H.Wonderful experience from the moment you step inside, friendly staff, the open environment and then the food. Delicious very generous. I had the french toast ... oh my goodness, was expecting possibly two pieces of toast, but there was 4 and then the berry conserve ... delish. My husband had the trail brake, and our son the meat lovers pizza. Very impressed. Totally recommend and we will be back.
L.Had a very friendly welcome from the woman behind the counter this morning! Enjoyed the very clean space in this cafe, as well as excellent coffee and sausage rolls. Will be back when we're cycling in the Redwoods next!

S.Fist time today at the recently opened Trail Kitchen at the Waipa Mill Car Park at the Redwoods. Initially, I was a bit concerned when arriving after a ride to the cabinets completely devoid of food. But ordered from the menu, and not only did the food arrive quickly, but I was blown away by the quality. The smashed avo was amazing, covered in seasonal flowers and a to die for sauce around the plate. Daughter had the four cheese pizza, which even appealed to my adult palette. Prices aren't cheap, but well worth it. Overall amazing, and I'll be back!
L.Thank you to Manaia and the team at Trial Kitchen. We held my mothers 80th birthday party there, it was the perfect venue and the food was outstanding. This made for an extra special day for all. Would highly recommend them.
