Went here for dinner and the rugby test (ABS vs Aus). Beautiful fish and chips with a nice salad followed by good coffee......friendly helpful staff. Great atmosphere.....highly recommend.

These guys are just AMAZEBALLS...the food is to die for and even though this place is absolutely full to the brim most nights, the staff handle themselves to their best ability. They are kind and always up for a good laugh. I love coming to a place where you know the food is always good and it's a great warm inviting environment. My advice...Fish of the Day...or The Chicken Pasta...oh and don't forget the homemade garlic butter...worth every penny. Real foodies know a good place when we find it...🖤

Takes you back (somewhat) to the old days with a modernized approach but it's a really cool duck in place for a beer. Have not dined here as of yet but it's on the cards.

Looking for a place to have lunch with my carnivores family there was an utterance of there isn't much for a vegetarian there. Never fear the chef is a fellow veggie and whipped up a delicious bagel filled with saute mushroom,salad and aioli. Totally yum. Coffee was good too.

Such an awesome bunch of people, great food - definitely value for money, the portions are huge! You won’t leave hungry or dissatisfied. Very accommodating to people’s needs and easy going. I will absolutely be back and I’ll be taking friends.

Excellent place to sit and enjoy the view of that area of Richmond. Wonderful service by Nicole who was such a magnificent friendly waitress. Made a huge impact on my daughter and me. Nicole is the right person out front. A professional and capable person. It was a delight to have her serve us and chat . Terrific menu that covered 4 pages! Everything you would hope to find Quick turnaround time from order to table. Well presented food. Excellent tastes and top cooking. Highly recommend this restaurant

Historic relocated building that used to be the old Appleby stables. Great atmosphere and decor, even the old horse collars and brasses. The restaurant and bar staff are very friendly and helpful, the menu is lovely, with quick service. Food was beautifully cooked and presented They feature a good range of mostly local wines with beers, spirits and juices available. Right in the centre of Richmond, but not in the Mall ,( just opposite), it is a quiet, semi private place to eat and entertain in reasonable privacy and comfort without the hustle and bustle of shoppers. Well worth a visit.

Came in for a few pints and lunch around 2pm with 3 people. Really nice (rustic) decor with 3 seating areas. Out front, inside and rear garden bar. All would have been perfect, we chose the rear garden bar. Tap selection was great and the menu was simple but effective and priced reasonably. Pur party orded fries, and burgers. The food came out after about 15mins from order and was delicious, although the Chicken Burger was a bit bland. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Would definitely come back for another session.

We only stopped in for a quick pint on the way through, great selection of beers on tap and the menu looked great. Actually met the owner, Damien and his lovely wife while sitting out the back, what a couple of champs, very friendly and welcoming. Only wish we had longer in the area.

We were at a loss for what to have for dinner. Selected The Stables in Richmond. Warm welcome from lovely friendly staff. We ha a nice glass of good local wines and were served delicious meals with ample quantities. We loved the decor and atmosphere and the quiet , intimate table. Hi we went here on Saturday night to have dinner for my Birthday. I would like to say Grace Harris our wait staff for the night was delightful. She really made us welcome and was so efficient. Later we found out she had to move out of her home because of the fire. Well done Grace wonderful service hope you get home soon. Thanks Cheryl

Good value beers, comfy outdoor area and very friendly staff. Nice to drop in for a quick lunch beer under an umbrella. The front face the Richmond Mall carpark, but they also have an internal beer garden. I've been here a few times and have no complaints. Ate once on a Sunday evening where I shared a steak sandwich with my GF.

Went there for a company function. There wew about 26 of us so we had the whole loft. Though the food was good when we got it, it took far to long to arrive and at one point we had to ask the wait staff to take our dessert orders.

We came in first night of level 1 lockdown. Place was packed Only two FOH staff but they truly did their best. Took a while for food to come as expected for that workload but it tasted good. They have some interesting pictures around too if that means anything haha

decent food and good hearty portions, service wasnt exceptional but i may have been there at wrong time. staff still nice and friendly, food is yummy but still pub food or maybe slightly above that level.. nothing too fancy though. if it wasnt for my chef background and preference for nicer food it would have the extra star from me as food was still cooked right and full of flavor. good range of beers and small pokies room but good games... if your interested as i obviously am.. 😅

A bit frustrated with stables as nobody collected our entre and first course dishes and when we got our desserts the staff didnt clear the table so we had to go downstairs and ask for them to be removed. Also I checked the menu when I got home to find I was overcharged by $10. Annoying.
