted in your mouth. The price is reasonable. Big thumb up!

Sat down for dinner with my family and all the food was great. The side of fries really hit the spot, the pizza was good; even the gluten free pizza! My wife even said she might prefer the gluten free over normal crust. Lastly, I ordered the grande calzone and oh geez it was bigger than I expected. I finished it but if you plan to eat it solo, do order the regular size, unless you happen to be famished I suppose. The staff was very polite and I would recommend this restaurant for any group looking for lunch or dinner.

I have fallen in love with this place. The best Italian cuisines I have ever had, really authentic.Their menu had a wide variety and not too expensive either. Loved the beautiful ambience. Was suprised to hear my favorite songs of Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra being played in the restaurant, had a really nice feel to it. But what I enjoyed most of all was the friendly staff. Me and my friends really loved your service. Thanks 😁😎

one of the BEST PIZZAS and CHIPS I’ve eaten in a while!! We ordered a large vegetarian supreme and a small fries. The chips were super crunchy and came with home made super garlicky aioli and tomato sauce! The pizza was laden with toppings and not stingy at all! Delicious! WELL PRICED!! They were busy so we only got the basic service of providing the menu, drinks, dinner but that’s okay! We sat outside as they have a nice outdoor area too! Will definitely return on our trips to Picton!! Thanks Scoozi

The pizza is incredible, especially the mushroom pizza, which has porcini mushrooms and truffle oil, it is in a league of its own! We've eaten here a few times now and it has always been outstanding. The staff have always been friendly and the atmosphere is very nice too! Definitely highly recommended!

Beautiful made pizza!

What incredible pizza's!! Peri Peri chicken was incredible with the lemon and coriander, utter perfection with the flavors. Funghi pizza was incredible aswell, amazing Mushrooms and the Truffle oil really finished it off amazingly. Will always be back.

Pizza was fabulous but I was told there was a 20 minute wait but my pizza took 45 minutes before it was ready. If it hadn't been for the wait this would have been a 5 star review.

Great mains if I was in a high class restaurant. But way over priced for a pizza family restaurant. Fish was beautifully cooked and flavored. Odd mix of high class main dishes in a average family pizza restaurant setting. Will just get pizza next time if I try again.

Ordered 2 takeaway pizzas day before and they were delicious. The next day we decided to have a dinner in the restaurant. We spend half an hour just waiting to get seated and get a menu, even though there were plenty of tables available. Then we were told that the average waiting time is one hour, we haven't made our order yet so we decided to leave. Don't want to blame the waiters, they did the best they could, considered there were only two of them. The owner should consider hiring more staff for a high season.

Where do I start? The wait staff were accommodating and friendly, the food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is so well thought out that I want to keep coming back, IF ONLY IT WAS IN BLENHEIM AS WELL!! But seriously, 10/10 will be recommending to everyone!

Pizza was tasty and good size. Conveniently located next to the supermarket which means you can order a pizza and get some groceries while they are preparing it.

Crust of the pizza is very tasty, but toppings don't taste fresh. I had the pizza fungi, the mushrooms tasted like they were from a can (conserved). Also not a nice taste of the tomato sauce. I would skip Scoozi Woodfire place next time. There are better restaurants in town!

We arrived at Scoozi on a Monday evening after taking the ferry from Wellington. The large funghi pizza is one of the best I've ever had (and I come from Italy!!). When you eat a pizza like this, you wonder why in the world you sometimes stop at Domino's (desperation, yes). The outside area of the restaurant is really nice, especially at sunset. The young staff is welcoming, kind and nice. Made me wish to stay in Picton for another few days instead of hitting the road the day after 🙂

We actually tried their new Mexican take-out venture next door, but the staff welcomed us back to eat our food in the restaurant. We were able to buy drinks to go with the meal. The tacos and nachos were both delicious. Fresh and flavoursome.

Good pizzas at a reasonable price. Loads of toppings so very filling, but we were able to take any leftovers home.

We had dinner at Scoozi with family at the weekend. Restaurant was busy, service Excellent. We ordered beers, garlic cheesey herb pizza for starters , and 4 Share Large pizzas between us . They are huge! Pepperoni, Chicken Cranberry, Gluten Free and the Beef Jalapeno. All had generous tasty fresh toppings, the best Wood Fired Pizzas weve ever had. So much food, couldn't finish it so filling :-) would definitely go back next time in Picton

Delicious pizza!! We ordered early and even then they were busy so we decided to get our order delivered rather than wait. It was worth it; perfect margarita, classic hawaiian, fiery chipotle steak and, succulent chorizo and prawns. Everywhere we travel, we choose the best place we've eaten, this is it on this holiday!

A hidden gem. Unexpectedly the best pizza I've had in New Zealand. I don't care much for the average pizza you might find in NZ but this Italian style pizza here tastes like it was made with love. I had to get the margarita twice when passing by Picton.

Delicious!!!!! We dined here last week and had 3 amazing meals! The steak was yum, but the braised beef cheek pasta was 👌🏼👌🏼 the icing on the cake? The venison - yum yum and yum! And so much meat too. Highly recommended food and lovely friendly staff. Will definitely be back. Only feedback - the steak and the venison didn’t have much of a side, only a couple of small potatoes, a few more and it’s be perfect ☺️

We got takeaway grande size pizzas, took about half an hour to cook as there was only one chef but not an issue for us. 3 of them for 4 adults was plenty! Absolutely beautiful. We got Hawaiian, meat lovers and funghi (different types of mushroom). All were superb, funghi was the favourite.

We came here for lunch on a grey, damp day. Their seafood chowder was delicious! And the pizza and calzone were also enjoyed greatly. The staff were very friendly and knew their products well. It was great being able to see things cooking in the enormous woodfired pizza oven from where we were sitting.

Went to the newly opened restaurant Scoozi this afternoon on a locals recommendation. We ordered the quattro formaggi pizza and truffle parm fries, split between three people. Firstly I was pleasantly surprised by the substantial amount of fries we got followed by the best pizza I’ve eaten out in NZ. The roaring log burning pie oven is one of the first things I noticed walking in which is choice because the wood imparts flavour into the pizzas you can’t get with gas. Wrapping it up the staff were friendly the food was great and I’d highly recommend checking it out if your in the area.

Got some pizza with cranberries and chicken, was really good and nice music as well. If you like iced coffee you should get one it comes with good ice cream and whipped cream.

We were after some nice kai for breakfast... Scoozi wasnt just the best price in town... the service was outstanding, the kai was to die for, and to top it off we are going back in this morning for another round! I deducted one star because the sauce was too bland even by my standards of eating bland. Sprinkle with salt and pepper tabasco to make it more delicious. I went during lunch time and there were many locals enjoying tea time. There are a lot of cabinet food, and it's not bad for a cafe. (Original) 버섯피자 시켰는데 토핑이 혜자. 로켓도 잔뜩 얹어줘서 질리지않고 다 먹을수 있었음. 싱겁게 먹는 제 기준으로도 소스가 너무싱거워서 별 하나 뺌. 소금 후추 타바스코 뿌려먹으면 더 맛있게 먹을수 있음. 점심시간에 갔는데 티타임 즐기는 로컬들이 많더라고요. 캐비넷 푸드도 많고 카페로도 나쁘지않은가봐요.
