M.The best maccas ever. Gotta love seeing the workers grabbing some food for themselves instead of the customers. I highly recommend this place if you wanna waste some time during the day go hard
C.No come icecream. Had to buy sundaes. No car to use drive through so weren't going to be served at all. Ended up someone with a car went through the drive through for us. Icecream was great. But effort to get it when not a customer in sight was no fun. Stinking hot day. Out walking. Christina 😥
S.Burgers and breakfast items were so so. Very hard buns and wayyyy too much sauce on the burger meant everything was sliding around.
Restaurant is closed and drive thru only as well, but you don’t know that until you get to the door due to the tiny little sign.
Q.Decent Macca's, although we did have an odd experience during Orange Light (Covid framework) whereby we were told to takeaway by one of the staff because 2 families were dining in... But apparently not the case after clarifying with a different staff at the counter?
B.Gents toilet was rather disgusting. Smelt like urine and there was a urine puddle under the unrinal. The music was also way too loud. The place was packed with travellers so the noise with music and people trying to communicate above that was really unpleasant
R.Clean, fast service. I went during covid era. Signs for social distancing is well advertised. Correct order given. All good.
L.In a world where barely anyone avknowledge each other any more, I just want to give a shout out to the girl on the drive through window 1 right now. So nice and friendly and thorough.
P.Took a while for food but it was fresh and the whole order was there which is sometimes not the case with other stores around the country.

K.Multiple errors with our order that required repeated trips back to the counter to have corrected, other customers there at the same time seemed to be having similar issues. However, the staff at the counter were polite and quick to address the issues.
R.Always busy and as usual no exception today. Could do with another ordering kiosk and toilets need a good deep clean but one of the better small town stores... A generic comment I have pondered previously is how perfect the table service would be if it includes paper napkins ketchup and salt and pepper...

A.If there hadnt been four of us I would have copied the two couples who sat down beside us then decided to eat in the car cause the air con was far too cold. Had to go and get the part of the order they forgot. But was fresh food and a clean restaurant.
j.Truckie here I just stopped for dinner here and due to restrictions the lobby was closed ..obviously I can't fit my truck thru drive thru so I asked if they could help.They were very accommodating and helpful...10/10 guys well done ..you didn't make it look like I was being difficult and you were really friendly..thank you staff that were on at 7.30 pm on the 8/2/22 .p.s the girl on front counter is pretty good looking too haha ...

L.This store is relatively new (<5 years) I think. Looks clean. But the drive thru in the latter hours of the evening can be shocking. On a Thursday or Friday evening around 8pm, there were only 2 cars in front of me. But it took nearly 20 mins to receive my order. Not sure why it takes the staff so long but I think perhaps some work needs to be done to speed up drive thru service at night.
P.Place was clean and tidy. Staff service great. My big Mac Combo yum.. Worth taking the break to have meal.
M.Was okay MacDonald's. Had to wait a little bit but thats okay. My sister's burger was not what she ordered but we had already driven off so oh well, she ordered a double cheese burger with bacon but just got a plain single cheese burger.. my food was good tho.
B.Stopped here for a coffee break no burgers coffee was.
T.It must have been a busy day for staff, a middle aged lady serving my coffee literally yelled at me asking what was the coffee I had ordered thru the automatic servery. I walked over and stated I had ordered a flat white one sugar.
The lady ignored me and continued at preparing coffees, we waited at least 10mins for my coffee after we had received my fish burger.
J.This was our first visit to McDonald's post NZ Covid19. So first visit to any McDonald's for about 6 months.
It was a clean, service was great, and the food was awesome. A bright light in an otherwise dull day.

R.Very slow service. The lady cleaning the floors in the restaurant was awesome, she needs a pay rise. (Short Maori lady, probably in her 50s).

