We enjoyed a "Blanc" woodfired pizza at lunchtime right after riding in the Redwoods, and ate at one of the many outdoor tables. Lots of great bike parking! Woodfire-roasted chicken, red onions and olives with a creamy bechamel cheese featured on this pizza. It was absolutely delicious and the crust was amongst the best we've had, too. We took home a brown-butter cinnamon roll and a ginger crunch square, both of which were really yummy! Top marks for the food, the friendly and efficient service and the beautiful clean surroundings. We will be back!

Lovely big seating area and very modern. Great service and wonderful pizzas. The sourdough bases are beautiful. Can’t wait to visit on a warm day so we can dine al fresco.

Amazing cafe, good value for money. Good and fun dining environment, with a small area explaining about some Scion research in timber / lumber. Good coffee and food - vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options available.

Went for lunch here today the place was extremely busy but the staff remained pleasant and helpful and the food and drink delivered quickly. This is my second visit and I shared the pizza which was excellent and highly recommended and had very good coffee and sweet as well. Cost is moderate $$

Great quality, tasty food, awesome slices and pizzas. If you want dominoes style pizza, this isn't the place for you. Nice place to have a beer or coffee after a walk or ride in the redwoods.

Food was good and staff friendly enough - the biggest let down was the table cleanliness. Staff slow to clear tables on the day we visited and didn’t do a particularly thorough job of cleaning the table surface down (and managed to flick crumbs and so onto us as we sat there). Unfortunate as the rest of the meal was pretty good.

Great service. The best thing I like is how fast food and coffees come after ordering. These peple have got a great system working. 10/10😀👍👍👍And you can buy a beer here with freshly made pizza too. Great spot.

Tucked away at the end of the Redwood roadway, part of Psion, this is a great place for lunch. The pizzas are delicious and not just your average toppings. Loved it.

Lovely unexpected, pretty and modern cafe a short 1km walk from Redwood Forest. Liked the cool bike stand outside using a tree trunk. Staff were friendly although busy. Muffin topped with lemon curd was delicious, cuppaccino strong and tasty. An unexpected surprise, just a short walk away!

Took a very long time to get to the checkout to order in the queue and pay for our meal. Came as a big group so all our people arrived at different times so meals all came at different times too even though we requested to have meals altogether as much as possible - didn't happen. Not impressed with the cooks in the pizza area - were swearing while ghey were cooking and could be clearly heard while we were ordering our meals.

Went here for lunch and the pizza was great. Very dog friendly and our puppy absolutely loved the puppicino! Definitely recommend

The place is very nice, the food is affordable and delicious and the staff is very polite, specially Arnie that has a great customer service and she is always active taking care of all the tables. Well done guys! 😊

What a great little spot, not far from the Redwoods Tree Walk. Lovely spacious air conditioned cafe area, with awesome gluten-free options. Ordered the corn chips/guacamole and squid. Followed up with cheesecake and long black, all GF 👌🏼Highly recommended and would definitely visit again 😊

Staff are friendly, the space is nice and pizzas are quite good. The cabinet food is pretty average though and only two salads ever change. Overall prices are probably a bit high for the quality, so not a great value. Drinks selection has improved but is still limited.

Situated inside virtually Redwood Forest omg we had Fresh next level artisans FOOD, really great flavor roast COFFEE in this , I was going to say Cafe but its more what I expect a very sustainable environment that serves BIG BREAKFAST to be / or not to be. I chose my delights masked then mask removed to be indoors, at table number 72. Boy this food and beverage was a banquet treat for a hungry guy such as i, i want it all. I never played with my iPhone 📱 not even once. This is how good Eastwood , I Love the name btw - is, International Standard - (IS) ...

Wow! 1st time I'd been there. We met for lunch w friends. I'd heard it was a gd place to eat n I wasnt disappointed! Great looking place inside n out. The interior is fantastic w lots of natural (?) wood stunning architecture!! Friendly helpful staff delish& variety of kai n inu (food & drink) the best of the best pizza!!!!!!! Try it I highly recommend this place 🌟🌟

Bit of a mixed bag with this place. Lovely atmosphere and music, surrounded by the scion timber campus. Menu is great and drinks choices too. However food we had good and bad. Blanco Pizza was yum but had a small amount of raw dough and we found chicken bones in it :( The kids fried chicken used a spicy (peppered) chicken that was over done. Very off-putting for a 4 year old. However the empanadas were amazing and had a great source pairing. Update - was provided a refund for the pizza due to the chicken bones.

Stunning breakfast. Can highly recommend salmon eggs benedict with crispy homemade rosti. Coffee was very well made. Had cappuccino. Right by the Redwood forest. Dogs welcome at tables outside. The building is absolutely gorgeous. Worthy of it's architectural awards.

We had a couple of pizzas one evening that weren't great - one was burnt, the other half cooked. We ate what we could and were just leaving when the manager approached us to ask how the food had been. He was very apologetic and as we were leaving the car park he waved us down and gave us two free pizza vouchers. We returned the next day and he made sure that our food was cooked to perfection. Great customer service rescued what would have been a disappointing experience.

Great architecture and lovely cafe and service, the only reason for the down stars was that they didn't offer many options for dietary restrictions like gluten-free or vegan. Asides from that, a great place to have coffee and to learn a thing or two from their amazing scientific research project displays on eco-friendly breakthroughs

This is another local Rotorua treasure. After a great walk in the beautiful redwood forest, what better place to end up, than Eastwood Cafe. It's supercool architecture, terrific food, and the dog friendly, kid friendly atmosphere make it a great place for a Sunday brunch date. It's also good for a business meet up or even a date. The food is a bit more interesting than standard cafe fare. They do a yummy breakfast granola and they bake all their own pizzas and pizza breads in their own wood oven which sits in the main serving area. The last meal I ate there was a delicious bacon hock soup with fresh tarragon and home baked parmesan bread. Staff are friendly and it's clean, really clean. It's a perfect ten, this place.

This is by far the best cafe in Rotorua. Great pizza, and food is lovely. Friendly staff. Reduce menu at the moment, but still worth a trip.
