What to say. Just another McDonald's. But this one always seem clean, and most the time food is good and chips are not cold. 4 stars coz it's one of the better ones.

I will never forget the taste and old lady who served the flat white coffee here with regular coffee cup and saucer.(not one time use paper or plastic cup) While we are touring around New Zealand in 2019, stopped by this McDonalds on the way to Queenstown, and ordered some coffee(flat white) uniquely served only in this Oceanian area. I wish we could meet her again next time we visit there, and hope her to be healthy.

NEVER have I been to a MacDonalds where I had an experience like this..! I went to Rolleston MacDonalds with my kids and my 1 year old had a meltdown at it being able to go on the playground (closed due to COVID). After this went on awhile the manager came over and apologized that it couldn’t be opened and made us feel really welcome. As a parent it can sometimes feel like you’re judged when your kids are having a meltdown but we had the opposite. All the staff were lovely and the manager made the experience even better for us. Thanks

The cafe coffee can be a "hit & miss". Ordered a caramel latte a few times from here at roughly the same time in the day and can taste the difference. It definitely depends who's making the coffee.

It is the only 24h food stall u might have around Rolleston hence BP is not much of a food stall. Two days recently when I was there I had to wait in an unusual space to pick my order. I went through the drive through, paid and they gave me my Coke ordered and told me to wait couple of meters passes the window. Then a crew member delivered the order to the car. Comparatively to KFC, their potato chips are tastier. That is a highlight.

Rolleston is the up and coming area, so its only fitting that there Golden arches it top notch. Customer service was great, food good particularly Quarter pounder which is my favorite. Chips slightly under cooked which is why I rated 4.

Staff are friendly, very clean and tidy, heaps of parking, drive through service available 24hrs. Fairly typical service you would expect at any McDonald’s store. Wheel chair access, facilities for parents with babies, on site toilets etc. Located on the same site as BP so you can refuel at the same time.

The owner shows a real genuine heart in everything he does and presents a beautiful environment and very conscientious of covid and peoples needs. When our family left we still had a great feeling of being cared for and warm inside. Just what everyone needs in this sensitive time. Nice a clean this morning I know how hard it is to keep the place clean and tidy in a fast food restuarant! I watched one of the people working, he was making sure everything was clean made sure everyone seated were looked after and had gotten their order it was really refreshing having someone be so polite and going above and beyond to give people some spectacular service Mike, you are doing an amazing job and you should definitely know how appreciative we were for your service came away smiling and ready to enjoy the rest of our day.

My kids played in the playground. It was tidy and Rangi who took our order was friendly and helpful. The food was brought out to us by a lovely lady who said to let her know if we needed anything else. It was very tidy. And plenty of car parks. But the two friendly staff and happy kids made it a great visit.

Because they cater to a large area, it can get very busy here so always plan to go either before or after regular meal times. Hopefully once the renovations are done things will run even smoother.

Very very clean...i have never been in one that was sparkling like Rolleston. I had called in there to meet up with a friend, that has moved there, want sure where her house was, so she suggested McDonald's. I will make that a regular stop when travelling between Oamaru and Christchurch. Nice hot cappa coffee with plenty of sprinkles.

McD's is McD's but on this occasion I was grabbing a quick bite on my way to work and was told to park up and wait for my coffee. Having already received my food. I waited so long breakfast was getting cold so I ate...still no coffee, getting late, so I had to leave. Not great as the coffee was the main thing I wanted.

One of the first Mcdonalds in Chch and still the biggest, Mcdonalds Riccarton has a large playgrou d, mc cafe and drive through. The kids area is seperate from the main area so you can dine without being annoyed by scfreaming kids if this is an issue for you
