J.On New year was in Rotorua for my holidays. Found this restaurant was fully packed. But Front Stafff organized a table for us. Owner of the restaurant was so polite and helped us to select the best dishes. Loved this place . Definitely recommend .

K.Beautiful food. Have ordered many times. Ordered takeaway from the new second location on 27/02/22 and it was outstanding. Should have taken a picture but I get to excited and greedy to dig in.
t.We had a hot chicken vindaloo and mild lamb sagwala with naans. Both dishes were excellent. Love your work. Definitely coming back to try the rest of menu.
H.Went late at night (past 9:30pm), the staff was so so friendly. Best customer service as they were willing to help as much as possible. Today was a full busy day in Rotorua and they said it caused the restaurant to have no gravy for the curry, yet they managed to cook us a delicious Kadhai Paneer. 10/10 recommend and at perfect spice level. The food was so yummy and service was amazing. Definitely come here and eat Kadhai Paneer if vegetarian.
Naan was soft and massive, cheaper compared to Auckland. The staff were so kind to us (Especially Manager Mannu).

s.One of the best non-vegetarian Indian cuisine restos in Rotorua. The curries have distinctive tastes and are not overpowered by cream. The chicken starters esp the Murgh Malai Tikka just leaves you speechless. My goto place for non-veg desi dishes in Rotorua. Keep up the great work!
d.One of the best Indian you’ll have in NZ. Stayed in quarantine and tried them all in Rotorua. Can tell that chef knows what he’s doing. Everything is fresh. Customer service excellent to top it all off. Not overpriced either. Superb! One of the best tikka pieces I’ve ever had ever! Thank you 😋

S.Recently visited Rotorua with my family and had bought food (Butter chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala/Tandoori Roti's/Naan) from this takeaway restaurant. Honestly, would like to give the best rating (4.5) to this restaurant, as my little one nearly age 3 year's and rest of the family enjoyed food. Also, I would had tried another Indian restaurant in Rotorua and lots of Indian restaurants in Auckland, but never found great taste like Royal Indian restaurant anywhere else. Definitely would recommend all to try this restaurant. :)

H.Have been searching for a decent Indian, but until now we haven’t had great experiences in Rotorua. So we don’t eat it too often. But finally I’ve found a place which not only greets you with big smiles on arrival, but serves up delicious curry at the perfect spiciness, the prawn pakoras were hard to share and the naan was also on point. Thanks for offering to bring my food to the car as I had bubs with me, I should have accepted graciously - next time I will. It’s super handy from our place too, so we’ll be back!
J.Ordered lunch special and it was one of the best (soft and crispy) Naan bread I ever had. Curry (Kadhai paneer) was very tasty as well. Highly satisfied with the quality of food and friendly service.

J.Probably one of the best curries I’ve ever had. It was fresh, flavoursome and had the perfect spice level. The naan was soft, fluffy and perfect!
We’re currently in hotel isolation and it came within half an hour of ordering and was super hot. I would come back to Rotorua just to have this curry again 😂
