J.Great food and exceptional service.
The waiter was great as he was always checking in on us and when even kept the jacket for us when we left it behind.
The portion sizes were not very large however and for what we paid I would have expected rice or naan to come by default with every curry. The dish in the picture shown is actually about the size of a large apple.
A.Very impressive service. Great family environment. We ordered a butter chicken and a goat korma. Very impressed. The goat was incredibly tender. We thoroughly enjoyed Lovely India
P.Really lovely spot for dinner. I brought my family here last night - we have three vegetarians, a vegan AND someone with gluten allergy, and Lovely India catered to all of us beautifully. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive, all the dishes were absolutely delicious and the prices were fantastic. 10/10 we will definitely be back
S.We had a fantastic experience at Little India in Rotorua! Despite the restaurant being extremely understaffed like the entire Hospitality industry as a whole at the moment, the service was amazing. Yuvraj was extremely attentive, smiley & friendly, and despite us watching him run around serving the entire restaurant by himself, he didn't let the stress show & ensured we had a wonderful time. The food was good & we would definitely all return again. Thanks team!
L.This evening, my partner and I went out to celebrate our anniversary. After trying our best to avoid the tourist traps of Rotorua, we stumbled across Lovely India. My partner and I usually go for the same old thing but with the guidance and help from Yuvraj, we branched out and tried something new. When you’re visiting Rotorua, you worry about falling for a ‘tourist trap’ when it comes to eating out, because there are so many options. We are happy to say we chose right.

K.Came here for dinner on New Years day and was blown away with how delicious the food us. Seriously. I rarely leave reviews, but this place deserves it. If anything the service was a little slow, but I understand as it was due to staff shortages. The staff that was working that night was very kind. Especially the young boy (whose name I cannot remember) taking our order who was kind enough to talk us through the menu and was very apologetic about the wait time. My wife and I couldn't fathom some of the poor reviews this place has been getting so we thought we had to share that we overall had a lovely time, and we can't wait to visit again. Recommending this place to all our friends and anyone thinking of visiting - you definitely should!
M.Excellent service, and the food quality was awesome!! We were quite skeptical, thinking it would be a tourist dive especially after a couple of days at other restaurants with great reviews & sub-par food quality but that quickly changed soon as we sat down and had some of the nicest curries & naan in a long time! Definitely would recommend and return to next time we visit Rotovegas!
