Amazing food, very authentic. This is nothing like all other Indian food that I've had before. Tastes like heaven. Very generous portion, great value for the price. So fresh and quality. It's a shame if you come to Rotorua and don't try this place. I can't wait to go back. 5 stars are not enough to rate this place.

Coming from Dunedin where its hard to get authentic indian food, this restaurant proved to be a real treat for me. I ate once and got hooked to the place for my entire stay of 4 days in Rotorua. So many varieties and absolutely delicious food. Biryani, masala dosa and thalis are a must try. Awesome food and great service.

Good options for starters and liked the taste too , well presentation, fast service. Mains were ok !! We had a recommendation from someone to try this restaurant, looks quite average from outside but food 🥘 shouldn’t disappoint you. Did see some other snacks ordered by other people , they were looking tempting. I would Say, loads of options for starters and quick snacks, I would try main course dinner 🥘 somewhere else !!

Well, I don't eat non-vegetarian when I am in Rotorua just because of this restaurant <3. The food is absolute love and the variety of the indian street food that you crave for is unparalleled. The best part is the consistency of taste to what you would have had back home, it ain't tweaked to suit everyone nor it's spiced up enough to burn your taste buds. Kind of the real "authentic" indian food i would say. Service times are fast plus they make their own sweets as well so it's Disneyland for me !

I love this place, the food is amazing and such good value. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, this is my favourite place in town to eat! I've never been disappointed, the portions are generous and I am always satisfied with the food. Can't recommend this place enough.

Absolutely amazing. Great food and a very large variety. We were a family of five vegans and almost all dishes were either vegan or could be made vegan. We were so excited about this place that we returned three times. Highly recommended.

It's hard to find a place that does such an amazing job giving the best taste in all the cuisines it provides, but this restaurant does that amazingly. I visited this restaurant 3 times in a row on Christmas holidays in 2021 . Staff in front Vishal (from Nepal, apologies if I have written wrong name)is the best & very helpful irrespective of how much ever the busy restaurant is , he gives his 100% and do his best to keep all guests satisfied with their dining experience. Nice songs , fantastic ambience & last but not least - authentic Indian food , best ever !!!!! Thanks to chefs for their hard work 👍👍👍. Highly recommended if u ever come to Rotorua or live in Rotorua & felt like having street food in 🇮🇳 , so good .

Absolutely great! I'm not a vegetarian or vegan but my friends were and they were well catered for. Also, everything tasted great!! The service was fast and friendly and the price is well worth the amount of food you could eat. Definitely going back again to try the sweets as I have heard they are just as good.

Courteous and quick service are the highlights of this place! We had ordered Veg Biryani along with Buttermilk. The taste was good. One of best food ever had so far in new zealand similar taste like street food from india .The lady owner was too co-operative with her staff helping all way around. It was extremely busy as on a weekday too as such the craze of ''Real Indian Food'' is here. As me as a chef being playing around with the ingredients and plating up the dish to my standards its hard to find the real food but yeah the chef who made the food was scrumptious ever. We had a fabulous meal last week. One of the best Indian meals I've ever had. Enormous choice of North and South Indian dishes, plus some Indo-Chinese. Great help from the very friendly staff. The food came quickly and was delicious. Fresh, clean flavours. A real variety. Beautifully cooked. Cost us $20 per head for two enormous meals. Highly recommended.

BailwalG is the best place for a vegetarian breakfast in Rotorua. This place is run by two brothers from a Indian family. So the food has that homely touch. And service is pretty fast for fresh made food. We loved all the south Indian breakfast items. So we went there repeatedly during our stay. The Upma was one of the best that we have ever had. Overall New Zealand has some of the best Indian food. Maybe it's because of fresher ingredients. Don't miss BailwalG if you are in Rotorua. It's a vegetarian's paradise.

This is a hidden gem amongst a jungle of eateries in downtown Rotorua. It has a homely kind of a feel to it. Idli/ Medhu vada was just amazing, especially the red chutney that it came with.
