Tom yum fried rice really good but I don't like mushroom and they using that to substitute what little amount of chicken they've put in here dissapointed. I didn't pay $30 to get no chicken That's a poor response to I ordered tom yum with chicken not tom yum vegetarian. How am I supposed to know you're gonna replace all the chicken with mushroom I don't even know there's mushroom in the dish. Cheers for a better response and refund 👍

We ordered take away. Which was very prompt. We ordered the Hog Honey Ribs, which the meat fell of the bone and it was bursting with flavour! Honey Wings and Moo Dad Diew. Phad Thai was soggy and over cooked. The Massamun Lamb Shank was melt in your mouth from flavour to the perfectly cooked lamb shank. Definitely recommend.

Highly recommend. I had a duck curry. Fresh vegetables, lots of meat and really tasty. Large portion size.

Wow wow wow! I have never had Thai before and the food we just ate was insatiable! I have been living under a rock. The reviews are what drove me to try this place. So good, large portions would have feed our whole family of 7 with the 3 meals we purchased which was the cashew stir fry and red curry along with the honey ribs. We will be back thank you for a great meal.

Authentic Thai..... About time! Very quick cooking time as it should be. Tasty without being dumbed down to European tastes. I was pleasantly surprised to finally taste Thai as I remember it in Chiang Mai. This will be my future go to restaurant for this cuisine. Well done Kasalong!

Springs roll were fresh, with lots of nice greens. Not overfilled with rice noodles. Pad Thai was perfect spice and great fresh flavour, very reasonable prices. Will be back!

There are a lot of that restaurants in Nelson but this is the most authentic and beat Thai restaurant around. I was surprised to see food items on the menu that I'd only find in Thailand or even non Thai would not know about such as Laarb, Khao Soy and even Nam Tok as these dishes are the local Thai food and most Thai people would know about. If only they served sticky rice, it would have been absolute heaven.

Last Sunday I had beef noodle soup here, less than $14 it was delicious, the broth was tasty, yet not too rich. The beef was tender with a generous portion. I wished I could have another bowl because it was so yummy.

We got takeaway, and the order was ready pretty quickly. They offer Thai Hot on the menu which is nice. We found the Phad Thai not the nicest we'd had, a little bland and not the freshest either. Prices were slightly higher than the average. 5 chicken nibbles for ten dollars. The sauce tasted good, ginger and garlic.

Great place, we were the 1st table to be seated, and by the time we left the place was packed! Food was bought out to the whole table at once, staff were polite and friendly. Food was delicious and would happily go back again :)

This is the best Thai restaurant I’ve tried in Nelson area. They have authentic basil stir fry and Thai beverages, which are just the same as those I had in Thailand. Also have very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere there. Highly recommend

New Thai in town. We used to live in Thailand and know our Thai food. We just had lunch today. Grapao chicken and Vegetable fried rice. Both dishes were authentic and full of flavour. We wish these guys lots of success and will be going back for Dinner soon.