H.Typical medium sized McDonald's on the southern entrance to Taihape. The usual range of McDs food at slightly lower prices than in the big cities. A moderately sized indoor playground. Adequate parking. Table service was a bit slow and they got the order wrong, however, they rectified their mistake quickly and without fuss though, which is why they still get 3 stars and not 2.
A.Some food was fresh. Toilets a little grubby but they were very quick to clean up when pointed out. Manager was working her butt off.
M.We arrived to a busy place. You can order on a screen & pay eftpos, then grab a number for your order to be delivered to your table or when ready to collect from counter. This was new to me. Decor was clean if a little worn on places. Service was excellent. The guy was super nice that brought our tray to us.
J.Burger was as expected but Fries needed more seasoning. A bit of a delay with food as it was quite busy. Coffee had been waiting and was only warm.
H.One of the best McDonald's restaurants I have been to. Well assembled burgers, lettuce not thrown all around the box. Very fresh fries, not super fast service but extremely friendly considering how busy it can get with the people passing through the town. I liked how they park you out of the way if some of your order isn't ready, stops getting the drive through backed up.
K.Sometimes service is great, others its below average. I'd love to be able to leave there with my whole order.
A.McDonald's Taihape is always our go to stop when we travel to Wellington. Service is good and food good. Staff are friendly and helpful also. Keep up the good work Taihape.

v.Not the greatest for my grandson as he gets car sick and yes it came out in taihape maccas however the staff were very caring and made sure we were able to clean up his mess sanitizer and and above all made sure he was alright so big thumbs up to their staff

Y.We stop over at McDonald's Taihape as all take shops were closed in Turangi. Was busy but clean and plenty of parking. Burger King on the main state high way 1 in Turangi closes early. There is no McDonald's in Turangi. You will find McDonald's in Taupo or Levin travelling to or from Auckland / Wellington.
C.Staff seemed to be a bit slower than other McD's I'd been to, as evidenced by the line that kept growing. And it's little things like the size of our soft serve cone was tiny compared again to other McDs. Not terrible, but not great either.
K.Ok, but have had better. Service was not the best. Manager lady who served us was grumpy and rude
R.This place is too variable for me. I really only go due to grandchildren pressure. Our last visit was ok but on two occasions when we have used drive through service some products were lukewarm. We did complain thr first time and got a nice response but the test is in the eating. And the next drive through was again lukewarm fries. I'm trying to get the kids to go to Burger King but they like the play area .... lol
K.Being from the United States and use to McDonald's here, made this experience weird. In NZ you order from a computer screen station, and then go to a counter to pay & pick up your food. In the USA, we just go to the counter & tell them what we want. I'm not a fan of touching computer screens that hundreds of people have previously touched. I'm not a regular McDonald's customer nor do i care for their food but my daughter's & I did it just so we could say we did in NZ. I do have to say though that the egg mcmuffin I had was not bad.

A.The McDonald's in Taihape is a welcome break from the long drive home from Auckland. I ordered 2 Big Macs with extra pickles, salt and pepper, and it was prepared and served exactly like what's in the photographs. This doesn't happen often at other McDonald's franchises! And the order was fast. Nicely done!
X.Quicker than what i thought. Order not complete. After eating on the road found out apple pie missing. Taihape would appreciate contacting me to refund my money for something not supplied.
J.For a McDonald's its run down, toilets were filthy and you couldn't see through the windows and why the heck has McDonald's stopped giving straws and napkins I know we need to be aware of waste but they could be offered.

K.Quite clean with parking spaces but definitely not fit for a campervan. But you can park your RV by the shops. Stayed a bit longer to charge our electronics. Toilets are clean. All in all, a good stop.

J.Hi it was very busy at McDonald's today around 8pm, it was so full on that they were not completing the orders properly. People were going back with there recite to show them what they missed, I waited nearly half a hour to I got mine.

d.I stop here occasionally. It is like the usual Mcdonalds that I am used to. However can you please look into how you heat the patties for quarter pounder. I have got cold patties (colder than then bun) for last 2 quarter pounders I bought from your shop.
